KALINDA*
Viola removed the wet towel on Kalinda’s forehead before changing it to another one, just then Hunter entered
“How is she doing?” he asked, and he sat beside Kalinda on the bed, he gently took his hand to her face, caressing it calmly
“She’s dying,” Viola replied sadly
“You healed me before, right? You can also heal her,” Hunter said, hoping that she will agree
“I tried, but she has so many injuries, I already heal the ones I can, but the black powder is killing her,” Viola replied pitifully
“What about her son? He said he is a healer, right?” Hunter asked and Viola looked at her
“She might not want him to see her like this,” Viola replied Sharply
Hunter was already on his feet
“Is it better to watch her dye? I will go get him,” Hunter said, going over to the door
Viola didn’t say another word, she just watched him leave, shortly after he left, she looked at Kalinda
“I’m sorry I can’t help much, am weak and tired and if I try to push too much it will kill me, hang on till tomorrow then I will make sure to get it out of you, I promise,” Viola said as if Kalinda could hear her
She stared at Kalinda’s lips and didn’t know when she find herself leaning in for a kiss, just when their lips were about to touch, she stopped and withdraws back
“I shouldn’t be alone with you, you’re so tempting,” Viola mumbled, dropping the towel on her forehead
She left the room

A FEW MOMENTS LATER ~~ CASSIDY?
Cassidy sneaked out of the cave looking around, when she didn’t see anyone, she took to her heels
The only thing on her mind was to go back to her father, she didn’t want to stay there anymore, but she hasn’t gone far when she collides with someone and fall
“Ouch,” she winched in pain
“Are you alright?” the person asked concerned
Stretching out his hand she looked up to see Draco staring at her
“Are you gonna take my hand or not,” he asked rudely, she was taking like forever to get up
What was she staring at? Can’t she just focus?
“Thank you,” she said, dusting her closes after he helped her up
“Watch where you’re going next time,” he added, and she nodded nervously
Draco made to walk past but he turned back to her
“It’s dangerous out there?” he asked and she swallowed nothing, picking on her nails with her face down
“It’s late, you shouldn’t be out here, come with me,” Draco replied, he didn’t wait for her to respond before pulling her and with him

CYPRUS MANSION ?
Cyprus sat on his throne, but his mind was on Kalinda, no matter how he tries to get her out of his head she won’t just leave him alone, it was as if she rented a house in his head
He wanted to heal her, but Hunter was just a pain in the @$$, did he think it’s easy to heal someone with your powers? Did he even know that you will take something out of yourself and give another just to save??
Cyprus suddenly stood up going out

Cyprus entered the house, and no one was around, he stared at Kalinda in shock
“Oh, no, I thought they have a healer? Why will they leave her like this knowing how powerful black powder can be?” he asked no one in particular
Cyprus threw away the towel on her forehead then he gently placed his hand on the position of the towel, he checked her pulse and she was barely breathing
She is close to death, or should I say dead already
“Come on, baby come back,” he mumbled, small lights like lightning passing through his veins and going straight into her body
The lightning from his hand went from one wound to another, as her wounds begins to heal, Cyprus looked at her face only to see that it turning white
“Baby, come on, you should fight back,” he said out loud, taking his other hand to her eyes
He was trying to take out the dark energy inside her and at the same time her soul was leaving her body, it was as if the time was against him cos Mother death came
“It’s over, stop trying,” Mother death said, she stood beside them on the bed, gesturing for him to move away
Cyprus didn’t even spare her a glance
“You’re delaying me, I have more people to attend to,” she added, and Cyprus finally looked at her
“You know she has a 7 years old kid, right?” He asked and mother death shrugged
“How is he gonna live without her?” Cyprus asked in his cold voice
“I Dunno? People die every minute, and my job is to receive their souls, not care for their loved ones,” she replied, less concerned
Cyprus gently carried her off her bed, placing her on his laps

HUNTER
Hunter was on his way to call Chad when Miguel came out from nowhere and blocked his way
“What again?” He asked rudely
Miguel smirked
“Have you reconsidered my proposal?” He asked and Hunter looked at him
“Are you high? Listen….”
“Am not here to banter words with you, go back you will see something that might interest you,” Miguel cut in
Hunter’s expression change instantly
“If you touch….”
“No me, But the supreme God, as we speak now he’s kissing her senseless,” Miguel added
Hunter clenched his fist tightly, pushing Miguel out of the way he started running back home
“Stupid humans,” Miguel uttered and Followed him

“Just let her soul come to me already, stop wasting my time,” Mother death said, she was in a hurry
“Not this one,” Cyprus replied stubbornly
“And why is that? No matter what you do she’s at the point of death and that’s why am here to take her soul where it belongs, you can’t stop it,” she said with seriousness
“You have no idea, do you?” Cyprus asked and mother death narrowed her gaze
“Her body and soul belong to me and me alone,” Cyprus added, lifting Kalinda’s head up
He took his hand to her cheek, pressing it gently, her mouth opened
“You have no idea, do you?” he asked and right before her eyes Cyprus joined his lips on hers, pouring in energy from his body into her
“You can’t do that!” Mother death shouted, watching as his powers pour into her mouth
Dark smoke coming out from Kalinda’s nose and ear
“Of course I can, I told you, her body and soul belong to me alone,” Cyprus said in his head passing the message to her
His body started shaking with his eyes producing lightening, Kalinda suddenly gasped coming back to life, her eyes were still closed but her body returned to normal
Cyprus looked at mother death with a dangerous smirk on his face, she left without saying a thing
Cyprus gently lay her back on the bed, before covering her with the small bedspread
He turned around to leave only to reach an unexpected punch…….
