Rose screamed in pain, he was about to stab her in the chest when suddenly rose heard a loud bang.
He drop dead to the ground immediately. She looked up and saw Andrew.
She sighs and breathe out in relief.
“Hey, are you okay?”
Andrew asked as he stretched his hands and rub his finger.
Rose burst into tears.
Andrew walked to her and sat down with her before hugging her.
“It’s okay… You are safe now”
He patted her back.
“I can’t stand, Andrew..
Have been stab at the leg”
Rose said.
“Oh Sh|t…
The bastard stabbed you”
We have to go now”
Andrew replied.
“Is he dead?”
Rose asked looking at the man’s unconscious body on the ground.
“No, he is going to wake up after some hours, I only hit him in the neck”
“In the neck? ”
“Yeah, I hit his carotid artery, it is blocked by now, and once it opens up, he is going to wake up”
Andrew replied.
(The carotid artery is one such area that is found in the neck which supplies blood to the brain, and if it’s compressed or blocked, it can lead to loss of consciousness)
“How do you know about that?”
Rose asked.
“Biology stuffs…
He replied and smile.
“So can we stop talking about how he passed out and get the hell out of here? ”
“Yeah sure…
Rose said and clean her tears.
Andrew removed his long tie and cover the stab wound on her leg. He carried her up in his arms with her long hair dangling in the air.
Rose looked at Andrew. Andrew noticed that and smile again.
“Am sorry for everything”
She said.
“Let’s get you home first”

Andrew replied and walked out of the bathroom.
Rose rest the side of her head gently on his chest..
“And don’t worry about him..
John will take care of him”
Andrew refered to the assassin on the ground.

Andrew was having a conversation with John in his office when a call came into his office phone line.
John picked it.
“Yes?
Who is this?”
John asked.
“It’s Jake from Boathouse’s Eatery…
Am I speaking with Andrew Williams?”
“Continue Jake …
He is right here with me”. John said and turn on the speaker.
“Sir, I think there is a situation…
You once asked me to call anytime Rose Walter is in danger, I think she is now”
Jake said sadly.
Andrew stood up from his feet.
“Where is she?
What’s going on!”
Andrew asked grabbing the phone from John.
“Liam Payne’s girlfriend is here and I think she is up to something and to confirm my suspicion, I saw a strange man wearing black on the CCTV camera on his way to the restroom”
I have to run out here to make this call, I don’t think I can go back in now but please, Andrew William… You have to come immediately”
Jake replied…
Andrew waste no time.. he rushed out immediately.
“Boss, wait”
John called out as he followed him.

Two vehicles stopped in front of boathouse Eatery.
Andrew came out with John..
His men came out also and surrounded the whole building. He walked inside and look around. It’s still early in the morning, no customers yet.
He saw Olivia and Jerry sitting comfortably on one of the chairs.
“Hey Olivia”
He called and walked to them.

Robert was still thinking of what to do…
Rose might die any minute. He was feeling disturbed and uncomfortable as he heard rose’s scream from the bathroom.
He looked at Olivia sitting and smiling, folding her arms.
“No, I can’t risk it… I must save her, she doesn’t deserve to die”
I don’t care about revenge right now, I just have to save her”
Robert thought and wanted to stand up when he heard Andrew William’s voice.
“Hey Olivia”
He called and walk towards them.
Robert sighs in relief.
“Thank goodness you are here, check the bathroom, Andrew”
Robert within his mind, he couldn’t speak out and talk.
John came to join Andrew. Andrew looked at Robert.
“Where is Rose?”
He faced Jerry.
Olivia also looked at Jerry watching what he is going to say.
“I don’t know sir,
Jerry replied. Olivia smile.
Andrew lick up his lips and look at John. His eyes caught finger pointing towards the bathroom.
He looked at Robert and saw him pointing to the restroom’s direction. He also remembered Jake’s words.

He smile and face John again…
“Take her”
Andrew said and walked to the bathroom.
“Yes boss”
John replied and two men quickly grabbed Olivia.
Olivia just chuckles
“All this is not necessary, she might be dead by now”
“Then you are going to die a painful death”
John replied as Andrew’s men hold her.

Andrew came out of the bathroom with rose in his arms. Blood stains was on his suit but he didn’t mind.
He face Olivia who was being tied.
“You are going to pay for this”
He said and walked out with Rose.
John walked to the restroom and came out with the unconscious stranger in his shoulder.
Olivia keep smiling as Andrew’s men pushed her to move forward.
“Inform liam am being taken”
Olivia whispered to Robert and he nodded.
They all got into their vehicle and drove out.
Robert breathe a sigh of relief.
“Thank goodness he saved her”
Jake came out of his hiding place…
“Boss,.
Robert said as soon as he saw him.
“Close down the restaurant for today…
Send the afternoon and evening shift staff a message to stay back home”
“Alright, Sir…
Jerry replied.
“But can I ask where were you when Olivia,Andrew William and his men were here? ”
“How about you can get your answers after I get you fired”
Jake said.
Robert quickly keep shut.

“Am taking you to my house and am not taking a NO for an answer”

Andrew said without a smile on his face. He seems a little bit angry.
His driver keep driving. John sat at the front seat watching them from the rear mirror.
“Can we get to the hospital first?”
Rose asked.
“No, I will call a doctor over…
Just keep your mind at rest, my tie should be able to hold the bleeding for now”
He replied.
Rose sighs…
“Please can we not charged Olivia for attempt murder? I don’t want my parents to hear of this”
If they find out, they will worry too much”
“It’s fine…

Andrew replied.
“How do you know I was in danger?
“Your boss informed us…
He replied.
Rose hugged him.
“Thanks for saving me and am sorry for the little fight we had…
Now I understand why you wanted me to stay home with you”
Andrew chuckles wearing away his angry look.
” Am glad you’ve learnt your lessons”

Doctor Naresh Gupta came out from Rose’s bedroom. He walked to the living room. Andrew saw him and stood up.
“How is she? ”
He asked.
“She is going to be fine sir, her wounds are treated and all she needs is to rest”
The doctor replied.
“Thanks, doctor..
“Yeah, but we have a minor problem…
She is going to be on wheelchair or maybe some crutches for some weeks and she will be attending the physiotherapy sessions at the hospital”
“Is her leg wound that bad?”
“Yes, the knife cut through her muscle tissues”
The doctor replied.
“Am going to send a nurse over to check up on her in the evening”
“Alright, thanks doctor for coming”
“Why won’t I come over ?
I will get the chance to see the face of the richest man in Los Angeles”.
The doctor said and laughed. Andrew also laughed.
“Well, I guess you finally did”

Andrew replied as he lead him out.
He sighs and walked towards Rose’s bedroom.
John came out from the basement door.
“Boss, both Olivia and the assassin are in the basement now”.
“Alright, I will get back to them later, I need to check up on rose”
He replied and opened the bedroom door.
Rose was sitting on the bed staring at the drawer.
“Hey,
He called. Rose faced him… She wanted to stand up but felt a pain in her leg and sat down back.
“Don’t stress yourself”
Andrew walk to her and sat down beside her.
“Are you okay now?”
“Seriously? Andrew
Obviously, am not”
She replied and smile.
“It’s so good to be back here, nothing here has changed”
“Yeah, no one tampered with it, your bedroom still remains the same”
He replied.
“The doctor told me about the sessions and …

I just don’t want my parents to find out”

“Am going to call them, tell them am spending some weeks with you,
I know they will be happy to hear that”

Andrew said.
“Not when you start taking them on a vacation which is not necessary”
Rose replied and noticed Andrew’s stare at her face.
They both stare at each other and then later burst into laughter.

“Why doesn’t she always listen?….
Liam asked angrily. Jerry just stood in front of him unable to look at his face.
“Why did she go after rose?
I thought we had settled this, what would Andrew think of me, breaching the deal we had”

I tried to warn her but she didn’t listen”
Jerry said.
Liam sighs.
“Andrew William is never going to release Olivia. He is going to use it to strike a deal with me”
We are going to get her out ourselves”
He said and looked at Jerry.
