“Ren, am sorry for hitting you, I already sent him back home,” Cassidy pleaded softly
Ren just stared at her without saying a thing, that’s what she has been doing for the past few days, no matter how Cassidy tried to communicate with her, she will only listen but won’t say a single word
“I’m sorry for hitting you, I will never try it again please,” Cassidy pleaded in tears

“WHAT!!!!!” Ren yelled attracting people’s attention

Xavier and Hunter is currently going over to the bar when Miguel came out of nowhere and blocked their way
“You again, what do you want?” Hunter asked and Miguel smirked
“heard you’re out of soldiers and I have more than enough soldiers so I was thinking if we can agree on the same thing,” Miguel said
“How do you know?” Xavier asked and he laughed tapping Xavier on his shoulder
“Don’t be ridiculous, everyone knows. Besides king’s army is the largest but I can borrow you some of my well-trained soldiers but that’s if you want,” Miguel said
“We don’t need your help, we can fight for ourselves,” Hunter yelled, pulling Xavier away
“You and I know King Tyrone, even with your good and evil magic you can’t defeat all his soldiers, you’re not a machine but human, it will get to a point where you will get weak and tired, King Tyrone is highly protected, he’s not like his son that you killed easily,” Miguel smirked at the looked on Hunter’s face

“Everyone knows the prince,” Miguel cut in sharply
“what’s your offer?” Hunter asked and an evil smirk lingered on Miguel’s face as he went closer
“5,000 soldiers, King Tyrone is coming with the same number of army,” Miguel replied
“And why do you want to help us?” Xavier asked
Miguel chuckled
“I just love being good to people, especially to the needy,” he replied
“Well, we’re not interested…..” Xavier was still saying but Hunter cut in
“What’s your price?” he asked and Miguel nodded
“That’s what I have been wanting to hear, your friend with the name Kalinda, just a drop of her blood that’s all I ask for,” Miguel replied impatiently
“And why is that? What do you want with her?” Hunter asked
“It’s wisdom time baby,” Miguel thought silently
“Don’t fool yourself, you and I know that you love her very much but she seems to have eyes on only Cyprus…..”
“What does the supreme lord of immortals have to do with us? Hunter lets go I don’t like this,” Xavier shouted already pissed off
“It might interest you to know that with Cyprus still in the picture, it will be hard for you to have her. And as for why I want the blood, well Cyprus can smell her scent where ever she is he can find her but once you provide her blood I will block his chances of perceiving her scent and you can have her all to yourself,” Miguel replied and Hunter gave it a quick thought
“Not interested,” Xavier replied pulling Hunter away from there
“I will be right here waiting for you in case you change your mind, just call Miguel and I will run to you,” Miguel shouted
They ignored him and left
Shortly after they left Gianna appeared
“Do you think it will work?” Gianna asked and Miguel scoffed
“I just need to work on him a little bit more, trust me once I get the blood Cyprus is going down,” Miguel said, gritting his teeth
“Why not just kill her….”
“She’s not that easy going, I tried Once but her fighting skills are unique, and Cyprus always comes for her rescue,” Miguel replied

Hunter and Xavier were arguing about Miguel as they walked down the street, Cassidy on the other hand started feeling uneasy again, she tried to control herself but it was just too much for her to

“Hunter no but, okay? We agree to avoid him and that’s it,” Xavier shouted, he stumbled his feet against the floor and stopped walking, Hunter didn’t bother to wait for him
Suddenly Cassidy collide with him
“And who are you?” Hunter asked, he made to push her off but immediately he looked into her face and their eyes met, the wind blowing his hair backward as they locked eyes

“NO!!!!!” Viola screamed at the top of her lungs, pushing them down
Xavier and Ren exchanged glances
“Hunter…. hunter look at me… hey, look at me… please don’t tell me it worked?” she panicked, fear written all over her face
Hunter dusted himself and looked around, he looked at Viola whose heart was pounding against her chest, I bet anyone close could hear it. He walked over to Cassidy
“Mistress, How may I serve you?” Hunter asked and Viola nearly fainted …..
