Khole kept running non-stop heading to Fransisco’s class. She badged into the class and luckily met Francisco reading a heavy supernatural novel on his table.
“Hey!” She nudged his shoulder.
He was frightened at the way Khole breathed.
“What’s the problem Khole!” He asked half yelling.
“It happened again,they came again” She said and he understood immediately.
Instantly he felt a pain in his chest, like fire burning in it. He held it and grunted. He started bleeding from his nose, shortly after he fainted.
This has always happened constantly. Whenever the wizards attacked the city, he bleeds from his nose and collapses.

A large bell at the middle of the palace rang violently signifying food time. Queen Lazebel made it mandatory that only a meal square should be provided to the slaves.
The slaves would also have to pay a price of getting flogged to access the food.
The slaves lined up with wooden plates in their hands and they went turn by turn.
A big pot of boiled corn was set at the middle while four palace armies stood beside it with long horse whips.
As the slave ran to scoop the food into their plates, whips landed on their back. Some ended up not taking anything or some fell while trying to run.
Alessia was almost close and her heart beat increased. The whip she received from the princess was still fresh and adding another to it would worsen it.
“One… two…three” She counted and raced down there. She scoop just a spoon and had already received four strokes.
They were hot and pepper ish.
She ran to the backyard to eat peacefully, when she stumbled on a stone and fell down. The contents was emptied on the floor and tears bursted out of her eyes.
She squatted while crying,then her stomach rumbled violently.

Fransisco opened his eyes slowly,he looked at the ceiling and the smell of the environment told him where he was.
He was in the school bay receiving treatments.
He turned to his right side and saw his sister resting her head on the bed.
He tapped her shoulder and her eyes opened.
“Fransisco you’re awake. You fainted again” She said.
“I did?” He asked.
“Immediately I told you about the attack you screamed about a chest pain and blacked out” She explained fondling his hands.
“This constantly happens whenever the attack takes place and I don’t know why”
“You can make research then. Since you’re a lover of supernatural stories you can possibly know the reason behind your sudden illness” Khloe said shoving her hair behind her ear.
Fransisco nodded his head.
“Mom just called,she has been discharged” Khole said with an alluring smile.
Fransisco’s face brightens up.
“Really!! I need to get home so I can apologize for hitting her in the chest” He said bowing his head sadly.
“It’s okay little bro” She ruffled his hair.
