Anthony Campbell sat in his office starring at a old picture, he was so lost in thought that he didn’t hear the knock from the door until the person knocking walk into the room.
“Good evening sir” a man who had a harsh expression on his face greeted.
“If you are going to give me good news then start spilling but if you aren’t, I suggest you….”
“Have found her” the man with the harsh expression said quickly bringing Anthony gaze on him.
“Tell me more, Marcus” Anthony urged just as Marcus put a folder on his table.
“Turns out she’s been living here all this while and her daughter is definitely a student in royale college” Marcus replied.
“I knew it! That was why I enrolled Pierce there but the stupid boy is just wasting my precious time by not doing a thing” Anthony said.
“So do you want me to find out more about them or….”
“No. Your work is done here Marcus, you can leave” Anthony said giving him a cheque.
As soon as Marcus left, Anthony looked over the things Marcus brought and smiled.
“Now it’s up to me to do some thing ” he muttered starring at the picture once again.
“We are going to see each other soon, my love and this time I won’t let you go easily” he added still starring at the picture.

Pierce let out a sigh as he couldn’t sleep, it’s been hours since Joanna left and he couldn’t stop thinking about her.
She left thinking the worst of him, he didn’t mean to kiss her but having her close to him made him feel strange and he couldn’t control the impulse.
He still believes himself in love with Jocelyn, so why on earth did he kiss Joanna?
He was still brooding about it when the door open and a girl ran into the room.
“Excuse me for barging in but please I need some where to hide” she said searching for a place to hide.
“Then do that some where else” Pierce said but she wasn’t listening.
She went under his bed and came out immediately.
“They will definitely see me, you won’t mind if I stay here right?” She asked as she pulled back the sheets and got into it pulling the cover over herself.
“What are you doing?” Pierce asked.
“Please help me, if they find me then am dead meat” She said underneath the sheets.
“Who will find you and…..” He stop talking when the door open and two men in black walk into the room.
“Did a girl perhaps come into this room?” One of the men asked.
“Well…..as you can see, am the only one here” he replied pulling the sheets over himself and the girl properly.
“Really? If you do see a girl, then please don’t hesitate to call us” one of them said handing their card to him.
“I will” Pierce replied as he took the card and when they were gone, he pulled back the sheets to stare at the girl.
“Just what sort of trouble did you get yourself in ?” Pierce asked.
“Well I kind of listen in on their conversation and it turns out that those two men are gay, the worst part of it is that they are both married and being some one who couldn’t just sit back and watch them deceive their wives, I ended up spilling the whole thing to them”the girl said.
“And now you are running looking for help when you messed up their marriage?” Pierce asked.
“I just had to say it, I h@të cheating men” She replied.
“Then you might as well get out of my room, I came here to get treated not to get involved with you” Pierce said pushing her off his bed.
She landed on the floor on her butt before glaring up at him.
“That was harsh, I know it was meddle some for me interfering in their affair but then you have no right to judge me cause I did the right thing” She said getting off the floor.
‘”wh@tëver just leave my room, I need to get some sleep” Pierce said.
“I sure will, Jerk” she said turning to leave only to stop to stare at him.
“You won’t call those people right?” She asked.
“I have no interest in you or them whatsoever ” he said non chalantly.
“I hope so cause if you do call those men on me, am gonna come back for you and I sure will snap off your tongue” she threatened before leaving his room.
“Did she just threaten me?” Pierce ask no one in particular.
“Ungrateful wretch ” He added and at that moment, the door open to reveal the girl again.
“Am not an ungrateful wretch! Stupid” she called before shutting his door.
What was that? How come she heard him when he only whispered that part to himself? He thought as he lay back on his bed.
