Mr and Mrs Opal sat in their bedroom discussing on how to bring Arlette back home
“Don’t you think it’s time to bring her home. It’s 5 years already. She needs to know why she got betrothed to him”. Mr Opal said moving close to her husband who laid on the bed
“I’ve been thinking about that lately. Do you have any idea of when she could be?”. He asked and she shook her head
“Why don’t we call Reggie’s parent. His son might have idea of where she lives”. She said and he looked at her suspiciously

“They attend the same school. So it’s certain he might have seen her”. She replied and he didn’t take his eyes off her
“How did you know all this? Have you been spying on her? We promised we aren’t gonna do that”. He said sitting up
“I wasn’t spying on her. I thought of checking out the school to be sure. I’ve actually been checking from one college to another hoping to see her but I didn’t till I got to that school”. She explained while he shook his head in disbelief
“Why are you suddenly looking for her?”. He asked folding his arms
“And why the questions?”. She replied with a question while he sighed
“Something is definitely wrong with you. You told her to leave this house if she declined the engagement and she did quietly”. He said and she smiled
“It’s not a bad thing to look for my only child or is it?”. She fired and he nod his head positively while she rolled her eyes at him
“Then it’s obvious you are not okay”. She said again as she stood up. She hissed loudly before storming out of the room

Mr Langley walked in like someone who just got rejected. He looks so rough and dirty coupled with the fact that he recks of alcohol. He collapse on the chair his wife sat on and she stood up immediately
She hissed and sat on another chair changing the channel. He hiccupped and puke on the couch while she groaned in disgust
She stood up and walked to the kitchen not wanting to see him do Sh|t
Carl desended the stairs slowly thinking of the perfect way to take down the embarrassing news
He saw his dad acting weird on the couch. He increased his pace and squat beside him. He raised him by the shirt and he quickly released his clothes rubbing his hand with his dad clothes
He heard his name from the kitchen and he hurriedly walked to the kitchen. He met his mum leaning on the fridge with hers arms folded
“What the Fuçk is wrong with that old man?”. Carl asked staring at the door then his mum
“Why didn’t you ask him when you saw him like that? It’s obvious he is drunk”. She replied and he shook his head in pity
“So any progress?”. She asked and he sighs before speaking up
“I’m still working on it. It’s just so difficult to bring down and besides some of them might have the videos on their phones which will be more difficult to delete”
“Can’t we just cook up a lie or something to the press?”. She asked and he shook his head
“We can’t mum. It’s will add to the embarrassment because her face was clearly displayed in that awful video. I don’t know what to do right now”. Carl said and their phone dinged at the same time
They exchanged glance before bringing out their phone at the same time
