A few days later, Miss Ji-ho was taking science, and they were enjoying her class except for Baek-Hyun who was doing everything possible to get her attention, he was picky on Chan-yeol when Ji-ho saw him.
“Baek-Hyun! What are you doing?” she asked and the class turned in his direction.
“Nothing Miss Ji-ho”. he replied smiling and adjusting his seat.
” Don’t interrupt my class again”. she warned, Baek-Hyun nodded and returned to her teaching, but not too long after he caught him again distracting her class. ” Baek-Hyun!” she called angrily and he stood up. “Please leave my class, go to the teacher’s office, and tell any teacher you meet there, why you have been sent out of class”.
” Okay, Miss Ji-ho”. he said with all confidence and his friends were surprised at him. he walked towards Ji-ho and gave her a wink before leaving the class. She stared surprisedly at him and then resumed her teaching. A few minutes later miss Ji-ho was done with her teaching for the day, she came to the teacher’s office and was surprised to see Beak-Hyun alone in the office staring out from the window with his hands in his pocket she was enchanted by status, quickly, she shakes it off her head.
“What are you doing here?”. she asked as she placed her book on her desk, Baek-Hyun turned to her smiling.
“You ask me to come here, remember?”.
“I did, didn’t you see any teacher here? Didn’t they give you the punishment?”. she asked and Baek-Hyun moved a little closer to her.
” I was waiting for you” he smirked. “But don’t get me wrong, no teacher was here, so I decided to wait for you” ” He winked at her.
” Are you flirting with me?” she asked and Beak-Hyun scoffed.
“Do you want me to?”. he teases and she scoffs.
” Why were you disturbing my class earlier?”. She crossed her arms around her Brë@št.
“Because I wanted your attention” ” He pushed closer to her and both faces were inches apart, She pushed backward and her back rested on the table and she gulped nervously. ” Are you nervous?”. he smirks.
“Leave this office”. she said.
“Why? Don’t you want to punish me anymore?”.
“Leave now or I will report you to the school Authority”. she threatened and he scoffed.
“Really? What are you going to tell him?”. he laughs and tries to touch her hair, suddenly they hear footsteps and he pushes back and composes himself as two teachers walk in.” am sorry Miss Ji-ho, Please don’t punish me, I promise not to do it again”. he said with his head bow to the ground, Ji-ho was surprised at his sudden behavior and the rest teachers stare at him.
“Beak-Hyun, what did you do? This is the first time I have seen you here”. Mrs.Ye-jun 예준 (This name means “talented” and “handsome”) teaches maths and always tries to know everything that goes around the school.
” I wonder too” Miss Seo-Jun 서준. (This name means “auspicious” and “handsome). She teaches economics and she has had a series of heartbreaks.
“Miss Ji-ho asked me to come here because I was disturbing her teaching”. he said innocently and the teacher pitied him.
” Miss Ji-ho, please forgive him, Beak-Hyun is a good and intelligent boy, for our sake”. Mrs. Ye-jun pleaded
“Yes, he won’t do it again”. Miss Seo-jun added and Ji-ho sighed.
” Okay, no problem, I will let him go”. she said, and Baek-Hyun smiled and took her hand quickly.
“Thank you, thank you,”. he said feeling her hand tenderly Ji-ho was caught off guard because it was sending shivering to her body, She raised her face to him and saw him winking at her, Without the rest teachers noticing them because they were already in their seats, she withdrew her hand from his quickly and move to her seat.” thank you miss Ji-ho”. He bows and leaves.
“Such a dazzling boy, I wish I was at his age, I would have made him my boyfriend”. miss Seo-jun said smiling.
“Of course, everybody wants him”. Mrs Ye-jun said and Ji-ho stared at them and returned to her book.
The next day, Baek-Hyun was practicing a basketball game with his friends and some other students, other students came to watch most especially the girls, they were busy chatting and staring amazingly at him when Miss Ji-ho passed by, she stopped to take a look, she was all focused on Baek-Hyun and was starting to drool over him, she quickly regains herself.
“What is wrong with you? Why are you drooling over your student?”. she sighs at her thoughts.
Meanwhile, Baek-Hyun has been staring at her, Immediately their eyes meet, he winks at her and she rushes off quickly. Chan-yeol noticed him smiling and staring at the entrance of the door.
” Baek-Hyun focus! What are you smiling at?”. he asked and he quickly regained himself and joined them back in the game. When Baek-Hyun scores, all the girls will scream in amusement.

Baek-Hyun was having dinner with his family.
“Son, your teacher called me today”. Mr.Dae-jung said and Baek-Hyun raised his face to him

“Why Dad?”
“He said your scores in science are not encouraging, you need to improve on it”. he said and Baek-Hyun let out a deep sigh.
“Is that true son? Why didn’t you tell us earlier to get a private tutor for you”. Mrs. I-jun asked.
“Well, I strive to improve more on it on my own, but it wasn’t working “. he replied.
” is never too late to back out son, I will find you a private tutor to take you on that, is that understood?”. he asked smiling.
“Yes, Father”. he replied and they continued with their meal.
In a little apartment, Ji-ho came out of the bathroom cleaning her hair with a dry towel. She is living alone, her family is far away from her, and She has a lot of responsibilities to take of, She came to this city to look for a job in other to take care of her family and herself, Her mother is battling with cancer and she needs medical treatment before it gets to the highest stages. Ji-ho has been trying her best to meet up with her mother’s medication that’s why she is looking for an extra morals class to teach to earn more money, she has been searching online for a part-time job and also seeking from her neighbors if they can help her with any information if someone is seeking for a part-time worker and she has also informed her friends too Su-Ho 수호 (This name in Korean means guardian). They met a year ago when she was new in town and wanted a place to live, She was an angel in a human form, and Su-Ho was the one that took her in and made her live with her as long as she wanted until she finally found her own. Su-Ho works in a cafeteria, and she is helping her family and her only son with the money she is making in the cafeteria, although she gets plenty of tips from her customers. She divorced her husband six months ago because he beat and treated her like trash, The court was in her favor as she won the custody of the child. Ji-ho sat in front of her computer searching for a part-time job when suddenly her phone rang, it was her mother that was calling, she smiled and picked it up.
📞”Hello, Mom, how are you doing?…….am fine, how is everyone over there? hope you are taking your medication……. don’t worry mom, by this month end I will send you money for your medication….(she chuckles) alright mom, take care of yourself, bye”. She hung up and then Su-Ho’s message came through and she read it saying she has good news for her tomorrow, that she should meet her at the cafeteria during her closing hour, She smiled and dropped the phone on the table, closed her laptop, and drifted to sleep.
The next day, during the free period, Baek-Hyun and his friends were at their private inns in the school chatting.
“Really? You are getting a private tutor”. Chan-yeol asked amazingly.
“Yes, I need to improve on my science, I don’t want to be a mockery in the school”. he said.
“That’s good”. Byung-ho said. They went quiet for a while.
“So, Baek-Hyun, what is with you and Miss Ji-ho? Do you like her?” Chan-yeol asked.
“Chan-yeol, do you want to spend the rest of your day scrubbing the toilet “. Baek-Hyun threatened.
” Why? Is it because I am telling the truth, you and I know you are into Miss Ji-ho, don’t deny it “. he said smiling.
” he is right though, your attitude this day has changed, whenever she is taking our class, you always like to distract her lessons”. Byung-ho said, “Do you feel attracted to her?”.
” Maybe” he smiled and Chan-yeol snapped.
“I told ya! My instincts were right, after all, you like Miss Ji-ho”. chan-yeol said.
” So, you like her, why were you denying it at first …. but, why her? There are other pretty girls around your age you can be attracted to, why miss Ji-ho, You know she is older than you”. Byung-ho asked and Baek-Hyun sighed.
“I don’t have the answers to all these questions, Byung-ho, I just see myself falling for her, she is so pure and innocent, she is different from all the other girls, I always feel this excitement in me whenever I see her or draw close to her, I can’t explain how I feel about her”. he said.
” The answer is that you are in love with her”. Chan-yeol said.
“Exactly, but I don’t think this is love, I think it is lost, you are lost by her beauty and nothing more”. Byung-ho said.
“Of course not, There is something that is drawing me closer to her, and I don’t know what it is “.
” Maybe he is your soulmate”. chan-yeol tease.
“Well, I have to find out”. He smirks staring at one place.
After closing hours, Ji-ho went to Su-Ho in the cafeteria, it was her break time, so they sat down outside the cafeteria to have a warm coffee.
” Su-Ho what is the good news you wanted to tell me about”. Ji-ho asked.
“Well, is a job offer,” she said and Ji-ho brightened up her face.
“Really?, Su-Ho,”.
” Yes, and it’s a perfect one for, is a part-time job”.
“Wow, where did you find it?” she asked excitedly.
“Relax, a colleague of mine told me that his uncle’s friend is looking for a private tutor for his son”.
” Really? Oh my gosh, this is so amazing”.
“Yeah, so she asked me if I knew of anyone that would be available for it, and I said yes”.
“Wow Su-Ho, thank you very much”.
“You don’t need to thank me”. she brought out a complimentary card.” This is her uncle’s card she gave to me, you can give him a call and tell him you are in for the job”. she added.
“Thank you so much Su-Ho, I don’t know what I would do without you”.
“You are always welcome, now grab this opportunity”. she smiled.
“I will, I owe you one lunch “. they chuckle.
” Sure you do”. They take a sip from their coffee and continue chatting and giggling.
