NIGHT~~ WOODS*
Kalinda sat quietly watching Hunter who has been training since they stopped to rest, she didn’t seem to take her eyes off him no matter how she tries and to say that he has been avoiding her
They left their community after the accident between them and Draco so right now they are resting in the woods to continue their journey tomorrow morning
She was still staring at him as he practice under the moonlight when she felt a presence behind her and with a swift move, she gripped the person’s neck
“It’s me,” Viola said but Kalinda pinned to the tree nearby
“Are you gonna kill me now?” Viola said and Kalinda tightened her grip around her neck
Viola just watch without making any attempt to stop her or fight back, her gaze fixed on Kalinda’s eyes as she choke her there
“I helped you three times, are you gonna kill me even after?” Viola asked, staring directly into her eyes
Kalinda gently released her hold around her neck walking away instantly, Viola hurried after her and held her hand
Kalinda stopped and looked at her hand before staring at Viola
“I know you might think am a witch and am not to be trusted but I can’t do anything that will harm you, wh@tëver I did in the past I was following orders and it was an honor to obey and accomplish any mission you’re assigned to do, can you please h@të me less?” Viola asked calmly
Kalinda was silent, she has no expression on her face making it hard for Viola to read her mind
“Am sorry,” Viola added making her scoff
“For what exactly?” Kalinda asked and Viola just shrugged
“I dunno,” she replied calmly
“Stay away from me,” Kalinda said walking way
“I know you might think I have other plans but trust me I can and will never do anything harm you, I will swear it if you want! just don’t h@të me too much, it hurts…. my heart hurts,” Viola replied, fighting back tears
Kalinda didn’t stop, she walked away without looking back and Viola just stood there blinking back tears
“She’s gonna come around, just give her space,” Jefferson who has been watching them said
Viola stared at him and walked away, going over to Hunter since he’s the only one that is friendly to her
Jefferson walked over to Kalinda who sat on the floor staring into space
“Hey, I mean Kalinda,” he said and she looked at him
“Are you alright? You seem off,” he said and she was about to reply when Camilla came out of nowhere and sat in their middle
“Can’t you see me here?” Jefferson asked and she rolled her eyes
“Go and sleep,” Camilla muttered rudely and crossed her hand around Kalinda’s shoulder
“Unbelievable,” Jefferson muttered, he stood up and left
“I did it,” Camilla muttered and Kalinda looked at her faking a weak smile
“Yeah, thanks for making him leave, he’s becoming a pest,” she replied and Camilla laughed
A moment of silence passed
“Are you feeling any pain anywhere?” Kalinda asked and Camilla raised her brows
“Like where?” she asked and Kalinda looked at
“Just trying to check on you, you didn’t have to think dirty,” Kalinda said and stood up going over to Hunter
“Kalinda” Camilla shouted and went after her but Xavier held her hand and pulled her back
“Let her go,” he said pulling her to himself

Kalinda looked at Hunter who was still practicing even when everyone has retired to sleep
“You can’t learn all the skills at once, it’s one day at a time,” Kalinda finally said after a moment of silent
Hunter ignored her
“You need to get some sleep,” she added softly
He didn’t even spare her a glance
Kalinda gulped nothing before trying again
“I know you’re mad at me for what happened with Cyprus but the thing is even if you train for the whole of today you still can’t kill him so you need rest,” she added
Hunter finally looked at her, she gave him that puppy look but he quickly looked away
Kalinda bit her lower lips tightly and went closer, Hunter continue his practice till when she was about to touch his hand
He shifted backward and start working away
“I’m not saying that you shouldn’t practice okay? But what am saying is that you need rest, if you die am gonna leave in pain for thousand years until another savior is born, so please stop already and get some sleep,” Kalinda explained trying to get him to understand
Hunter totally ignored her and walked away
She watch as he start his practice again, Kalinda stood there for a while then she took a deep breath, she let out a breath and walked over to the open space left for her
She lie gently on it and Jefferson came forward and covered her perfectly with a bedspread, she lifted her head staring at him
“I brought extra, in case it’s cold out here just so…”
“Take it, one is enough for me, Wh@tëver this is all about am not interested so quit trying,” Kalinda cut in and he gulped
He took the bedspread and went over to his side and lie back down
“why is she so hard?” he thought silently

Kalinda looked up in the sky watching the stars high above, she close her eyes as many thought clouded her mind
“Baby, am so sorry for giving you up, that’s the only way to save you. I know am gonna die some day but all I pray for is to see you once again before I die,” she sniffed, as tears fight their way out of her eyes but she was fighting back
“I know you will h@të me for being a bad mother, am sorry I did it to protect you from your father’s wrath, don’t h@të me too much, please. I have always wanted to be a mother and when I finally become one, I can’t even look at you twice,” she opened her eyes staring at the stars
“I just wish you will be able to forgive me and call me mom some day, I just pray I will have enough courage to tell you that am your mother when I finally see you, I only pray for you not to h@të me too much, I just want you to acknowledge me and call me mother that’s all I ask for, I just wanna hear it from it, I have always wanted to hear it but because of my dark fate I don’t know if that will be possible for me,” she wipes the tears that rolled down her eyes, another one build up instantly
“I love you too much, more than I love myself and I pray that the heavens will keep me alive even if it’s just at my last minute just so I could see you once again and you will call me mom. You were just a little boy I can’t imagine how big you might have grown now, I miss you so much and I just wanna see you again even if it’s on my dying day, I wish I can see you right now but your father is watching my every move and I don’t want to be a blazing arrow pointing directly towards you, I love you so much,” Kalinda mumbled under her breath staring at the stars
She took her gaze back to Hunter to see him still practicing, she looked away staring at the stars again
“What if I die without seeing my baby?” She thought silently
She suddenly looked beside hunter to see a figure hiding behind a tree near him, getting up she ran towards him but it was already too late cos…….
