“It’s all right people. We are now on the second stage of this wonderful and awesome competition proudly sponsored by Global Music Competition in association with the America’s Got Talent and I hope all the competitors are aware of the decrease in time. You all have thirty minutes to present wh@tëver you have to showcase”. A male judge said and the hall became noisy again.
“We’ll quickly brush through the list of the 10 countries with just a hit left. South Africa, Nigeria, United Kingdom, Korea, China, Thailand, Philippine, Canada, United States of America and finally India”
“It’s sad if your country is not here for the second round. A big congratulations to the following countries that pulled through”
“We will begin proper now… The first country we have here is….. Can you all guess?”

“That was quite energetic. The lucky hit from China, kindly occupy the stage”. Another female judge said and there was a loud noise from the audience. They ran to the stage while the noise increased.
“This performance is dedicated to you all. Take it as a token of appreciation”. The leader said blowing kisses to the crowd while they all screamed again.

“The stage is all yours R4”. Another male judge said while they all bounced to the stage while April and Nikita catwalked in. The noise doubled putting smiles on the R4’S faces.
Channel and Arlette smiled from where they sat loving the cheers from the crowd.
“Hi guys”. Rocky said smiling brightly while he winked at them.

“We love you all”. Reggie said and some girls were rushed out of the hall.
They took their stand immediately while the music kicked off immediately. Their fans who knows the song sang along with them while those who doesn’t know it flowed with the vibes and energy.
Nikita twirled around Rocky gorgeously while April whined her waist perfectly to the tune of the music. Their fans cheered and danced to the music with so much happiness while The Bullets were also flowing with the vibes.

They ended the dance with the boys kneeling on the floor and the one of the girls leg on their shoulders while the noise multiplied thrice the noise earlier.
Channel on the other hand wouldn’t stop screaming likewise Arlette. They left the stage not without blowing them kisses.
“Wow. That was awesome. Give it up to them but too bad we can’t press the buzzer now else I wouldn’t wait a second before pressing it. That was great. Keep it up”. A male judge said while Channel giggled silently.
“Ten minutes break, a Link and Scan code I’ll be displayed. Cast your votes and remember…”

“That’s nice. Cast your votes now”. A female judge said and the light to the stage went off immediately.
The hall became noisy again while Channel hurriedly made her way to the back of the stage where other idols are. She sighted Rocky backing her and she wasted no time in running towards him. She stepped on her dress and almost fell but was caught by strong hands.
She looked up immediately and frowned when she saw a guy she doesn’t know. He quickly let go of her immediately while she tucked her hair behind her ear.
“I’m Jace. Nice meeting you”. The guy said and she nod stretching her neck above his shoulder.
“I was heading somewhere, if you don’t mind I wanna run along”. She said not looking him. She moved to her right and he quickly blocked her from going. She moved to her left and he did the same thing.
“Can at least know your name?”. He asked and she sighs touching her forehead.
“Excuse me”. She said politely while the guy scoffed.
“You are so beautiful. It’s fine if you don’t tell me your name but can I at least have your contact?”. He asked and she shook her head.
“I don’t have a phone so get out of my way”. She replied harshly twisting her toes painfully as she walking away.
“Not yet….”
“Out of my way!!!!”. She yelled and the guy felt a tap on his shoulder. The guy turned and was welcomed with a mighty punch on his face.
“I hope that can teach you a lesson”. Rocky said holding her right hand.
“Who the Fuçk are you?”. The guy yelled moving closer to Channel.
“Take ten steps backwards. I can assure you will be hospitalized when if you don’t take ten steps backward”. Rocky said calmly flexing his fingers while the guy chuckled rubbing his chin.
“I’d love to see you try”. The said and grabbed her Channel’s hand roughly.
“I saw her first so I’ll have her first”. The guy said licking his lips seductively while Channel hissed. Rocky was about giving him a punch when Reggie held his hand.
“You are creating a scene. This can get us disqualified. Reggie said dropping his hand down.
He made to punch him again but Channel hugged him tight while he took a deep breath before bringing down his hand.
“You should be lucky he came to your rescue”. Rocky said and carried Channel in a bridal style.
“You should have tried it!!!” He yelled and was about running after him but Reggie pushed him back roughly.
“You should be ashamed of yourself for flirting with someone else’s girlfriend. So shameless”. Reggie spat and walked away with his hands in his pocket while the guy scoffed before walking away.

*****TEN MINUTES LATER*****
The light to the stage suddenly came up indicating time up while they all settled down.
“Welcome back ladies and gentlemen. The Link will be closed now. If you haven’t casted your vote, there is always a next time”. A male judge said while the hall became silent.
“We are here now with the summed up voted for each countries”. A female judge said while Rocky shut his eyes.
“Another five country will be going down tonight. Let’s take a tour around that”. She said taking her eyes back to her tablet.
“United Kingdom has the total of……1,500 votes…..”. The other male judge said while the crowd cheered them.
“Thailand has the total of……730 votes”. He said tapping on the screen of his tablet while the crowd cheered them.
“India has the total of …….654 votes”. A female judge spoke up while the cheers was low.
“China has the total of…….1,890 votes”. Another female judge said while they all screamed out in excitement.
“Philippine has the total of……534 votes”. The last female judge said while the crowds clapped with low screams.
“Nigeria has a total of 1670 votes. Impressive”. A female judge said while the crowds cheered them.
“South Africa has a total of……..900 votes”. A male judge said while the cheers was dull and unfriendly.
“United State of America has a total of 1,305 votes”. A male judge said while the crowd clapped with low screams.
“Canada has a total of ……1,956 votes”. A female judge said while the crowd screamed and clapped.
“Korea has the total of……..I can’t see this well. Is this 300 or what?”. The first male judge asked the female judge beside him while she sighed.
Rocky held Channel’s hand tight breathing heavily while April blocked her ears with both hands, her eyes shut tight not wanting see or hear anything. There was a great murmur among the audience.
“We are so sorry for this but this is way far more than my expectation. I’ll just say it anyways. Korea has a total of ……..3……Don’t know how to say this”
“Korea has a total of…… Should I say it?”. He asked while the crowd echoed a loud yes.

“Korea has a total of …….3,570 votes!!!!”. He yelled while the crowd screamed on the top of their voices while The R4 opened their mouth in shock as the crowd kept screaming and shouting.
“Wow….. Can we bring down our voices?”. Another female judge asked and it took a while before the screams could die down.
“It’s so sad we found the countries who couldn’t make it to the next level”. She said while the hall became noisy again.
“United State of America, Thailand, South Africa, Philippine and lastly India”
“If your country is among these various countries, we are sorry your idols couldn’t make it to the final stage. They have all done wonderfully well and you all can testify to that”.
“Congratulations to the countries who made it to the final stage. It has been a challenging journey right?”
“There is always a next time for everyone and there will surely be a next time. Do have a safe trip back to your country. Thank you all fro your time, we’ve come to the end of today’s segment. Good night everyone”. A male judge rounded up and the hall became noisy again as everyone started trooping out if the large hall.

~OUTSIDE~
April sat at the same spot she do sit smiling brightly as the cold gentle breeze touched her skin. She tucked her hair behind her ear, she felt a figure beside her and she turned sharply towards the direction.
“Must you always sneak up on me?”. She asked rolling her eyes while he chuckled taking his seat beside her.
“Why are you always outside at night?”. Zedd asked rubbing his hands.
“I just need natural air…”
“Or you don’t have a room”. He interrupted while she groaned rolling her eyes.
“Of course I do. It’s just kind of boring and lonely”. She replied nodding her head.
“Trust you are excited you were able to pull through the final level”. He said and she nod heaving a sigh of relief.
“It’s a thing of joy though. I would also be happy if we were the one in that position but I guess it’s karma then”. He said and sighs.
“We still owe you guys an apology and that will be when we are back in korea. Just have it in mind”. He said and she shrugged while he stood up.
“You should go inside now. It’s late and besides, it’s really cold out here”. He said and she nod standing to her feet while he led the way inside with April trailing behind him.

Ash carried Raquel downstairs in his arm, he dropped her on the couch squatting in front of her.
“Raquel, I understand your reasons for hating her but I guess you shouldn’t..”.
“Why should I not when I almost lost my life”. She snapped rolling her eyes.
“She is the main reason your nanny is hale and healthy. She was never in support of what her friend did to you and your nanny. She has no idea what her friend did to you”.
“You might not believe me but you can ask your brother when he returns. Her friend is now in the police custody all thanks to Itzel and Penn”.
“Do you know your nanny is my sister?”. He asked and she gasped covering her mouth.
“Your sister?”. She asked and he nod.
“You mean Channel is your sister?”. She asked and he nod taking his seat beside her.
“How come she stays with Arlette when she agreed to be my nanny?”. She asked folding her little hands below her Brë@št.
“It’s a long story. I’ll definitely tell you one day but not now. Just stop hating the wrong person….”
“Who is she to you?”. She asked and he smiled patting her hair slowly.
“My girlfriend”. He replied and she nod taking her eye to the tablet in her hand.
“I’ll try my best. I just can’t accept her like that. What if she is evil?”. She asked whispering the last sentence into his ear while he chuckled.
“She is not. If she is, she won’t have rescued your nanny. I’ll leave you for now….. I’ll be back soon”. He said and she nod.
“Do you know if my crush and that ugly monkey is fine with that naughty last guy”. She asked while he chuckled.
“I don’t know who you are talking about but if it’s the R4, then they are all fine. They are currently not in the country right now but they will be back soon. Ensure you don’t call your brother, I’ll tell you when he returns else, you will spoil the suprise”. He said and she giggled before nodding her head.
“Can you get me a pack of chocolate on you way back?”. She asked with a pout. He smiled and pecked her cheek before nodding his head.
“Of course. Any other thing Princess?”. He asked and she shook her head negatively.
He smiled and walked out of the house while she switched on the TV.

Mr and Mrs Zode slumped on the couch tiredly. She picked up her phone and dialed Rocky’s number but he didn’t pick up. She dialed it again and got the same response.
She tried Raquel’s number and it rang on the couch she sat on. She picked it and saw the broken screen, she dropped it back on the couch standing up to her feet, she made her way to their room while he trailed behind her.
They both got to the room and slumped on the bed. He yawned tiredly before drifting off to dreamland.

*****CADDEL’S MANSION*****
Ash walked in and met her in the sitting room wearing a sad expression. He sat beside her and she sniffed before turning to looking at him.
He scoffed and pulled her into a tight hug, he rubbed her back while she hiccupped repeatedly.
“How long have you been like this?”. He asked and she sniffed.
“Last night”. She whispered while he sighs before pulling out of the hug.
“A gem like you shouldn’t cry because a little girl doesn’t like you. She is just a kid after all and besides, I’ve told her some wonderful things you’ve done for her nanny. She should be calm the next time she sees you”. Ash said and pecked her lips.
“I messed up. I shouldn’t have followed her footsteps, I shouldn’t have been a minior to her. I was just dumb and stupid then”. She replied breaking down in tears again while he sighs.
“That reminds me, why haven’t you been going to school?”. He asked and she hissed.
“They shut down the school when the president got the news, her dad lost his stand as a Minister. At lot has happened that you aren’t aware of”. She replied sniffing while her pulled her closer to himself.
“So what are your plans?”. He asked and she wiped her tears with both hands.
“My mum has drawn it to conclusion, I’ll finish up in Harvard next year”. She replied placing her head in his chest.
“What about me?”. He asked and she raised her head up immediately.
“I wasn’t in support of this and I will never be in support of it. She h@tës when her words are disobeyed”. She huffed and he chuckled.
“I’ll come with you. You don’t have to disobey your mum”. He replied and she gasped.
“Really? What about your mum? Are you willing to abandon your career just because…….”. He interrupted her with a light kiss on her lips.
“My mum will be fina as soon as Channel is with her. She will be fine. My ambition is something I can achieve anywhere and anytime. I’m willing to go anywhere with you and I don’t care how far it is”. Ash said with sincerity in his voice while she gulped down nothing.
“I love you”. She said and he smiled claiming her lips in a slow passionate kiss.
