“Can I come in?” Modeok asked before entering.
“Modeok?” He called, suprised.
“Why you here?” He added.
“Can I come in? At least, for a quick discussion..” Modeok said.
“Yes…” She entered and then stood for a while.
“Aren’t you going to have your seat?” Hwan asked.
“You want me to sit down with you? You mean beside you?” She asked, astonishingly.
“Yeah.. Can’t you sit down with me? Are you reading that afraid of me?”
“Of course, you knew that. But I’ll sit down with you.” She sat down beside him.
“So, what’re you here for?”
“I came to tell you something..”
“Something like what?”
“I know the person who cursed you..” She declared.
“You know I’m cursed?”
“Yes, Daracula was the one that cursed you. And the curse can only be break with the help of your mate. Have you ever tried finding her for once?” She asked.
“I have, but it seems I couldn’t find her.” Hwan said, sadly.
“Have you ever tried it with me? Do you find anything strange in me that got us attached to each other?” She asked, looking straight into his eyes.
“I don’t quite get you. Are you my mate?”
“I don’t know, I was only asking..”
“I can’t know if you’re my mate or not..” ” Then, should we do a short test?” Modeok asked.
“Test like what?”

“I won’t…” Hwan leaned and touched her neck, his teeth went deeper and he body freezed. He suck it quite hungry coz it was his first time drinking blood.
“Ahhhhhh…!! She left out a soft cry, but when his teeth went deeper than what she could hold, she pulled him away from her and looked into his eyes faintly.
She saw them red and it was changing colors; it wasn’t in a stable condition..
She fainted after some time and Hwan shut down his eyes.
Few minutes later, she woke up and saw him sitting down a chair beside her.
This was the first time she saw him cared about her.
“You never tell me you were pregnant before I marked you..” He asked, with worry.
“I thought it isn’t necessary. I couldn’t tell you because I meant nothing to you, that means the baby also means nothing to you.” Modeok said, with her eyes glistering with tears.
“How was it?”
“I shouldn’t have agreed to mark you.”
“Why?”
“It seems to have endangered your life…”
“Meaning?”
“You’re my mate and finding you means I have got the cure but your life is in danger. You’ll die soon….”
“You mean I’m your mate? And I have break the curse?” She asked, happily.
“But you breathing it means you scarifice your life for me.”
“And if that’s the case, then we should both be happy you’re cured after all these years. Aren’t you happy?”

“Why?”
“Because to me it seems I have scarificed the only person that rules my heart.”
“Rules your heart? Am I the one controlling your heart beat? I don’t have the power to do such a thing.” Modeok said, perplexedly.

“What makes you think I feel the same for you? My father’s Daracula. The vampire who layed the curse on you.

“I can’t, Modeok. I tried to but it kept on failing me!”

“It already too late for that, Hwan. Infact, I have a go back…” Modeok said, with an attempt to leave but he grasp her hand.
“I know you feel the same! I know it was all because of how I treated you that makes you think this way.. But please for the sake of..”
“I said I don’t love you!” Modeok jerked off her hand from his and ran out in tears.
She needs to make him realized how it felt..So she had to lie she doesn’t loves him.

“Why have you been? I have been searching for you….”
“I went to see him and I did something he can never forget to him..”
“What do you mean?”
“We happens to be mate and I break the curse!” Modeok dropped the bombshell.
“What?! Do you have any idea what you did will caused?” Balam asked, half yelled.
“Yes, Mother. But seeing him that way hurts me and I really can’t watch someone I loved died when I have a solution to it.”
“So, what you said to your father was right? You love the man you claimed you doesn’t love?”
“What can I do? Love could come in a different way, this’s an example of it. I just have to let him know I don’t feel the same for him and he should try moving on..”
“Do you really think it’s that easy?”
“Of course, I know it is an easy thing to do. But in this kind of situation, this’s the solution to it.” Modeok said, with tears gushing down her cheeks..
“I’ll die soon, anyways.”

Modeok carried her baby on her arms. The baby seems to be needing something from her, but she wasn’t ready to give it to her.
“Stop crying baby girl..!! Mother can’t give you what you asked for..” She patted her further, but her cries increase instead.
“Modeok, you should try giving her what she wants.” Balam said as she entered.
“I just b*east feed her not quite long and she’s asking for more. I’ll continue doing this until she falls asleep..” Modeok said, covering her body well.
“Then give me! You’re such a lazy mother. It wouldn’t take much of your time to feed her..” Balam collected the baby from her and I kept quiet immediately she felt she was in another person’s arms.
“She seems to like you, mother.” Modeok said, sounding jealous.
“Are you jealous that she likes me pretty much?” Balam said, jarcularly.
“No, I’m not….”
“Oh yeah, you’re….”
“Before I got carried away, your father needs your attention. Someone’s waiting for you..”
“Someone? Who?”
“Go and find out yourself.”

Sitting room
Modeok entered only to saw Hwan sitting somewhere on the chair.
“Father, you asked for me?” Modeok asked, not minding the person she saw.
“He as come to take you as his…” He declared.
“Didn’t you say we can’t be together?”
“You two are vampires, but you are strong enough to be with him at that time and in order to stop sinisters from happening, you both have to give each other some space.
This was the reason why I cursed him. He was an abomination. His birth caused a lot of misfortune to everyone. I had to cursed him because sooner or later he would use the power he had to destroy the universe and then kill himself afterwards.
But now, he seems to know how to control his power. He was able to use it to destroy his enemies without him misusing it..” Daracula declared.
“Won’t you give me a hug? He said, teasingly and she ran to him for a hug.
They hugged for minutes, forgetting they were in the presence of Daracula, they kissed each other passionately.
And Modeok sat in between his legs to give him a rush kisses. Daracula only smiled. He could see they really loved each other and there would be a great parents.
“I thought I’ll never be able to see you again…” She said, sadly as he looked into her eyes.
“I can never let you go, Modeok…” He said and smashed his lips on hers again…
