Tatiana has a smile on his face as she went back to her room. She eavesdropped on the king’s meeting with the ministers of Maelstrom and she was so happy about the king’s decision.
“I should tell Cheng about it when I visit him tonight. He will be so happy that his father still cares for him” Tatiana said smiling and meets the palace head maid
“Someone looks happy today” The palace head maid said. She’s the head of the maids working in the palace and also the oldest among them.
Tatiana smiles and bows to her. “I have always been happy head maid” She said.
“I’m glad you are enjoying your stay here, before the evils of the earth begins” She said.
“Huh?” Tatiana muttered and the head maid beamed a smile at her.
“Is nothing Tatiana, Prince Waylon wishes to see you”. She said.
“Prince Waylon? Why?” Tatiana asked.
“The beauty granted to you by the heavens has enchanted him, but too bad a nice prince like him won’t get the one he seeks for” The head maid said.
“What are you talking about?” Tatiana asked.
“Don’t mind me Tatiana, you should go to his room. He’s waiting for you there” She said.
Tatiana bows to her and leaves and the head maid continues looking at Tatiana.

Tatiana arrived in Waylon’s chamber and Waylon smiles happily when he saw her.
“Greetings to you, your highness” Tatiana greeted bowing to him.
“Sit” He said, and Tatiana raised her head to look at him. “I should sit?” She asked, just t be sure, and Waylon nods his head smiling.
Tatiana looks around before sitting on the chair that was facing him.
“Why did you want to see me, your highness?” Tatiana asked.
“Because I just want to spend some time with you” He said.
“Huh? Is that allowed” Tatiana said.
“I’m the second prince of Maelstrom, so I can do what I want, and my father, the King is too nice to punish a maid just because she talked to one of the royal family. You can testify from how Narmada dresses and interacts with the maids” Waylon said.
Tatiana only nods her head, looking around and she sees a white rabbit inside a cage.
“Is that yours” She asked with a smile.
“Yes. I told you I love animals”.
“Is so cute. Can I take a look at it?” She asked.
“Just a second” Waylon said. He got up from the chair and went to where the cage was. He opens the cage and carries the white rabbit, giving it to Tatiana.
“It so beautiful” Tatiana said with a smile caressing the head of the rabbit, Waylon’s eyes was glued on her face.
“I like you” He said, making Tatiana dropped the rabbit.
“Huh?” She muttered with a surprise.
Waylon smiles and said. “I like your personality, that’s what I mean” He lies.
Tatiana smiles not realizing he was trying to hide his true feelings from her. “Thank you” She said. She picked up the rabbit, but the rabbit pinch her.
“Ouch” She muttered and Waylon quickly held her hand.
“Are you all right?” He asked.
“Yes I’m fine, is just a scratch” Tatiana said trying to take her hand from him, but Waylon held it tightly.
“Your hands are beautiful” He said caressing her hand, and Harlow enters the room.
“What’s going on here?” She said looking at Tatiana and she immediately h@tëd Tatiana, because she could see the beauty sparkling around her.
“Harlow” Waylon said.
“Who is she?” Harlow asked giving Tatiana a h@tëful glare.
“She is Narmada’s personal maid” Waylon answers.
“I will go ahead now, Your highness” She bowed to Waylon and leaves, Harlow had her eyes fixed on Tatiana, until she left the room completely.
“Why are you talking to a maid?” Harlow asked.
“And what’s so wrong with that?” Waylon asked back.
“Everything Waylon. You were even holding her hand, have you forgotten you are a prince and can’t be seen with a poor maid” Harlow said.
Waylon sighs and tries to leave, but Harlow held his wrist.
“Where are you going?” She asked.
“I’m not in the mood to talk to you, so I’m going to look after my flowers” Waylon said and leaves.
Harlow clenched her fingers angrily. “Who the heck is that girl? How on earth did she have such beauty?” Harlow asked herself, boiling in anger.

Tatiana was setting Narmada’s lunch when Harlow enters the kitchen and pushed her to the ground.
“What was that for?” Tatiana asked standing up from the ground.
“I don’t know how you have such beauty, but don’t use it on Waylon and stay away from him” Harlow said.
“I have no intentions of staying with Prince Waylon. I’m just a maid here” Tatiana said.
“That’s right. You’re noting but a common maid here in this palace, so know your place and stay away from Waylon” Harlow said.
“You can have him to yourself Lady Harlow. I won’t have been in his room if he didn’t ask for me” Tatiana said and Harlow push Tatiana to the floor again.
“Even if he calls for you, make excuses that you’re busy. My father is one of the respected Noble men in Maelstrom, so don’t mess with me, else you are going to dance to the beating of my music” Harlow said and walks away.
Tatiana was about standing up, when a hand offered to help, she looks at the person and sees Zelda smiling at her.
“I can get up on myself” She said and with that she stood up from the ground.
“I just wanted to help” Zelda said.
“Who are you?” She asked.
“I’m Zelda”
Tatiana laughs at the mentioned of his name. “Really? Your name is Zelda, That’s a girl name” She said laughing.
And Zelda smiles, admiring her beautiful face.
“That’s the name given to me by mother”.
“I see, no wonder you look girlish” She said smiling.
“But I have great fighting skills”
“Really?” She asked.
“Yes, that’s why I’m the king’s personal guard” Zelda said.
“Oh, I think I remember you now, you were the one who told me that the king needed to see me, right?” Tatiana asked and Zelda nods.
“Is nice talking to you again Zelda. I have to go now, Princess Narmada needs her lunch” She said.
“Alright Tatiana”.
Tatiana smiles and leaves, holding a tray.
“She’s beautiful” Zelda muttered and smiles.

“The King said that?” Queen Anjali asked her brother after he told her what the king said.
“Yes he did. I think he has no plans of exiling Cheng from Maelstrom”.
“This is all Queen Vanya’s fault, she is the one talking to him about letting Cheng remain in the palace” Queen Anjali said with indignation.
“But how did he become a demon? From what I remember, he was an innocent kid ten years ago” Akim said.
“He’s a cursed child, that’s the reason he became a demon” Queen Anjali said and sees Jai laughing with some servants.
She walks up to them and they bowed on seeing her. “Leave” She orders and the servants quickly left.
“Mother” Jai said.
“I thought I have told you never to talk to the palace servants again” She said.
“They were just telling me stories about Cheng” Jai said, and Queen Anjali slaps him.
“You are not allowed to mention that demon’s name, go to your study room and study”.
“But I’m not studying today, that’s why scholar Marcellus is not here in the palace” Jai said with a sad face.
“Wh@tëver, go and lie down in your room. Now!!” Queen Anjali yells at him and Jai reluctantly leaves.

⟨ NIGHT ≈ COTTAGE ⟩
Cheng hugs Tatiana immediately she arrived in the cottage.
“What’s wrong Cheng?” She asked breaking the hug, and Cheng shakes his head smiling.
“I thought you weren’t going to come” He said.
“Sorry. I was just waiting for everyone to go to bed” She said and Cheng hugs her again.
“I missed you” He said and Tatiana smiled.
“I missed you too” She said hugging him back tightly.
“I have somewhere to take you” Tatiana said, after she broke the hug.
“Where?” He asked.
“Just teleport us out of the palace and I’ll show you” She said smiling.
Cheng held her hand and both teleported.

“Where’s is this place Tiana?” Cheng asked as they walked around the garden.
“This was the place I took you to, ten years ago” Tatiana said.
“Really?” Cheng asked looking around the garden. The flowers were still fresh and beautiful.
“Yes. We only came here once, but it was memorable, you placed a Chinese flowers in my hair and said I looked like your bride and pecked my cheek” Tatiana said and smiles, remembering that day.
“I did?” Cheng asked again.
“Yes you did, too bad you can’t remember our childhood moment together” Tatiana said trying to walk to a flower, but Cheng held her by the wrist, and Tatiana looks at him.
Cheng plucked a part of a Chinese rose flower and insert it inside her hair.
“Let’s see if I can remember” He said and pulls her closer to himself, locking his lips on hers, with his free hands on her @$$, tasting the sweet flavors of her lips
