TWO HOURS LATER*
Camilla Is walking down the street going over to the bar when she started feeling the unusual pain again, she instantly turned around to go back but lost her balance, falling right into someone’s arms
“Oh, sorry,” she said softly and looked up at the person’s face only to see Kalinda staring at her
She is actually the person that caught her
Camilla withdraws herself from her going over to her house and Kalnda just stood there staring at her, she stood and watch till she was out of sight
Turning around to go Viola appeared out of nowhere
“Where have you been ?” she asked, straightening her clothes
“have fulfilled the prophecy so….”
“You might want to know the person that killed your baby,” Viola said and with a swift move, Kalinda gripped her collar pulling her closer to herself
“I never said it was me,” Viola raised her hands in the air
“Who was it?” Kalinda asked instantly, her heart pounding against her chest, she can’t wait to get whoever it is and deal with the person
Viola slowly released her hold, she let out a soft breath before looking at her
“the list expected person but don’t worry, you will have to visit north first then I will tell you who,” Viola replied smiling lightly
“And why did I need to visit north?” Kalinda asked, she seem not to understand a thing
“Hunter has been crowned by Gianna and the people……” she stopped and looked towards the direction Camilla took
“Camilla,” she mumbled
Kalinda looked at her squeezing up her face
“What about her?” she asked staring at her
Without saying a word Viola started running to Camilla’s place, Kalinda followed
Getting to the door Viola didn’t bother to knock as she opened it with her magic, by placing her hand on her door and pushing it forward, the door went ajar
“What!!!” Kalinda yelled immediately she saw Camilla rolling around on the floor, her hand holding her tummy tightly with tears streaming down her eyes
“It hurts, please make it stop,” she cried out agonizingly
“Oh, no,” Kalinda fell beside her, she carried her head to her lap, while Viola took off her clothes
“why didn’t you get the healer? Do you want to die?” Kalinda scolded holding tightly
“Viola come on, do something!” she shouted, fear written all over her face
Viola gently started rubbing her right hand in a cycle caressingly on Camilla’s stomach, sweat covered her clothes with her breathing fading away
“Viola come on, be fast,” Kalinda shouted, fighting back tears
“Am healing her already, dark energy doesn’t work too fast like that, patience,” Viola replied, running her palm on her stomach, taking away the pain
“How can I be so stupid to let anger ruin me? Please don’t die….. please, please,” Kalinda mumbled cupping her face
“She was supposed to take medication to get better so why didn’t she take it? Cos am sure that must have coursed this,” Viola complain
“just get her back to life, I don’t want mother death to tell me that she already crossed over to the other side….”
“Wait, you saw mother’s death?” Viola asked and Kalinda squeezed up her face
“Why ask?” she asked
Viola became curious
“Cos it’s impossible to see death, I mean… she’s like death, like the way people die, that’s what she is. How did you even see her if she’s the person you saw, cos am sure you can’t see her, she’s not human and…’
“I was talking about a paragraph Camilla read to me long ago,” Kalinda lied, cleaning the sweat on Camilla’s face
“Oh, only those with powerful magic have seen her, have seen her twice when I was still the wicked witch of the …..” she didn’t finish what she was saying cos Camilla opened her eyes
Viola stopped caressing her tummy and looked at her face
“Camilla,” she called calmly
“Yeah, am fine now, thank you,” Camilla said flashing a light smile
she knows someone was holding her but she didn’t know who, lifting her head she saw Kalinda staring at her
“Why didn’t you take your medication? Or perhaps tell Xavier to get the healer? Why would you risk your life…..”
“Don’t scold me, okay?” Camilla shouted already in tears
Viola looked at the two of them
“You could have got yourself killed, would that have been better?” Kalinda snapped
“It was just me, okay? I tried taking care of myself but my tummy won’t just let me, I mistakenly pour away the medicine that was given to me and I was ready to go get another one but there was no one to help me out, I cuddle myself to sleep and sing to myself, sometimes I will be hungry but too weak to even stand up, sometimes I will just remember the good old days and smile weakly, maybe if I didn’t kill your son, you wouldn’t have beaten me and my baby wouldn’t have died as a fetus and I wouldn’t have this pain, the pain of losing everyone in my life, first it was my dad, then your little boy, then you, then Xavier, Viola was nowhere to be found and I had to dwell on my own….. my own…. my…..” Kalinda pulled her into a tight hug
Her tears flowed freely as she cried on Kalinda’s shoulders
“Am sorry for being a bad friend, I didn’t know that you were having a baby and I didn’t know what came over me and I was just mad that I lost the child I have been protecting for years, I just loved him too much and the pain was also too much for me,” Kalinda said hugging her tightly
“Viola why didn’t you tell her to run away, you should have told her how blood rage works,” she added staring at Viola
Viola swallowed before speaking
“I tried but she won’t just listen,” Viola defended herself
Camilla sniffed
“Why did you come back? Why are you helping me?” Camilla asked and she pulled away from the hug
Kalinda held her both shoulders
“You once told me that it’s a hard world we live in, that we don’t get too many chances,” she replied and Camilla raised a brow, staring at her confused
“I lost my baby without letting him know who his father was, I don’t want to lose another important person in my life too without telling her how much she means to me, there is this thing I can’t explain that you opened in my heart, I wasn’t supposed to make friends but here we are,” she explained and Camilla went closer
“I love you very much, you’re like a big sister to me, and staying around you makes me happy and sad, have always loved you right from the day I saw you in the dark night,” Camilla said, she made to hug Kalinda again but Viola pulled her back hugging her instead
“hugs are also good for my health, what kind of thing is this? So nobody loves me?” Viola asked a big frown on her face
“We love you!!!” both of them shouted as they entangled in a group hug

Jefferson ran after Cassidy as she smiled, running forward, in her hand was a strawberry that he bought but she took it and ran away
“Cassidy give that back,” Jefferson shouted running over to her
She laughed and looked back at him
“Come get it,” she replied
“You think you can run, huh?” Jefferson asked, he bend and rolled up his trousers
“woooh,” she stick out her tongue in a funny way immediately she saw that
Jefferson ran after her and she took to her heels, she wasn’t so fast
She haven’t gone far when he caught up with her at the center of the community, Jefferson tried taking it from her but she raised her hand, he suddenly tickled her and she let it go, laughing
“You cheated,” she shouted hitting him playfully, she made to grab it but he was faster
Cassidy frowned and Jefferson looked at her face
“Fine, you can have it,” he said handing it over to her
Her face lit up instantly and she reach for it, just when her hand was about to touch it someone knocked it down
They both looked beside them to see Draco standing there, glaring dangerously at Jefferson
“Why would you….” Jefferson was cut off with a punch
Without wasting a second he returned the punch, Draco punch him again
“Back off!!” Draco shouted filled with rage
Jefferson clinched his fist tightly
“Oh no,” Cassidy mumbled fearfully
“You should back off,” Jefferson snarled with a punch
