Finally, The 10-minute intriguing and tough fight was over. Newton and Blaze were already weard out.
Their face had cuts and bruises. They laid with their back on the green grass as they looked at the stars.
Newton blinked his eyes when he sighted a shooting star run across the dark sky.
“Wow. The night is beautiful” Newton whispered as he looked on.
“Really?” Blaze whispered, looking on.
“No… It’s not that beautiful–Newton sighed and closed his eyes.
…..I’m overwhelmed and astonish by you guys great acting. You should be given a golden medal” He added
Blaze turned his head to him and kept mute.
“Why did you lie to me?” Newton asked, with his eyes still closed.
“You never asked” Blaze replied
“Then, Why did you pretend?” He had tears flowing down his close eyes. He rested his arm on his face trying to hide his tears.
Blaze sighed and looked back at the sky.
“Don’t irk me…. Samantha likes you, That all that matters”
…..You like her too, Don’t you?” Blaze asked, now turning again to him. Newton’s face was still covered with his arms. He was still crying painfully.
“A lot” He finally replied, after some hesitation.
….You can take her, My heart is now shut from others. I’m also embarrassed!” Newton added.
“Embarrassed? You’re regretting what you did, right?” Blaze asked
“No. There’s a difference”
“Aiish. What’s Füçking difference?” Blaze scoffed
“I’m just embarrassed that I locked my heart again when it was almost opened. But, I’m not regretting it because just like her, I’m also hurt… So badly hurt” His voice sounded shaky due to his cries.
“What do you mean, hurt? You were the one that actually made her feel hurt!”
“No one would understand. You aren’t in my shoes. You should know me, I’m so hot tempered. Seeing Samuel as a girl made me mad, I couldn’t control myself. I’m a crazy fool! Anyways, Only Samantha’s case would be understood….Finding out a guy whom I thought I was getting crazy for, which looks and sounds weird of course.. Is actually a girl, whom everyone knows about excluding me? It’s painful. I mean, I see you guys everyday so why not me?? Who knows, I would have understood her then”
“What difference would it be if she told you then? What’s the difference between now and then?”
“Making me a “total fool” now. Then, I was just a “cute fool”. If you wanna know the difference between now and then, Check your debut pictures and recent ones”
Blaze laughed at this statement. Newton couldn’t help but smile.
“Blaze? I think it’s too late for I and Samantha. Take a shot now, Who knows she might be yours” Newton whispered, turning his head to him. Blaze looked at him and chuckled loudly.
“Huh?”
“I know you have feelings for her” Newton retorted
“No. She pushed me away already. I think I’m just gonna wait till forever?” Blaze tittered. Newton gave a slight nod and inhaled deeply.
“Are you gonna be okay with it,though,If I give another shot?” Blaze asked, breaking the silence.
“…………No, I’m not okay with it” His reply came briefly and slowly.
“Huh?”
“But here’s nothing I can do. I’ve locked and shut my heart already. Remember? So, Give it another shot” Newton replied and stood up.
“You leaving already? I guess you should wait for another round of fight. Or are you exhausted already?” Blaze playfully jeered.
“I would love too. But thanks to the fight, I just lost 49.9% of my temper. Thanks for relieving it. By the Way, You’re a good fighter” Newton smiled walking away as Blaze scoffed.
“Oh Goodness.. He’s so difficult to understand. I don’t know if he still loves her or not? He’s sure one hard guy! But I’m sure, He loves her. It’s gonna take a while. Samantha, Take heart or feel free to come to me” Blaze whispered to himself as he watched Newton leave with his limping legs which was caused by the tough and rough fight.
