After our night of passionate lovemaking , Dylan pulled me in his arms a bright smile played on my lips lazily as he kissed my forehead I drifted into sleep .
I heard Dylan phone ring and I groaned slowly as I turned to get a better position to sleep.
” What the Füçk is going on ” I heard him groan in frustration as he picked the call with a sleepy voice .
” Sh!t ” He cursed under his breath making me snap my eyes immediately as I looked in his direction , Wondering if everything was okay.

” Joy what’s wrong ? I asked as I sat up ,the sheets dropping to my waist as I watched him wear his shorts while looking for a shirt .
” Harmony and Emelio’s baby is on the way ” He said and my eyes widened.
” Like right now ? It’s 2am ” I said in shock .
” I’m coming with you ” I added said as I got down and wore my room slippers.
I was anxious already and I’m not even in the hospital yet .
” Jewel …” He trailed with concern .
” I know it’s your family issue Dylan ,but I wanna be there too . Harmony is a good friend ” I said and his look softened immediately as he gave a nod .
” Go get dressed ” He said and I could feel his eyes on me the entire time as I changed into his shirt and sweatpants .
We left for the De Luca hospital together .
” How is she ? ” Dylan asked his brother Fred ,And he gave a nod .
” She’s still inside man …Emelio is loosing it so Massimo took him to the garden area for a bit .
” She’s still inside ? For how long ? I asked unable to hide my concern.
” Oh …Cora ” Fred said in suprise as his raked my outfit, probably connecting the dots on why I was wearing Dylan’s outfit .
” It’s been a while now ,I can’t tell ” He said and Dylan took a deep breath in and out .
Emelio Sergio and The Don walked back together and .
Emelio looked really Disturbed .
” Where’s Grace ? Fred asked And Massimo rubbed his forehead.
” She’s inside with Harmony and Neomi .” He said And in that moment the Doctor walked towards us .
” How is she ? How is my wife ? Emelio asked in pannick.
” Calm down Mr De Luca , your wife is fine and so are the Boys ” The doctor said And Emelio’s Countenance changed to one peace and relief .
“Congratulations The De Luca family have welcome Triplets ” He announced and the Don laughed in Joy .
” Three Boys ? Wow I’m a grandmother Again ” I Heard Their mother’s happy voice and a smile grew on my lips.
They all looked so Happy and relieved.
Emelio went in to see his wife ,while every other person excused them .
I watched him kiss her forehead from the glass doors and bend to kiss their Beautiful babies ,my eyes stung with happy tears .
I was genuinely happy for Harmony and Emelio , because they deserve it after everything they’ve been through together .
But I couldn’t help the ache in my heart . Everyone had that happiness in the De Luca family.
Something I will never be able to give Dylan. Don’t I deserve true happiness after everything I’ve been through ? I wondered as I hugged my arms .
I turned and as my eyes met Dylan laughing, his family .
My heart ached , I found my way to the restroom and I couldn’t help it as different thoughts filled my mind again .

His words filled my mind as I burst out crying .

I hugged myself close as I broke down completely.
I splashed water on my face and stared into the mirror .
I frowned at the Swell beneath my eyes .
I hope Dylan doesn’t notice.
My phone rang and I brought it out of my pocket as I placed it on my ear.
” My crown ” I said immediately I picked up .
” Where are you Cora ? I’ve been looking for you everywhere” he said with concern.
” I …I’m coming” I said and he fell silent immediately.
‘ Tell me where you are, I’m to get you ” He said and I walked out of the Restroom.
” Answer me Gioia Mia ” he said and I noticed he was standing close to the restroom.
” Right behind you ” i muttered under my breath and he turned .
” Are you okay ? He asked as he walked over to where I stood.
” Yeah I’m fine ” I said softly.
” Füçk ,that’s why I didn’t want you to come ,my joy ,I was scared it’ll trigger you ” he said and I looked at him in shock wondering how he found out so fast .
” How….” I trailed .
” You’re not as strong as you think you are ,when it comes to matters concerning me Cora . ”
” I love you ,you’re Beautiful ,strong ,Bold …..and worth a lot more than you think .”
” The fact that a doctor’s report says otherwise doesn’t change a thing. If we are destined to have one. Fine ,if we aren’t it’s still fine .
” I love ,trust and adore you and that’s all that matters my priceless jewel ” he said and I burst out crying as he pulled me in his arms .
” I love you too Dylan …” I said as my heart warmed up immediately.
I don’t know how but it didn’t hurt as much as how it did when I use to fight my Demons alone .
I had Dylan now and he was mending the broken parts of my soul without pushing it .
He was taking every step of healing with me and I’ve never felt more foolish for pushing this amazing soul away.
” We are going home after this ” he said and my jaws literally just dropped.
” But the ….” I trailed .
” Listen to me jewel ..I’d just text Sergio . C’mon ” he said and I frowned.
” Now I’m feeling bad ” I said and he chuckled.
” You don’t have to , everything is fine over here. They won’t let anyone see the mother and child , accept Emelio . It’s passed their visiting hours ” He Explained and I gave a nod .
We went back to the mansion and I slept soundly .
The next morning ,my phone rang and it was Santo .
” Hello Crisanto” i said picking the call immediately as i wore my shoes properly.
” You said you’d call. ..Cora and you haven’t . We need to talk about the business and a lot has been going on .plus I miss you ” he said and I rubbed my forehead.
” I’m stopping over your office so we can talk about the business ,have you heard from my aunt ? Any news ” I asked professionally.
” She hasn’t called for a while ,how about lunch together ? He asked again .
” I’d see you Crisanto” I said and cut the call .
How do I make him understand over and over again that I don’t want any relationship especially not the one he’s hoping we would get one day .
” Hey Jewel ” Dylan said as he kissed my neck from behind .
” Going out ? I asked Quietly.
” The Don and I are going out for a business meeting ,you should be Careful and have fun ” he said and I chuckled.
” Suit huh ? I teased as I checked him out .

” Agreed Mr De Luca ” I said and he laughed .
” Where exactly are you and the Don going to ? I asked with concern for an unknown reason ,I wasn’t comfortable about the outing.
” Something that doesn’t require your services ,my love ” he said and I frowned.
” Tell me about it ” I said and he laughed.
” It’s confidential ” He said and I gave a nod , letting it slide .
” How about we go out for dinner later tonight ? He asked and I chuckled.
” He wants to be a romantic boyfriend” I teased .
” I’m always romantic,it’s my girlfriend that needs romance lessons ” He said and my jaws literally dropped as he burst out laughing.
” I’d get back at you ” i said and he slapped my A*s playfully as he strolled out of the room.

This man is something else . I went to check on the Donna for before leaving for Santiago’s office .
” You look stunning baby girl ” she said as she dropped some files on the table .
” Thanks ,how is Harmony and the babies ” I asked and she chuckled.
” Good ,the De Luca’s are dealing with her …they already started Brë@šts milk immediately they entered the World , …I handled twin De Luca boys and I thought I will loose my mind
” She said reffering to her Twin boys .
” Talk more of male triplets,she’d be needing all the energy in the world ” she said and I smiled.
” So …you and Dylan huh , I always knew it. The spark was just too much between you two ” she laughed.
” I’m still scared I’d Füçk this up ,or my dreaded past or ….” I trailed .
” Hey look at me ” she said and held my hand.
” Everyone has Füçked up in one way or the other babe ,life itself isn’t all roses but filled with thorns too . It’s Roses and thorns babe” she said and tears rolled outta my eyes as I chuckled.
” The most important thing is when Dylan looks at you ,he doesn’t push you away for your scars ,he takes all of you and love you Regardless . Take that and make it your strength” she said and pulled me in a hug .
I left her office and went straight for my meeting with Santo
” Hey babe ” he said as I walked in .
” Santo ” I said under my breath as he walked over to me and engulfed me in a bone crashing hug.
” God ,Cora I’ve missed you so much ” I said and I froze immediately.
” Santo …I need to breath ” I said and he frowned .
” Sorry ” he muttered under his breath.
” You’re so beautiful and … different” he said making me frown ..
” How ? I asked as I sat down .
” Happy ” he said and I raised my eyebrows.
He sat at the opposite side as his darkened.
” What’s that on your neck ? He asked softly with an heartbroken look on his face .
” What ? I asked as I raised my phone to check .
I bit my lip when my eyes met Dylan’s love bite .
” Is that what I think it is ? He asked his voice breaking at the edge.
” Let’s not talk about this Santo you’re only gonna end up hurt ” I said trying to stay calm .
” Hurt ? Do you even care Cora or you’re saying that because you don’t want me to …” He trailed .
” Crisanto, I told you from the start ” I muttered under my breath.
” Who is it ? Is it Dylan De Luca again ? Cora are you sleeping with your Ex who has a family already ? He asked and I stood up immediately.
” I can see you have lost your mind Crisanto. Call me when you get your feelings together” I said and he pulled me back .
” What the hell is wrong with you Cris ? I asked and he slammed his lips on mine as I froze in shock .
I struggled to get out of his grip as I punched his nose ,he groaned as b*od dropped into his nose.
” I’m sorry …..I just I love you so much . Cora it hurts ” he said as he broke down.
“I just want you to see me ,even if it’s just once ..” he said and I looked away as tears rolled outta my eyes.
” It’s always Dylan ..and trust me I wanna understand because that’s how much I love you . It just hurts so much ” he said crying.
” But then if we were meant to be ,I don’t think you’d choose him even after all these years again. I’m sorry .
” I just want you to be happy” he said and I picked my bag .
” You’re fired Santo . Call me when you get your sh!t together” I said as I made my way out of the place .
