Orpheus was just few steps to his room when he saw a body lying down unconsciously on his door step,he immediately ran faster and bent down before the body,his eyes almost popped out when he saw Renata in her own pool of blood
“Renata” He called,tapping her cheek
Renata managed to open her eyes and two snakes appeared from her shoulders,Orpheus dried them off and a loud scream came from Renata. Orpheus eyes moved to her tummy and his eyes widened
“Gosh,how did this happened?” He asked but Renata couldn’t say a word
“I will call Rocco” Orpheus said but Renata shook her head
“What happened?” He asked
“He…..won’t be…able….” She coughed out blood
“He won’t be able to heal you? Why?!” Orpheus yelled
“It’s……the boss” Renata replied
“Füçk” Orpheus spatted
An injury from Lucifer cannot be healed by someone else except himself alone.
“Bath….Sheba” Renata said and Orpheus immediately carried her in his arms,she lost her consciousness immediately
“Is she dead?” Orpheus scoffed and continue walking till he got to Bathsheba’s room
He knocked and the door opened immediately,revealing Bathsheba and Vesper
“What the h*ll happened!” Bathsheba screamed
“It’s the boss” Orpheus replied before dropping Renata on a table
“Lucifer? Why?” Bathsheba asked
“I have no idea,I just found her on my doorstep” Orpheus replied
“I can’t heal her” Bathsheba said
“But at least some thing can be done to stop her bleeding at least” Vesper said and Bathsheba sighed
“I’m off” Orpheus muttered and went out
Bathsheba started bringing out somethings to stop Renata’s blood
“What do you think happened?!” Vesper screamed when she saw the deep wound in Renata’s tummy
“I guess she touched Larisa” Bathsheba replied and Vesper gasped
“I don’t think she’s going to survive this Bathsheba” She said as Bathsheba added more towel,everything was filled with blood already
“Then we will have to get a doctor or plead with Lucifer…..”
“Not me,brother doesn’t listen to pleas and you know that” Vesper said
“She’s gonna die” Bathsheba said
“Not like I care” Vesper rolled her eyes and Bathsheba looked at her
“Fine,I think we have a solution” Vesper said
“What is that?” Bathsheba asked
“Larisa” Vesper replied
“Larisa? How?” Bathsheba asked again
“Her blood will heal her…..”
“Never,we are not cutting her. It’s dangerous” Bathsheba immediately said and Vesper sighed
“Then,I don’t know what else to say. Let her just die,this empire is too filled up anyway” Vesper grinned.

Larisa open her eyes and turned on the bed,she’s the only one in the room,no sight of Lucifer. She sat up on the bed immediately looking all around
“Looking for me?” Lucifer’s voice suddenly asked and she turned only to find him leaning on the wall
She gasped out and Lucifer let out a one sided smile before walking closer to her on the bed.
“Why are you awake?” He asked
“Why are you not sleeping?” Larisa asked and he placed his two hands on the bed by her sides,his face close to hers
“I find it hard to sleep” he said in a low voice while he stared at her face,Larisa didn’t move back either
“Why?” She asked and Lucifer kissed her neck
“Let’s say….I deserve it” he muttered and continue kissing her neck
“Is it a punishment?” Larisa asked and Lucifer cupped her right Brë@št which made her Mõ@n
“Something like that” he finally answered and Larisa swallowed
He stood properly and shoved his hands into his pocket
“So,you should enjoy your sleep and don’t worry about me” he said and removed one hand from his pocket to stroke her hair
“Goodnight” He muttered and turned to go
“I will be your sleeping pill!” Larisa said out loudly and he stopped on his track
“I will be your sleeping pill,so….don’t suffer all alone,I will be beside you” Larisa said and Lucifer turned
“Sleeping pill? They never worked on me….”
“I’m a human,not a drug” Larisa cut in
“You think it’s going to work?” Lucifer asked
“We won’t know till we try right? Come here” She tapped the right side on the bed and Lucifer watched her in amusement.
“You are not scared to stay on the same bed with me?” He asked
“You said you won’t hurt me” Larisa said
“So you trust me?” Lucifer asked
“I just…..feel like…..you can’t control yourself sometimes. I don’t know what you are,but….” She stopped when Lucifer sped up to her and hugged her,pressing her head to his chest while rubbing her hair
“You’re the first person to tell me this” he said and broke the hug,he cupped her cheek with a gummy smile on his face
“What is that?” Larisa asked
“Trust” Lucifer muttered and Larisa kept staring at him wondering what he might have went through to make everyone lack trust in him
“Then,I will keep on trusting you. So you shouldn’t break the trust” Larisa said,not knowing where those words came from
Lucifer chuckled
“I will try not to” he said and kissed her forehead which made Larisa smile.
They both slept beside each other on the bed and Larisa’s fingers went into his hair
“What is that?” Lucifer asked
“My granny always do this to me whenever I find it hard to sleep” She muttered and continue stroking his hair
“Where’s she?” Lucifer asked
“Dead……she was murdered” Larisa muttered in a painful tone that Lucifer noticed even though she tried not to make it obvious
“It’s working” He muttered and that cheered her up a bit
Lucifer closed his eyes and continue feeling her fingers in his hair

Larisa yawned sleepily as she stretched on the bed weakly,she opened her eyes and gasped out when she saw that it was morning already
“Oh no!” She jumped down from the bed and ran out of the chamber.
Lucifer came in after that,he was quite surprised when he couldn’t find Larisa on the bed
“She left” He muttered,sipping from the drink in his hand and then sighed
“Boring” he groaned

All the maids are all busy working in the kitchen,Larisa was the one doing the dishes all alone anyway..
“Heard she sleeps with the boss” One of the maids suddenly said and Larisa swallowed
“Of course,what do you expect? Isn’t she a sëx slave?” Another one said and they laughed
“I’m sure her parents sold her out coz of poverty”
“I wonder how much the boss bought her”
“Maybe 10euros” Another one said and they laughed again
The kept on talking and saying mean things to her that Larisa was almost in tears,the fact that they are saying it to her face not caring if she heard them or not was hurting her mostly.
All of a sudden they began hearing Bathsheba’s voice and they faced their works immediately
“What the h*ll are you doing here?” Bathsheba was asking someone repeatedly and finally she came into the kitchen,unexpectedly,Lucifer also showed up and the maids all gasped out loudly with wide eyes. Larisa was the only one who didn’t bother to look up or turn,her eyes were filled with tears.
“Good morning boss!” The maids all bowed at once except Larisa
“Lucifer,why are you…..”
“I’m here for her” Lucifer cut in,his eyes on Larisa who was still looking down
“Who?” Bathsheba asked and the maids all blinked
“Hey Risa” Lucifer called and that was when Larisa looked up
The maids were still looking confused
“I’ve been searching for you,why are you here?” Lucifer asked and the maids gasped,Bathsheba smiled crazily as Lucifer walked in
“I don’t want to see this clothes on you again,it’s ugly” Lucifer said,taking off his jacket and then put it over her shoulder
Some of the maids almost fainted
Larisa on the other hand couldn’t process what the heck was going on,she was totally confused
“Let’s go” Lucifer winked and grabbed her hand,dragging her out of the kitchen.
“Master…..” She tried calling him
“Luci” Lucifer cut in immediately
“What are you doing?” Larisa asked and Lucifer stopped
“Is it Wrong?” He asked,staring into her sad eyes
“What?” Larisa asked,sniffing
“If you’re no longer a maid,is it wrong?” He asked and Larisa almost couldn’t believe her ears,she kept on staring speechlessly
“Just quit and stay by my side instead…..please” he added,gaining a gasp from Larisa.
