Jocelyn moved back, totally cut off guard. She felt like running away. The only guy she’s ever loved was proposing to her!
He was on his knees!
She screamed out in excitement and cover her face then burst out crying.
Eddie was startled. Then he giggled after regaining his composure.
A spoilt girl will always be a spoilt girl. He thought as he watched her tearing up.
“It’s okay angel. Do I take the tears as a yes?” Eddie asked with a smile.
Jocelyn slowly moved her hands from her face and turned to look at him then nodded.
She placed her hand in front of him, waiting bro receive her precious ring.
Eddie placed the ring on her finger and slowly kissed it before standing up to hug her.
“Oh my God…it’s really happening. It’s happening.” Jocelyn said as she sobbed on Eddie’s shoulder, wetting his clothe with her tears.
“It’s okay.” Eddie mumbled. “This is supposed to be a joyful moment for us.”
Jocelyn rolled her eyes. “These are tears of joy. I’m filled up with excitement.”
They sat on the bed and faced each other. Eddie sighed and took her hands in his. “Do you still think I’m having something to do with Rihanna or someone else?”
Jocelyn shook her head and looked apologetically at him. “I’m sorry for what happened at the hospital. I should not have listened to her.”
“She told you something?” Eddie asked and Jocelyn nodded. “What did she say to you?”
“That your are her boyfriend. She told me I should leave and stop breaking you two apart. Those words really got me.”
Eddie’s face tightened as he looked away.
He knew it. He turned back to look at Jocelyn.
“Don’t believe what people say, angel. A lot of them do not want you to be happy. Don’t give them the chance to achieve that.”
Jocelyn smiled and nodded. Then exhaled deeply. “I’m super excited! I don’t even know how to express it!”
“I know one way how to do that. I’m taking you out later in the evening. Where would you like to go?” Eddie asked, touching her hair.
“Anywhere is fine…..so far you are gonna be there with me.” Jocelyn replied happily.
“How about we spending this week at Los Angeles? My mom’s place?”
Jocelyn gasped softly. “That will be so great! When can we go?”
“I tell you once I round up my activities in the hospital. Jocelyn….. you’ve made me the most happiest man on Earth by accepting my proposal. I will forever love and cherish you.” Eddie said, looking straight into her eyes.
Jocelyn slowly moved closer and kissed him warmly on the lips. “You make my life complete, Eddie. So complete.”
Jocelyn smiled and hugged him happily. She was filled with the excitement of going to Los Angeles to know more about her about
to be mother-in-law. She just couldn’t wait.

Adam was just returning home that afternoon when he saw a strange car parked in his garage.
He turned to look at his body guard, Mac, with questioning eyes. “Who’s inside? Is my mom here?” He asked.
“I wouldn’t know sir. We came in together.” Mac replied as humbly as he could.
“I see.” Adam said and started walking towards the main entrance.
He stopped in the doorway immediately when he heard a baby’s voice, giggling.
A baby….in his house?
No way! Hope it’s not what I’m thinking! Adam thought as he hurried in and behold, he saw what he was thinking about.
His son, Brian was crawling all over the living room.
Adam’s eyes widened. “what’s happening here! Lucio! Lucio….”
“Hey….stop screaming that way. Why not you say hello to your baby boy?” Lucio asked, coming into the living room with a glass of juice in her hand.
Adam scoffed, glaring so hard at her. “What’s the meaning of this? What are you doing here you sick head!” Adam barked angrily.
Little Brian stopped playing and stared up at him too.
Lucio rolled her eyes and sat on a sofa. “Sick head? You can say wh@tëver you want but that won’t stop me from bringing your son to your house.
“I can’t be the only one taking care of him.” Lucio retorted.
“What are you talking about! I got him a nanny and I pay her! What else do you want!”
“He doesn’t want a nanny! What he wants are his mom and dad! Get that?” Lucio yelled back.
“So what do you want right now because you are getting the hell out of my house this minute!”
Lucio laughed and shook her head. “Why? You don’t want me to see your newest catch? You don’t want me to burst your bubble?”
Adam rubbed his hands on his head and turned to look at her. “I will have my bodyguards throw you out, Lucio. Get the hell out of my house.”
“You know what, Adam? In this type of situation…..you ought to be begging me and not the other way round. I can spoil your plans for you Adam just at the slightest provocation so….I advise you treat me better.”
Adam sighed and shrugged. “So what do you want?”
“Brian is going to spend the week with you. That’s what I want for now. And a fat cash.” Lucio said and winked.
Adam scoffed. “Those two demands are impossible. You can’t get any of them.”
“Then get ready to be exposed. You think you can have a happy life after having abandoning me with your own son?”
“You can as well abandon him too if you want. It’s a matter of choice!” Adam yelled again.
Lucio gasped and shook her head. “I can’t believe how cruel you can be! Then what happens to Brian when the both of us abandons him?”
“I’m not abandoning my son. I’m taking responsibilities of him! I’m paying his nanny. Isn’t that enough responsibility from my own part?” Adam asked.
“Okay. If that’s what you want. If you really want this….I will let you but let me remind you that you must surely pay for this! Lucio yelled before bending down to pick her son.
