“I finally found you” David said hugging her tightly

With a shocked look on her face, Danica tried pulling away from the hug but he held her tightly, pressing her body against his chest
“Just a little longer please, have been searching for you all over the city,” he mumbled, his eyes closed as he inhaled her Lavender scent, it was just so sweet for him
“Let me go,” Danica shouted, forcefully pulling herself away from him
He still didn’t let go
“The lady said you should let her go,” they both heard a voice from behind and he quickly let go of her
“You,” Danica shouted shocked, the same guy that dropped her off the other day, right? So what is he doing at her place?
she has a confused look on her face, staring at him as if demanding an answer
“Excuses me, who are you?” David asked staring at Alex
He totally ignored Danica’s question
Alex brought out her badge pushing it forward to his face
“FBI,” she replied, she has that straight look on her face and one would think she came for a fight

David looked at Danica one last time before walking away, Alex walked over to Danica who was still staring at David
“Are you alright? Joy said you called,” Alex said softly

As if Danica’s memories were restored she ran back inside and Alex followed her instantly, she saw Donovan by the door and her jaw dropped
“Give me a hand, come on,” Alex shouted, already trying to gett Donovan up but mehn, she couldn’t do it alone
They finally succeeded in taking him to his room and Alex didn’t waste a second as she tore his shirt open, just then Laura and a lady came in
“Laura, you’re here,” Danica said immediately after they came in but her gaze was fixed on the lady
Walking over to Donovan the lady dropped her bag by the bedstand and made to touch him but Danica quickly blocked her way
“She’s a doctor,” Laura said and Danica moved out of the way
“You don’t have male doctors?” she asked in a jealous tone, her gaze still fixed on the lady
“umm mm…”
“Thought you were crying not long ago?” Alex cut in sharply

After a few seconds, the Dr stood by the door ready to go and Laura was also beside her
“He will be fine, there is nothing to worry about cos he was only knocked out with a hard drug but what happened to him anyway? Why the stabs? Did he involve in a fight?” she said, all in one word
Danica raised a brow

“How should I know?” she return the question and rolled her eyes
“I shall take my leave now,” Laura said walking away with the lady
Alex looked at Danica, watching as she wipe tears from her eyes
“Cry baby,” she muttered and Danica rolled her eyes
“Stop it,” Danica rolled her eyes again
Alex chuckled going closer, she crossed her hand around Danica’s shoulder holding her tightly
“Please don’t send George away, Joy is gonna be mad,” Alex said, Danica tried to free her hold on her but she held her tightly
“Seems everyone is stronger than me, I will register for judo training,” she said, her hand holding that of Alex’s own as she tried to free her hold on her
“It’s not part of your job description,” Alex said touching her cheeks
They are now at the doorstep
“Danica baby please…..”
“What Alex? You want me to subpoena you instead so you could do the talking?” Danica asked, crossing her hand on her chest
Alex quickly let go of her
“I’m not gonna lie on the stand and go to jail, come on Danica, if you send me to jail I could lose my job, my pension, my Ďïčks, my destiny, f**cking is what I was born to do and if I go there its game over for me, I will never fulfill my destiny of riding Cöçk!!” Alex said staring at her
She roughed her hair and looked at Danica who was silent
“Please don’t do this to me, I know I should have told you…..”
“Yeah, you should,” Danica cut in sharply

“A confidential personal gave the files to the FBI, George’s name will never be mentioned, Happy now?” She said gently
Alex’s face beamed with smiles, taking her hand to her mouth she began to blow her K!SSes

{NEW ENERGY HOSPITALS ~~10:15PM}
Joy is currently done with today’s work, she was so tired, even with her walking step one could confirm it, just when she was about to enter the elevator Brandon showed up.
“Dr joy, you have to come with me now,” he said more like yelling
Joy looked at him wondering what happened, she has never seen him act this way before
“What happened Brandon?” she asked walking into the emergency room
She looked at the person laying lifelessly on the small bed and her eyes widened
“It’s exactly what you’re thinking about? Nathan Brooks get involved in a fight and whoever did this to him needs to be jailed, just look at his face, his body is filled with stabs, the person even fractured his jaw, dislocated his left leg, and slice his face like toast bread,” Brandon said pointing at all the wounds
Joy was terrified
“So, right now I want you….”
“Hold it right there,” she suddenly snapped, her hand stretched forwards with a squeezed face

“What do you mean? If we don’t help him he’s gonna die,” Brandon shouted at her
“Are you high? You see someone that’s near death and you’re telling me that has been working since morning to attend to him, what use are you if you can’t…..”
“What kind of a doctor rejects work? If you’re too tired to be a doctor why not resign,” Brandon said cutting it
Joy glared at him
“We have over 50 professional doctors in this big hospital, over a hundred nurses besides he needs the surgical team not me, and guess what? I’m going home,” Joy snarled walking out

“Then fire me!!!” Joy yelled at them, stopping by the door she glared hard at the nurses, her heart racing faster as if she wanted to kill
“Dr. Philip in my office now,” the vice president of the hospital said from behind and she turned around and followed him without saying a word

“Why are you so stubborn?” Rex asked staring at her
He is currently sitting on his desk with his hands resting on the table
Joy was silent
“Am I talking to a wood or somebody?” he asked, standing on his feet, Rex walked over to joy who leaned against the wall
She took in her lower lips and gulped nothing, Joy suddenly felt his hand on her hair as he removed the hair ribbon, her hair scattered all over, lifted her eyes she stared at his face only to see him staring at her
Rex immediately withdraws his hand
“Go home, I will do it,” he said shifting back a little
“But sir…..”
“You know my name Joy I’m not as old as your president,” he quickly corrected
She gulped and lowered her head again
“You’re acting like an annoying boyfriend,” she mumbled under her breath but he heard her
“You think am annoying?” Rex asked, he chuckled and went closer
She gulped again and kept quiet, just then the door opened and Rex’s girlfriend came in, Rex maintained his stand cos they were just a few meters away from each other
“Go home, get some rest,” he added and turned to his girlfriend
“Yes sir,” Joy replied and left, not without getting a deadly glare from Kristin (Rex’s girlfriend)
