Poppy forced her led opened..the light shone into her eyes,,she closed it quickly,, before opening it again by then her eyes have adjusted to the brightness of the light..
She looked around,,staring at the unfirmilair environment..
She tried moving her eyes but then the drip fixed on her hands,, dragging her back to the back ..
“ heck !! She Mõ@ned in pain ..
Then it became down on her that she was in the hospital..
“ what am I doing here?? How did i get here ?? She thought,,but pursed when yesterday’s event replayed on her head ..
“ what could have been wrong me ? Why did I faint ?! She thought..then she began to here murmurs from outside the room ..
“ she’s a week and two weeks pregnant!! But how is that possibly?? It was just once right ?? Poppy heard her father said from outside..
“ what !! Me pregnant?? They might be joking…I should go outside and see things for my self ..poppy thought.. pulling off the drip fixed on her ..
“ lower your voice sir !! The patient might hear you ,,,you and I knows that can be very risky!! I will advise you keep it from her for he main time ,,since she’s still very week !! The doctor advised..
“ seriously!! Poppy asked walking out of the room leaving everyone shocked,, including her mom who was laying on her father’s hands panting like a lizard that fell from a tree ,,,her breathing was getting more intense due to the shock !!
“ it not what you think !! Actually we were discussing!!!!….the doctor tried to explain but poppy cut him off .
“ Oh spare me that ÇOçk and bull story!! I heard everything for crying out loud!! Do you think lieing about it will make me fell better? No !! It will only worsen the pain in my heart ,,,it will only shorten my life span ,,,am dieing slowly!! Am fed up …I just fell like killing myself!!! Poppy cried out..As tears stream down her pretty face ..
By now the nurses had Already placed her mom on the stretcher,,,
Her dad walked towards her,, without uttering a a word ,,he dragged her to himself hugging her tightly to his broad chest..
“ It okey princess!! You don’t have to say that,,!! Di you think your mom and I would survive if anything should happen to you ?? Of course no !! All hope is not lost right??He comforted ..
Poppy nodded her head positively sniffing in her tears ..
“Indeed all hope is not lost ,, besides Clifford loves her ,,and wouldn’t even think twice before tieing the knot with her ..but still ,,, what about her career??? How would she cope being a mother at such a young age..she’s just twenty for crying out loud,,,and to top it all she’s still a student!! .. this was not what she bagained. .
The thought alone was making her break into another round of tears ….
Slowly he pulled her from the hug wiping her tears with hie finger ,,, while gently patting her hair ..
“ do you wanna stay here ?? Or should I take you home ?? He asked caressing her fist ..
“ that mine to say for now !! But if you want to take her home ..but you should make sure she does’nt stress her self ,, cause the pregnancy is still in it’s early age …
“ you don’t have to tell me that !! Just go prepare a discharge papers,,leave the rest for me ,!!
