“Amira” Theo called but she didn’t respond.
He sat down beside her and placed his hand on her lap.
“It’s been more than a month since she went missing, I’ve searched everywhere, I’ve called the police around this area, we pasted her pictures and there is nothing, no information about her” Amira sobbed.
“We shouldn’t give up just yet,” Theo muttered.
“I’m not giving up, I am just tired of seeing your pathetic face everyday, because it’s all your fault that she ran away, your awful treatment sent her away” Amira sobbed.
“I’m sorry”
“Will sorry being her back?,you know it wasn’t her fault”
“She left for that prom party, I warned her not to go anywhere” Theo yelled.
“She was just a young 18 years old girl, it wasn’t her fault that she was R@PED, that her so called boyfriend who left without a reason, it wasn’t her fault that she became nymphomaniac after that incident, we were supposed to support her but you never did, instead you traumatized her everyday “Amira sobbed and palmed her face.
” You destroyed her completely and you broke me, I regret being such a…a weak mother “Amira added in tears.
“Amira, forgive me” Theo begged. He really regrets his actions.
“I will forgive you, the day my Rania comes back” Amira sniffed and turned her back on him.

KNAM COLLEGE ****
Rania flickered her eyes open and gasped in pain, she touched her head and groaned.
“Moew”
She closed her eyes and the memories of her younger self came back, her real name and a guy’s face that wasn’t clear in her mind.
Andre came out of the bathroom and rushed to her.
“Leonora, are you okay?”
“What happened?” She asked and touched her bandaged head in pain.
Andre explained”I don’t know, I found you lying on the floor and blood dripping from your head, I had to bring you to the infirmary, how do you feel?”
” Leonora ”
” Rania “Rania muttered audibly.
” What did you say? ”
” Nothing “Rania cleared her throat and shrugged.
“I think I can find my parents but why can’t I recall their faces? Everything is all blurry,” Rania thought and scratched her hair.
Andre smiled and caressed her cheek with his thumb.
” Do you know who hit you on the head?” Andre asked and she shook her head.
“No”
“Then I think we need to check the security cameras,” Andre said.
“Can you stop doing that!” Rania snapped and yanked off his hand from her face.
“Please can you leave me alone, I need to rest”
“Is this about Alexis?Don’t believe anything he says” Andre defended himself, he knew his brother really well.
“Alexis is a huge liar”
“Well not like you who fool girls and lead them to committing suicide, so just stop this rubbish, you are just, after my pu$$y!” Rania scoffed and moved away from him.
Andre couldn’t deny any of her claims.
“Yeah, I’m after your pu$$y, you are very beautiful and I’m not the guy for you, I don’t think I have gotten over Tinsley yet” Andre sighed and looked away.
Rania bit her bottom lip and looked at his neck, there was a long red mark downwards, she used her hand to reach for it.
“What’s this?” Rania asked but he moved away.
“Nothing,” Andre lied.
“Alexis said that you killed your mom, is that true?”
Hurt flashed through his eyes immediately.
“That bastard!” He yelled and wanted to leave but Rania held on to him.
“Just tell me the truth, ” Rania murmured.
“I didn’t kill her though everyone believes that I did, it was all Alexis, he hid the inhaler and before I got there to see it, she was already dead, we were just kids but my step-dad was quick to accuse me, but… even though… I was just five and I could have been playing with it, I don’t understand why Alexis won’t stop spreading rumours when he is the true culprit “Andre explained, with his eyes getting teary.
” Alexis and my step-dad are making life miserable for me, this bad guy attitude is just a show, I’m always helpless when it comes to both of them “Andre said, already crying.
” I’m just a weakling anyways,who only know how to f*ck girls and can’t afford one square meal for himself”Andre said, with bitter tears dropping.
“He hits you, he gave you that mark, right?” Rania asked,
feeling bad for him.
“Yes” Andre replied and touched his neck.
“You should report him” Rania muttered sadly, Poppy who was quiet all this time, climbed on her and meowed.
“I have when I was ten but I can never forget what happened after that…”
“What happened?”
“I went into a coma for three months, that was how much he beat me up and even till now I’m still a weakling because the memories and scare of that day can’t get out of my head, Mom shouldn’t have married him” He sobbed.
Rania was sad about everything happening to him, she was sadder about her own life.
“It’s alright” She sniffed and hugged him.
“I wish it could be alright, like you say but it’s not” Andre whimpered and hugged her back.
After a long hug, he pulled away.
“How did you find me?”
“It was Poppy who led me to you” Andre wiped his tears and replied.
“Good girl” Rania smiled and caressed its fur.
“Wanna go out tonight, just you and I?”
Rania smiled and nodded.
“Anything so that I wouldn’t see Simon’s face today” Rania sighed.
“Deal” Andre smiled and pecked her lips.
“You’re a jerk,” Rania snickered.
“I know”
