With shaky hands, she raised them to his face and held the tip of the mask then paused for some seconds.
The man looked down at her, staring at her intently…
Celina closed her eyes and then removed the mask. Like a slow mo, she opened her eyes and then looked at the person she’s been praying for day and night…
Tears immediately gathered in her eyes as she stared at those dark eyes which always looked at her with so much affection.
“Derek…” She said in tears as she smiled then touched his cheek as she traced it.
He’s changed that’s glaring on his physical appearance. He’s become more handsome than before…
Her hand traveled down to his body as she touched it, making sure she wasn’t dreaming and she wasn’t. Derek was standing in front of her, he came for her…
Derek simply stared at her with so much happiness growing up in him that he felt jt will explode.
“Love…” Celina jumped on him.
He hugged her tightly as he buried his face in her shoulder, letting his tears of joy out.
“You’re alive…you came back for me” Celina said happily.
“Yes my love, I promised I’ll come back for you right?” Derek said and placed her down.
He cupped her cheek and kissed her round her face. Celina giggled loudly…
“That tickles…” She laughed.
“That’s what I wanna see and hear. You smiles and laughters” Derek replied.
“I love you Derek” Celina said.
Derek smiled…
“You know I’ve always love you, and I’ll never stop.” He replied and held her waist then pulled her closer.
Her chest slammed on his as crashed his lips on hers, kissing her like it was their last.
Celina dipped her hand in his hair, pulling him closer too as he sucked on her tongue and then nibbled on her lower lips.
They broke the kiss after about 6 minutes in order to catch their breaths while resting their foreheads on each other.
“Let’s go!” Derek whispered.
Celina held his hand and nodded with a smile. She suddenly remembered someone.
“Derek, I can’t leave Belle behind. He’ll ki*ll her for sure” Celina said worriedly.
“Who’s Belle?” Derek furrowed his brows.
“It’s a very good friend of mine. It’s her who made sure I was sound and safe and she also helped me take care of the baby” She blurted out and closed her mouth when she realized she just ruined the surprise out of panic.
“Alright, I’ll send my men to go rescue her. Come on, let’s….wait… Did you just say baby?” Derek asked.
Celina bit her lips and looked down while blushing. A feeling she never had since a long while.
“We’ll talk when we get away from here” Celina said.
“Okay, come on let’s leave” Derek looked up to see the helicopter was still flying around waiting for his signal.
He signalled the pilot and piloted it up to them before landing down in front of them.
Derek and Celina walked hand in gloves to the helicopter. He helped Celina climb in before he followed.
The helicopter flew away to their location. Well Santiago has his own house in China too. That’s where they’ll stay.

“d@mn it!! Who are the MF you came here?!” Louis cursed as they carried him to the car.
Derek’s men has already retreated. Their aim was to save Celina and not to fight so they went back.
The driver drove him home..
“Drive faster before I die you idi*t!!” He ranted and the man drove faster.
The car stopped in front of his house and they carried him down. He met the men in serious commotion.
“Boss, some men arrived here and they took the maid away” He ran to Louis.
“You useless scvm bag” Louis shot his on the head.
He held his bleeding arm as he marched into the house. Who did this? Could it be Fabian and the rest? Did they succeed in tracking him down.
“Call a doctor ASAP!” He said and sat down on a chair and then removed his shirt. He looked at the wound and that got him more angry. Who dared to sh00t at him?!
He closed his eyes as he tried to remember the silhouette of the person who shot him.
“That’s little taste of what awaits you st*pid!” He recalled his words.
“Who are you?” He wondered.

“Belle!! I’m so glad they rescued you!” Celina hugged Belle.
They were in a mansion. Seemed like its Santiago’s
“I’m happy you’re safe too. I was really scared when they took me away but they assured me it was you who requested they save me” Belle smiled.
“Thanks for not abandoning me” She added
“Come on, I’ll never abandon you. Not after all what we’ve been through” Celina replied.
Derek leaned on the wall as he watched them with a smile on his face. They both turned to him.
“Let me present to you out savior” Celina gestured.
Belle bowed. Of course, she knows who he is. She was so happy to see he was safe and sound.
“Thanks so much Mr Derek” She said with a smile.
“Oh come on, only Derek is okay” Derek smiled. Celina walked up to him and hugged him. He kissed her hair.
“Love is beautiful” A guard said.
They looked at the guard and the laughed…
“So hun, how did you survive?” Celina asked.
He cleared his throat and began narrating to them everything.
“Wow,I wish I could meet that Danika and her grandma. They are such nice persons.” Celina said..
“I’ll take my leave now. Let me give you two some privacy” Belle said.
“A maid will show you your room” Derek said…
She nodded and a maid guided her to her room. Derek looked at Celina and then held her hand they went upstairs.
“So when do you want to call yoir mother. I’m sure she’s worried sick about you” Celina said.
“I will but later…” Derek replied.
“I think you have something to tell me” Derek asked.
“Well….” She began scratching her head. How will she tell him?
“Uhm Derek..” She called which made him stop. She halted too…
Celina smiled and held his hand then placed it on her stomach.
“Do you feel it? Our baby is rejoicing the arrival of it’s father.” Celina said.
“Baby?” Derek said unbelievably…
“Yes, you’ll soon be a father Derek. I’m pregnant, for all this while I’ve been thinking of how I’ll raise this child alone. Thank goodness you came back, you never left me. You held to your promise!” Celina smiled
Derek was gobsmacked. He was so bemused that he didn’t know what to say. He felt his heart swell up with so much emotion.
He suddenly hugged her to himself…
“Thanks so much Lina. This is the best news I’ve ever received in a while. Thank you so much. I promise to protect you and our child with my life” Derek said.
He cupped her cheek and kissed her tenderly. This is what Celina missed. His kisses, his warm hugs, his car, his touch…everything about him…
Derek opened the door with his foot and walked in with Celina without breaking the kiss. He closed the door.
Then behind that closed door, what followed were Mõ@ns and the creeking sound of the bed????.

Two hours later**
Derek sat up on bed and yawned lightly. He picked his phone that was placed at the bed stand and looked at the time. It was still 3pm.
He looked at Celina and smiled. She’s sound asleep with the sheets covering her.
He rubbed her cheek and then removed the strands of her hair from her pretty face.
He switched his phone back on and then typed the number of his mother. Luckily he knows it off head. He called her for a video call.
It rang three times before Kyra picked up.
“Yes, who’s this….” Kyra’s face popped on the screen. She was looking elsewhere..
Derek smiled.
“Mom” He said.
Derek looked at the screen and a scream erupted off her lips. She almost threw her phone away.
Derek chuckled seeing the shocked look on her face.
“Son…” Kyra said and closed her mouth, getting all emotional.
“You’re alive. For real,” She teared up.
“Oh, mom… Don’t cry okay?” Derek smiled.
“I’m alive and I’m currently with Celina, yeah I saved her from Louis hands.” Derek said.
“Thank God, my heart can finally rest” Kyra said wiping off her tears.
Derek watched as Emile stick his face on the screen. He smiled ..
“Oh hey son. I hear you’re alive… Well I never believed you were dead, my son in law can’t die just like that” Emile said.
Celina woke up hearing the noise in the room. She sat up on bed as she watched Derek talk with Kyra and Emile.
“You even became more handsome!” Emile said and they laughed.
Celina hugged him from behind and kissed his neck.
“Looks like the Queen is awake. How are you doing princess, now my heart is at peace. I can finally sleep soundly” Emile said.
Celina lifted her head up and smiled
“Yeah. Thanks to my hubby” Celina kissed his cheek and sucked on his shoulder.
“The baby demands for daddy’s care” Celina said.
Derek chuckled…
“Wait a minute, we’re doing a video call” Derek said but Celina was not getting any of it.
Kyra and Emile were laughing silently watching the romantic couple. Celina caressed his chest, pulling him down
“We’ll talk later mom. Bye father” Derek said and hung up. He didn’t even know where he threw his phone.
He turned to Celina and then pinned her hands on bed. He bent down and licked her n*pples.
“Is this how pregnant women behave?” Derek wondered.
He looked at Celina who was Mõ@ning silently, enjoying his touch.
“You want attention right, you’ll get it” Derek whispered near his ear and then kissed her neck trailing kisses down her B@@bs.
He placed a kiss on her stomach and smiled…
“Can’t wait to have you in my arms” Derek whispered.
Derek looked back at Celina.
“I love you” He said
“Love you hubby” Celina smiled and kissed him….
