Daisy sat in front of the mirror starring at her self.
Sheathe in a white short dress and with her make up fix couples with a little bouquet of flower which she dangle right on her fingers, she stared at herself in the mirror.
Why is this happening to her? She thought as she look away from the mirror.
She thought of escaping but remembering his threat got her staying put until he came into the room.
He had also changed into his wedding attire and he appraised her with weary eyes even as he walk towards her.
“Fit enough for the part. Now smile, a smile will complete it all” he said.
“You can’t expect me to do that when I feel nothing but great sorrow” she said.
” A bride is meant to think of her wedding as the most greatest day of all and I will try to make it that way for you but if you keep on thinking it as a day of sorrow then I have no choice but to let you keep on believing” he said.
“Now come along, it’s time for us to get married” he said taking hold of her and together they both left the room to get married.
The judge and two people she had no idea of were waiting for them and in no time they made their vow and were both married.
When it was time to kiss the bride, She moved her face away when his lips wanted to touch hers but then he smiled and whispered into her ear.
“There will be the wedding night, then you won’t be able to escape from me” he said and that got her starring at him.
When the judge and the two witness left, he came to meet her putting a dress on the bed.
“Get change, we’ve got to go some where ” he said.
“Where are we going?” Daisy asked doubtfully.
“You will know soon” he said walking out of the room to give her the privacy she needs.
A while later, he stopped in front of a building and turn towards her.
“The part of you playing the part of my wife starts now. The people we are going in to meet are shrewd and thorough. They will try to pry and try to get answers from you but don’t say a thing, leave it all to me and just be a docile wife” he said.
“That’s like being a puppet” she muttered only for him to smile.
“You are one”he replied lightly tapping her on the cheek.
“I won’t be used this way” she said softly.
“You have no choice, Daisy. come along” he said taking hold of her hand and pulling her inside.
As they both walk in some employees were startled to see him while some had a grin on their faces but he didn’t seem to pay them much attention.
They were both the elevator which was whisking them to the top floor when he said.
“Most of them are surprised at seeing me here,after all they’ve all considered me blind and useless and the people we are going to meet right now feels the same way” he explained and when she was about to speak, the elevator door opened and she walked out with him.
“Mr King! We weren’t expecting you” one of the secretary said as she came to him.
“I wanted to surprise everyone. After all they are talking about my dismissal in there. Do me a favour Loveth, keep my wife company. I come back to get her” Oliver said while the girl open her eyes wide in shock.
“Your wife?”
“Yes. You see, she’s manage to hook my heart that I don’t think I can bear to live with out her” Oliver said starring at her with loving eyes.
He sure do know how to sweet talk people, she thought as sat up in her seat.
“I will come back for you and then you’ve got to put up your best act. Am really counting on you for this” Oliver said suddenly starring at her with desperate eyes.
Daisy found herself nodding even when that’s the last thing she wanted to do.

It took Monica a while but when she finally realized that Lewis wasn’t taking her home, she sat up on his bike and waited for him to stop before asking him.
“Where are we?” She asked.
“Some where to relax” Lewis said.
“But you said you are going to take me home” she insisted refusing to get off his bike.
“And I will but first you need to relax and unwind” he said.
“Why must I do that?” Monica asked.
“Cause I can see you need it and you will be the first am bringing to my hide out” he said.
“I don’t think I want to…..what are you doing” she ask when he lifted her off the bike.
“Have you ever had coffee in a luxury hotel while standing by your balcony gazing out at the beautiful sunset?” He asked suddenly and she shake her head.
“Then you need to do it” he said taking hold of her hand.
“I don’t want to go to an hotel room with you ” Monica said suddenly stopping him in his tracks but his answer was to give her a smile.
He pulled her on and they went into an hotel, an expensive one at that.
She knew Lewis is rich and all but does he that much money to enable him to book a room in such a place.
She was about protesting when he walk past the reception desk and straight to the coffee maker.
He bought one for her and for himself and again took her to the elevator where he pressed the top button.
They got to the building roof top and walk to the railing which was used to protect everyone from falling.
“What do you think? Does it feel like a five star luxury to you?” He asked sipping his coffee and Monica couldn’t help but to smile.
The sun was just setting putting out a lovely view to the city and the
lights from people apartment was starting twinkle out giving a beautiful glow and the air which was wafting towards her was quite calm and relaxing.
She sighed in contentment and move close to where Lewis was sipping her coffee.
“It is” she said with a smile on her face.
“Now enjoy the view while it lasts cause am not gonna charge you” he said.
“Tch! Even if you charge me am not gonna pay” she replied with enthusiasm as her mind went away from Daisy and Oliver for a while.
It was a while later that he drove her back to her house.
She got off the bike and pulled off his helmet.
“Thanks for today” she muttered.
“Am glad I could help, you seem sad and so I made it my mission to make you happy” he said but somehow that got Monica thinking.
“Well….. thanks ” she added again waiting for him to take the helmet from her hands but instead he took hold of her hand.
“Can we do this again?” He asked.
“Uh?”
“I know about the rumour of you and Prince dating but the thing is that…..”
“Let’s go” Prince said suddenly taking hold of Monica other hand.
“But am still talking to her” Lewis said holding onto her hand.
“And I am her boyfriend. I want to talk to her and am going to ” Prince said glaring at Lewis.
And pulling Lewis hand off Monica, he pulled her towards his car and after getting her into it, he got into the passenger seat and drove off leaving Lewis watching them.
