✯XAVIER’S HOUSE✯
ONE WEEK LATER
A week had passed and there was still no sign of Xavier,he left the house since the day he had an argument with Catherine.
She got closer to Nanny Diana day by day since they spent more time together.She would get sad and doze into space from time to time but Nanny Diana always tried to distract her with baking,cooking and even told her stories about her life when she was a young lady.
The workers were treating her like an egg,with a lot of respect and were always ready to jump at her every command but her being Catherine,she was already used to doing things by herself so she declined their help almost all the time.
Both ladies were currently sitting in the kitchen eating their well-baked chocolate cookies that they finished baking an hour ago.
“So tell me,what do you really think about Cole?” Nanny Diana eyed her
“Cole? Who’s Cole?” she furrowed her brows
“Your boyfriend of course, Xavier” she munched on a cookie and Mõ@ned in satisfaction
“Ohh umm…I didn’t know that his name is Cole,a…and he’s not my boyfriend Nanny” she tucked her hair behind her ear nervously
“Ohh come on,you can’t fool me…besides him and I talk about everything,so judging from that,do you think I wouldn’t know about you?” she chuckled
“E..Everything?” she gaped at her in surprise
“Do you love him?” Nanny Diana watched her closely and she could swear she saw her eyes sparkle at the mention of ‘love’
“I..I—”
“Do you love Anderson?”
She looked at Nanny Diana and then looked at her fingers while she played with them and slowly shook her head.
“I…I actually don’t know if I do or not anymore,I really am sorry for what I did but….he didn’t even give me a chance to try and fix everything” she muttered
“If you don’t know if you love him or not then why do you want him to give you a chance to fix things? Do you want to convince yourself to fall in love with him all over again? Is it because you feel guilty?” Nanny Diana held her hands
“All of this is messing with my head! I .. I’m just tired of it all!” she suddenly stood up and roughened her already messy hair
“Dear,just remember one thing,you cannot force love nor can you convince your heart whom to choose, sometimes our hearts leads us to people we’ve never expected that we question ourselves why,no matter what you do you can never fool your heart or deny what it truly wants you will only get hurt in the end.When you truly love someone you feel alive whenever they smile at you,they take your breath away with just a touch,your heart accelerate with just one glance and you feel like exploding and running mad at the same time!” She laughed “Ohh how beautiful love is,I miss the old days when I was your age” she chuckled
“Have you ever felt like that ?” Catherine asked softly
She nodded and smiled “But this is not about me, it’s about you and who your heart really belongs to”
“Well I—” she was interrupted by her phone ringing and she checked the caller ID before answering quickly
“Aunt…”
“Catherine! You need to come over to the house right now!” Aunt Becky shouted
“Aunt! You know I can’t,the paparazzi is all over the place—”
“I don’t care! Just because sure you show up here regardless” she said and hung up immediately
“Is everything okay?” Nanny Diana looked at her worriedly
“I don’t know,my aunt wants to see me,she says it’s really urgent,I need to find a way to go home without alerting those blood sucking media outside” she paced around the room
Nanny Diana shrugged and ate the remaining cookie while watching her like she was some interesting show.

✷WAREHOUSE✷
Matthew walked into Xavier’s office and bumped into Sierra on her way out,he was expecting her to explode on him but she just walked passed him with a sour face ,half naked.
“Boss..” He looked at Xavier and closed the door
Xavier said nothing and buttoned his shirt.
“Don’t tell me you did it with her!” Matthew threw the files on the table
“What’s wrong with her?” He took the files and looked into them
“She literally shoves every d_1ck in down her—”
“Are you here to lecture me about my s*x life or talk about business?” Xavier arched his brow at him
“My bad” Matthew held his arms up in surrender and sat down “Those files contain every detail of her,she calls herself Rachel and we discovered that she’s not alone.There is someone else giving her orders and they are the ones that stole your goods”
“Where do they keep these stolen goods?”
“Out of the city,about an hour’s drive,they have some sort of an empire called the black coven where they train recruits and that’s where they keep those goods”
“Good,now find out about their boss and report back to me” Xavier gave him the files
“Aren’t you going to do something about this Rachel lady? She almost cost your father’s company money,it could’ve gone bankrupt!” Matthew stared at him in disbelief
“I’ll deal with her later” He said and stared into space
“Okay” He slowly stood up and headed to the door
“I couldn’t do it” Matthew halted when he said that and turned to him “I couldn’t f*ck the hell out of Sierra” he squeezed his face
“I guess that explains why she was behaving like that, I’ll leave you to it then” he glanced at Xavier once and left
Xavier sighed and threw his head back.

☆BALDWIN HOME☆
“Aunt!” Catherine closed the door and walked fully into the house
She threw her headscarf and wig on the couch together with her bag
“What is it that I’m hearing about you Catherine!?” Aunt Becky descended down the stairs
“Aunt please,not another lecture from you please” She threw herself on the the couch
“Is this how I raised you huh? How could you destroy the dignity of that family like that!?” She threw the docvments she was holding on the table in front of Catherine
“I did no such! And things just got out of hand,and what is this?” she glanced at the docvments
“Read it” Aunt Becky looked at her before going to the kitchen
Catherine took them and read them
“Divorce!? What! No this can’t…” Her eyes fell on Anderson’s signature and she shook her head in disbelief and stood up “Anderson can’t do this” she paced back and forth
“I made us some orange juice before you arrived and it’s really fresh and sweet” Aunt Becky came back holding two glasses of orange juice
“I have to go” Catherine grabbed her bag and rushed out
“Go where!? Catherine! ohh god what’s wrong with that child!”

MANSION★
Sofie walked sluggishly into the house and a maid ran to her to take her bag.
Millicent walked downstairs and eyed her before approaching her.
“What are you still doing here?” She folded her arms
Sofie rolled her eyes and smirked at her
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“You and your friend succeeded in destroying my family,now get lost! Leave us in peace!” Millicent pushed her but she didn’t budge
“I’m part of this family now,the sooner you get that into your thick skull…” Sofie pushed her and she staggered back “the better, princess” she winked and left her there fuming in anger and she stormed to her room afterwards
Anderson came in after a while and walked upstairs to his room,as soon as he got there Sofie threw her robe on the floor revealing her red lingerie that she wore.
Anderson turned and whistled when he saw her
“Like it?” she smiled at him and cat walked towards him
“I love it!” He smirked and pulled her by her waist
“Not so fast,did you do it?” she held his cheeks
“All done” he buried his head on the crook of her neck “She must’ve sign it by now,give daddy a kiss” he smirked and she giggled before kissing him deeply

MEANWHILE …
Catherine stormed into the Xuan mansion and looked around
“Anderson! Andy!” she rushed upstairs but was stopped midway by Millicent
“You home wrecker! Haven’t you done enough!?” Millicent barked
“Please Lily,I don’t have time…get out of my way I really need to talk to Anderson”
“You came in between my brothers and tore my family apart! My husband got hurt because of you, you’re just a sl*t! Cheap wh*res like you belong in the dump!” Millicent spat and pointed at her aggressively
“I might be that sl*t you say I am,but at least I’m not a dumb, naive idiot like you who’s just a punching bag of a dalkop! That husband you’re talking of tried to R@PE me! He treats you like trash and yet you defend him and call it love! So pathetic” Catherine pushed the dumbfounded Millicent out of the way and ran to Anderson’s room
She stopped at his door to catch her breath and opened the door slowly,her head popped into the room first and her heart stung by what she saw
She led the door handle and it opened wide slowly.
“Ohh yes baby! Yes!” Sofie Mõ@ned out loud as Anderson th-ru_sted in and out of her roughly
He kissed her neck and and she tilted her eyes to the side and she caught Catherine staring at them with teary eyes and she smirked
“Aww god! Give it to me! Yes ! Yes !” She Mõ@ned out without breaking eye contact with Catherine
Catherine’s heart nearly stopped and tears rolled down her eyes as she took slow steps back before running out of the house.

HOSPITAL ๑
Mrs Xuan sat silently on the bench a bit far from the family
Mr Xuan was laying curses on her and she just sobbed in silence
Policemen came out of the ward after a long time and they walked towards her.
The detective cleared his throat and took out handcuffs.
“Mrs Ivy Xuan…” she looked up
“You’re under arrest for the attempted murder of Miss Miriam Knight and for killing her child in the process—”
“No I didn’t do it!” she stood up and shook her head vigorously
“You have a right to remain silent—”
He held her roughly and turned her to handcuff her and she sobbed more
“Let go of my daughter! Stop mishandling her!” Grandpa Paul growled and marched towards them
“Officer please you don’t have to do this, we’ll come with you to the police station but please let go of her!” Grandma Daisy begged trailing behind her husband
Everyone stopped what they were doing to watch and some even recorded on their phones
“I didn’t do anything! Ouch! ” she cried as they took her away and she turned to Mir Xuan who just watched quietly “Marvin! Say something! I didn’t do it!!” she shouted but he just stood there
She looked at him with teary eyes crying and shouting at him to come to her aid till they disappeared into another corner of the hallway.

Catherine walked slowly into the house and let go of her bag and it fell in a thud on the floor
A maid ran to take her bag but she saw how puffy her eyes were from crying.
“Ma’am are you okay?” she asked softly
She nodded her and signalled her to go away and she bowed slightly before excusing herself
Catherine suddenly felt a sharp pain in her abdomen and groaned out,she felt warm liquid run down her milky thighs and she put her hand under her floral dress to check what it is,when she took out her hand she saw blood
“No..” she put both her hands under the dress to check again if she wasn’t dreaming but she was not as her hands came out bloody
She stared at her hands in horror,nobody needed to tell her twice what was going on because she knew already
“No no no Ahhh!!” the sharp pain came back again stronger causing her legs to give in and she fell on the cold floor and darkness consumed her
“Flora what is that noise…Ohh Jesus Catherine!” Nanny Diana saw her laying on the floor and rushed to her “Guards! Someone help! Dora! Flora! Ohh Jesus!”
