THE DEVIL’S TEARS
🗣️ What!!!
Loud screams and noise filled the hall as lots of harsh comments started coming from the audience.
Andrew was staring at Janette with an unreadable expression. She started wishing the ground could open up and swallow her. She has been disgraced publicly, her most deadliest hidden secret just came up in the presence of the world.
Andrew wasn’t saying anything but the hatred and anger in his eyes were enough to tell what he was feeling inside.
Brandy smirked and her loud voice came up again, gaining the attention of everyone.
“This is how it all started. I met Andrew years ago and we fell deeply in love with each other. We were madly in love with each other that we couldn’t do without each other. We would go crazy if we didn’t see each other for a day. Andrew wanted to take our relationship to the next level and that was when he introduced me to his parents but his parents disliked me so much and they stood up against our relationship. Andrew got angry that day and went to a club where he got drunk and had a one night stand with Janette. Janette was already pregnant for Max, her boyfriend but because of the love she had for Andrew for years she saw the night one stand as an opportunity and she pinned the pregnancy on Andrew. I was pregnant with Andrew’s child but I didn’t tell him. Janette introduced herself to Andrew’s parents and they love her, considering the fact that she lied to them about the pregnancy they started forcing Andrew to marry her. I met with Andrew and he told me everything. He asked for my forgiveness for having a one night stand with her and I did forgive him but something happened. His parents finally forced him to get married to Janette and they moved out of the country immediately. Two years later Andrew came back to Miami, I was having my baby that time. I found out that Andrew wasn’t really the father of her child. I caught her arguing with her boyfriend about the child, and I ran away immediately . A month later, I came across Andrew and the fact that were still madly in love with each other, I couldn’t resist him and we started seeing each other secretly, I wanted to tell truth but I had no evidence, Janette found out about our secret relationship and one fateful night she stormed my house and tried killing me, I ran away but she succeeded in shooting me, I was close to the window so I threw my baby in the dustbin. She came closer and when she confirmed I was dead, she left the house, but I didn’t really die, I was half conscious and that moment my friend Jessica rushed in and saw me that way, she found a doctor who saved my life. I left her with my child and borrowed the money she had with her and flew to Paris with the aim of making it and coming back for revenge, I really made it, I’m the chair woman of Brand cosmetics operating in different parts of the world” Brandy paused her statement and walked down the stage, she walked to where Andrew and janette where, eyes followed her till she got there.
“I told you I will destroy you and I finally did, you sent a thug to kill me but he reported back to me” Brandy laughed.
“What!!” Janette’s eyes widened.
Brandy’s eyes met with Andrew, he was staring at her with tears in his eyes.
“I will be showing everyone the real child of Andrew Jackson” Brandy said and walked to Jessica.
Mandy’s heart started beating so fast as she approached them. Brandy finally stopped before her and smiled lovingly.
“She’s my daughter, the real child of Andrew” Brandy said and eyes widened with loud murmurs.
“What!!” Mandy gasped loudly, turning to Jessica.
“She isn’t saying the truth right?” Mandy asked.
“I’m sorry, you are not my child, she’s… your real mother” Jessica replied with guilt in her eyes.
“I’m sorry Mandy”
“This.. this..” Mandy said and started running out of the hall.
“Baby” Jessica ran after her with tears in her eyes.
Two cops entered there immediately, going to Janette.
“You’re under arrest for attempted murder and for the murder of your ex boyfriend” A cop said.
“I can’t go to jail, don’t touch me” Janette started shouting.
Andrew started walking away from her.
“Andrew… Andrew!!” She screamed as the cops handcuffed her and took her away.
Andrew stepped closer to Brandy with tears in his eyes.
“You were alive? I thought you were dead” He said, letting his tears out.
“I didn’t die, you have grown more handsome” She smiled.
“I missed you, I cried when I was told that you died”
“I know, this is not the time of getting emotional, your real child is alive, it’s time for making up with her, we are making up with her” She said.
“Thank you for coming back to me, I still love you even after all these years” He said and tried hugging her but Adrian blocked him.
“I know you have a child with her but she isn’t yours, no one is allowed to hug her” Adrian said and took Brandy away immediately.
Andrew stared speechless.
“Are you that possessive? It was just a hug” She asked as Adrian took her out.
“When it comes to you pretty, I can be possessive and jealous” He replied handsomely and she smiled.
By now everyone was leaving the hall, cars started driving out of the building.
Charlotte’s room was scattered with her facial and makeup, she was crying as she watched the news on the television. It was broadcasted live and the news was all over Miami.
She screamed dementedly, pushing everything down.
How did it turn out that Mandy is a billionaire daughter? She is the real daughter of Andrew.
“This can’t be, no!!!” Charlotte screamed as her tears wet her cheeks.
She started scattering her hair, roughing it up and screaming crazily.
She heard a car horn outside and she ran downstairs.
She met Andrew coming in and she rushed to him.
“Dad!” She called with a teary voice.
“You didn’t watch the news?” He asked and more tears came out of her eyes.
“Don’t tell it’s true, don’t tell me that I’m not your child?” She cried.
“The video confirmed your mum saying it herself that you are not my child, I’m not your father, Charlotte” He replied and walked upstairs.
“No!!!, this can’t be happening to me, why? mum why?” She cried, falling on the ground.
Jonathan’s eyes were on the computer and seeing the seriousness and concentration he was giving there you would know he was searching for something very important. His fingers kept dancing on the keypad till he finally stopped as he got what he was looking for.
He smiled when he got it, now it’s time to get his revenge back.
“Sweetheart” Spider’s voice came from behind.
“Baby” He smiled and looked back.
“What are you doing?” She asked, walking closer.
“This” He replied and pointed at the screen.
He clicked on the video and she started watching till the end.
She faced him with a big shock on her face.
“What!!!”
The news was trending in the university and all over the city.
Students kept talking about it as they moved around, harsh comments kept coming from them especially those Charlotte bullied in the past.

Shane came out of the car with Rona and Seth too came out of his car.

Loud shocked screams filled the whole area and some students almost passed out when they saw the faces of the two look alikes.
“What’s this?” Rona asked shockingly.
The loud screams went as far as getting to other majors, and they started coming out to watch the drama. The place was soon crowded with students and lecturers.
“Am I seeing things right now?” Rona blinked.
How can two Shane appear at the same time??
Shane’s eyes widened as he stared at Seth who was looking back at him.

Shane left Rona’s side and started walking to Seth. Seth left his car and started walking to Shane. They met on the way and stopped, staring at each other.
“Who are you?” Shane asked.
Seth smiled displaying his cute deep dimples.
“I’m Seth” Seth replied.
“How come we have the same face?” Shane asked.
“You don’t remember me?” Seth asked sadly.
“Did I know you before?” Shane asked.
“Are you serious? Tell me it’s a joke Shane”
“You know my name too? I don’t know you”
How come everything about them is the same? There was no difference about them except the dressing code.
Seth sniffed back his tears. It hurts seeing your twin saying he doesn’t know you. His memories were wiped right? It must be.
Seth quickly turned back and rushed to his car, he got inside and drove out of the school.
“Shocking things started happening yesterday” Rona said.
“Who would have believed Charlotte wasn’t Andrew’s child but Mandy” Erica said.
“I wonder how Mandy will be feeling right now” Rona muttered.
“She will understand, wait, does Shane have a twin brother?”
“No, he doesn’t even know the guy but I’m having this feeling that there’s a connection between them” Rona replied.
“But how can two people look exactly alike?”
“Ever heard about doppelgangers?”
“Maybe I will believe it exists” Erica sighed heavily.
“Angelique is heartbroken, Valentino got someone’s pregnant and right now she’s crying her eyes out, I warned her” Erica said.
“What!! Can today get better?” Rona said.
Stella and Rose entered the mansion and ran straight to Charlotte’s room, they got there and barged inside immediately.
They stopped as they saw her sitting on the ground, her back leaning on the wall. She was looking like a total mess.
“Charlotte” Stella called, and she looked up with teary eyes.
“Charlotte” Rose called, moving closer to her.
“My life is ruined, my mum ruined my life, she has ruined my life” Charlotte started crying again.
Stella looked at Rose and they sighed heavily. How are they going to break the news to her?
“Charlotte, we are sorry…
“But what?” Charlotte asked as a new round of tears fell from her eyes.
“You’re expelled from the university, the authorities expelled you for trying to murder Rona” Rose said.
Charlotte looked at them blankly before fainting on the ground.
“Charlotte!!!!!!!!”
Shane’s car stopped in front of the old building and he came out. This is where Blue asked him to meet up with him.
Shane was walking out of his office when his phone started ringing. He stopped and answered the call.
“Seems you have trained your little girl, you are really smart” The voice laughed.
“You are such a coward Blue” Shane said, mocking him.
“Meet me at the address I’m sending to you, face me if you are not afraid of me” Blue said with an angry voice.
“You want to die so early?” Shane asked.
“Meet there bastard if you are not afraid of me” Blue said and hung up.
Shane looked around before entering the old building, he was very observant as he walked inside the building.
He suddenly heard footsteps coming ahead of him and he stopped walking.
Four guys appeared in black suits and blocked his way.
“Where’s Blue?” He asked but none of them said a word.
His eyes suddenly caught something on their bodies, below their necks there was a red tiny light blinking silently.
“Get out of there now Shane” Jonathan’s voice said.
“Nathan, Why?”
“Don’t you find anything suspicious? You’re Lucifer..
“I do”
“Those guys aren’t humans, they are human bombs, it’s a trap, Blue is not in the building, get out of there” Spider said.
“You have only Füçking twenty seconds to get out of there” Jonathan said.
Immediately Shane started running out of the building, he’s a fast runner so he was able to get out of the building before the last second.
The building blew up in front of him immediately he landed outside.
Blue’s call rang on his phone instantly.
“You’re really smart and sensitive, sharp instincts and sense, you’re Lucifer though” Blue laughed.
“You really think you get me using this trap?” Shane asked angrily.
“But I have your tiny little girl, hahahaha, how about that?” Blue shouted.
“What!!!!”
Shane hung up the call and entered his car, he drove speedily till he got home. He got out of the car without caring to park the car properly.
He dashed into the house and his eyes widened when he saw her phone on the ground together with her bracelet. The same bracelet she got from him.
He also saw a tranquilizer syringe on the ground beside the phone and bracelet.
“NO!!!!!!!!!!!!” He shouted and for the very first time, tears came out of his beautiful eyes.
