“Save the others,” he muttered and fell onto Maikel’s shoulder, while the others’ jaws dropped open and their hands fell weakly.

“Nash,” Maikel swallowed nothing in particular as he tried to hold onto Nash, causing them both to fall in the process.

“Nash,” Maikel called, while the evil man laughed so hard. He was patiently waiting for Nash’s soul to leave his body, but nothing of the sort happened.

“Who are you? How dare you touch my brothers?” Alistair cried, and that seemed to anger the man, as he needed to feed on Nash’s soul, but none came. So, angrily, he faced the other five boys, and unseen powers lifted them, holding them above the ground.

“No… please stop, don’t hurt any one of them,” Maikel screamed in tears as he stared at Nash’s body turning pale.

“Wake up now, else I’ll K!SS you,” he said, but Nash didn’t bat an eyelash. He was confused. Gently, he placed Nash’s head on the floor and stood up. He made to go to the man, but a force held him too.

“Maikel…” Sweetheart gasped for air as his face began to turn red.

The man was now laughing, but everything was cut short when his hand was cut off. An agonized cry left his mouth, and thunder struck hard.

He turned to see who it was, but whoever it was moved with super speed towards him this time, running a sword through his belly.

“You…” the man said as he stared at his stomach. It was the first time in his life he had bled.

“Yes, we…” Blueberry and Mu Yul smirked dangerously. The man coughed out blood, and slowly, things began to return to normal, like the light of a normal day. The man staggered and weakly vanished from there. The boys, who were all floating around, dropped heavily to the ground. They rushed to Nash at once.

Mu Yul’s sword quickly vanished too.

“Are you sure he won’t survive it? Do you want me to trust this ‘ sword of hell?’ ” Blueberry asked, and Mu Yul nodded.

“What will happen to him?” Mu Yul asked. Nash’s soul hadn’t left his body yet, indicating he had a strong will to survive.

‘ You can’t keep granting her wish as she wants, but you can if you feel like doing so’ Blueberry recalled those words, and he sighed.

” Why are those grim reapers standing there?” He asked after seeing seven pale looking guys at a corner.

“They were expecting seven souls just now, but you just changed fate,” Mu Yul replied, moving his gaze to the boys who were crying.

The teachers all ran to the scene, while some students were taking pictures of the seven boys. Blueberry glanced at them and turned to leave but hesitated.

“I wasn’t sent to help others, but I think Devyn will be happy if I do this,” He said in his head and began walking towards where the crowd was.

Lizzy stood in stunned silence. When had their school transformed into such chaos? When did students start loosing their lives? Fear gripped her, making it impossible to take even a single step. Students filmed short videos, while Devyn and Lesley watched, tears streaming down their faces.

“Will he be alright?” Devyn asked worriedly.

“I hope so,” Lesley replied, her voice tinged with uncertainty.

Blueberry walked through the crowd till he got to where they were. He helped placed Nash on Maikel’s back.

” I’ll be there to help. Take him to the house and use water and a towel to clean the stabbed area,” he said, and Maikel nodded.

👥 Is he dead?

👥 Last time was Ian; hope all is well.

👥 What really happened?

“What is really happening?”

“Let’s go,” Miss Rachel made way for them as they left for their residence. Blueberry faced Mu Yul, who nodded. He walked towards Mu Yul and pulled out a single strand of his hair.

“Ouch! What was that for?” Mu Yul threw him a harsh glare.

“Who knows,” Blueberry replied. “See you soon.” He added, and Mu Yul nodded.

Everyone was distracted, so Mu Yul vanished from the place without the students’ knowledge. Blueberry followed MARVINS, led by Miss Rachel, while other teachers ushered the students to their respective classes.

DAENG COMMERCIALS.

After the sudden change in weather, Cecilia was lost in thought, with her mind focused on her daughter.

“Is she and Blueberry okay?”

“Hey, Cecilia,” a voice brought her back to reality, and she looked up.

“Oh, Miss Cherry,” She called, standing up from her seat.

“Are you troubled? Thinking about Mr. Jayden?” Cherry asked, and she frowned.

“Thinking about Mr. Jayden? Why would I do that when I have a son and a daughter to think of?” Cecilia frowned. Cherry was Jayden’s secretary.

“A son? I thought you only had Devyn,” She asked, and Cecilia sighed.

“Just had a son,” she replied. ” What brings you here? Does Mr. Jayden want me in his office? Or was he not pleased with the data I processed yesterday?”

“Ah, not that. I was just curious. I heard other employees saying Mr. Jayden picked you up after work last night,” Cherry said, and Cecilia chuckled.

Her brain immediately kicked into gear, and she remembered Cherry wearing a pink blouse and coat P@ŋts the previous day. She silently scoffed.

“You cooked up the rumors, right?” She thought to herself, before smiling at Cherry.

“Hmm, he did pick me up yesterday. It’s no rumor, it’s true,” She said, and Cherry tried not to frown. She wanted to believe it wasn’t Cecilia she saw last night, but here she is, accepting the fact.

“If that’s all, I’d like to continue with what’s before me,” Cecilia said and sat back, while Cherry forced a smile.

“Alright, I’ll take my leave,” Cherry said, and Cecilia smiled at her as she watched her go.

“Some humans,” Cecilia sighed.

A message was sent to the school website, urging the students to go home. Devyn and Lesley decided to wait for Blueberry since he was inside with MARVINS. Other students weren’t allowed in their residence, but Blueberry was granted entry since he said he could save Nash.

He left the mansion, to see Devyn and Lesley waiting.

“You can go home. Don’t worry, they’ll be fine,” He assured them. Before Devyn could speak, he walked back into the mansion. Devyn sighed as she reluctantly left the place with Lesley, where they came across Lizzy.

“How is he? Did you get to see them?” Lizzy asked, and they shook their heads. Lizzy pouted sadly as she glanced at Marvins’ residence one last time.

” I’m sorry I couldn’t be of help” She muttered and cleaned her tears. Lesley and Devyn only stared before walking out of the scene

“You want to be in the room with him?” Valerie said skeptically. “I don’t trust you, cos I’ve never seen you,” He added and Maikel gently touched his arm.

“Do you believe him? ” Valerie asked, turning to Maikel. He let out a sigh.

“I want to, okay? I can’t watch Nash die, and I’m sure none of you want that either,” Maikel replied, and they all sighed in agreement.

“Insane, are you sure you can do it? The last time I checked, you weren’t a doctor” Miss Rachel said, her concern evident. Blueberry turned to her.

” The name is Blueberry, Miss Rachel ”

” Right!”

” Can you please excuse us? There are things I want to explain to them alone,” he requested.

“No, she can’t. You’re the one we don’t trust here,” Rema replied, and Blueberry shrugged.

“Fine, then all of you should excuse me,” He said, pushing them out of the room and locking the door behind him.

“Why are they so stubborn?” He wondered as he faced Nash.

“I see you don’t want to die. Why? Are you concerned about your other friends?” Blueberry asked, sitting next to Nash’s pale body.

“You should all be grateful to have someone who always wishes you well,” Blueberry muttered as he placed his hand on Nash’s wound.

“I wish for him to heal. This isn’t Devyn’s wish but mine. Let this gentle soul who still thinks of his friends even at death be revived,” He said, closing his eyes. He felt a spark leave him and enter Nash. Everywhere glowed brightly for a few seconds, and when he withdrew his hand, Nash’s eyes snapped open.

“Maikel…” Nash uttered as soon as he regained consciousness. He hadn’t even noticed someone was with him until he attempted to get out of bed.

“Are you okay?” Blueberry asked.

“Ahhhhh!” Nash screamed, startled by the unfamiliar voice. He looked up to see who it was and furrowed his brow.

“Who are you? What are you doing in my room?” He asked gently.

“I just saved your life,” Blueberry muttered and stood up. The other boys who heard the loud scream rushed to the door.

“What are you doing to him?” They cried, while Blueberry urged Nash to open the door for his brothers who were waiting.

Nash opened it, and his brothers all surrounded him.

“Nash…” they cried, but he was confused. Why were they crying as if he had died?

“Hey, I didn’t die, okay? I was unconscious. Why would I leave you guys behind? Of course I can’t,” He reassured them, and they hugged again.

“Maikel, I didn’t forget about the K!SS. I heard that,” Nash said, and the boys burst into laughter.

“It’s not funny. And you should stop doing that. Don’t get hurt for my sake” Maikel warned, while Nash smiled and hugged him instead. This time, they all began to sob.

Blueberry found a place to sit and stared at everything in the house. His eyes met the fridge, and he went for it. He saw a cup of yogurt and wondered what it was. Nevertheless, he took it and opened it. He dipped a finger into it but quickly removed it because it was cold. His eyes surveyed the house and located the kitchen. He grabbed a spoon and started scooping spoonfuls of the yoghurt into his mouth.

“Hmm…” He Mõ@ɲed sweetly, and within minutes, the ten cups of yogurt in the fridge were finished, while he held the last one, eating from it.

The boys blinked rapidly as they faced him. Ten empty yogurt cups were lying next to him while he was eating the last one. A burp escaped his mouth when he was done.

” Such a pleasant life humans enjoy. If Mu Yul was here, I would have given him some,” he muttered and looked up, only to see eyes fixed on him.

He licked his lips and dropped the last cup on the table beside him.

“Who are you?” Nash asked, and Blueberry licked his lips again, still tasting the sweetness of the yogurt.

“I’m someone who isn’t supposed to be here. There are two of us actually. My second isn’t here, and again, get me a few more of these so I can feed him,” He said, standing up.

“Thanks for that though. It was delicious,” He said and made to leave but stopped at the door. The boys and Miss Rachel stared at him.

“That man you saw earlier, he’s a soul-eating beast that feasts on human’s soul. So make sure you caution how you faint because you might not wake up,” He said, and the boys had their brows raised in confusion.

“A soul-eating beast?” they asked.

“He almost ate your soul, but…” he stopped.

“A soul-eating beast, you say. Then why is he attacking us?” Sweetheart asked, and Blueberry sighed.

“How can I make you understand?” he wondered aloud.

“He’s after those with the Seven Star Channel so he can gain power. I can’t see if you all have that, but seeing how he targets you guys, you must all possess it. So I’ll advise you to be careful,” he flashed them a smile and then left.

“Seven Star Channel? Is he talking about the Big Dipper?” Valerie asked, and the boys turned to him. He explained how he read a book that stated the Big Dipper was related to the Seven Star Channel.

” Seven star channel? Doesn’t that mean our wishes gets granted faster than that of other people?” Rema asked.

“I don’t believe in fairy tales though,” Sweetheart said, hugging Nash again.

“Hyung, I miss you,” he said, and Nash hugged them again.

“Though I don’t seem to understand what he said, I hope you boys are careful and take good care of yourselves,” Miss Rachel said.

“I’ll take my leave now,” She added, and the boys nodded as they watched her go.

Lizzy couldn’t help but worry about Maikel and Nash. “Are they fine?”

“Was it my fault? Why didn’t I let go when he asked me nicely? Gosh!” She screamed, falling onto her bed and throwing her legs in the air.

Elvira didn’t seem bothered. To her, even if MARVINS all perished, she wouldn’t feel a single ounce of pity for them.

Zora had tried to comfort her about what Nash said, but she wouldn’t listen.

“What do you want me to do? How could you upload a picture of Valerie when you claimed to love him? If I were you, I would have threatened him with it instead of uploading it that way.”

“Is Harriet still mad at me?” Elvira asked.

“Even Elvire will beat the hell out of you if you leave your room.”

“How long do I have to stay here?”

“Until the day you apologize to Valerie. I’m sure he won’t forgive you, though. But you have to try,” Zora replied, and Elvira sighed.

“I’ll go get you something to eat,” Zora said and left Elvira’s room.

“You’re both so lucky you didn’t do it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind cutting ties with both of you,” Emerald said, and Honesty rolled her eyes.

“I told you it wasn’t me. I don’t know why you don’t want to believe me,” Gemma replied, and Emerald shrugged.

“I hope the boys are okay,” she muttered and stood up, heading to her room.

“I swear, Elvira won’t go scot-free for what she did to my Valerie.”
“Should we deal with her?” Gemma asked, and Honesty nodded. Belinda shook her head in pity as she stared at her friends.

“Don’t you both get tired of fighting?” she asked while they scoffed.

“It’s up to both of you to listen,” Belinda rolled her eyes before wearing her headphone.

Blueberry arrived home and informed Devyn that the boys were fine. He didn’t wait for her to respond because he needed to sleep, especially after eating eleven cups of yogurt.

“Where were you and Mu Yul during the incident?” she kept asking, but he didn’t provide any answers as he walked into his room.

“Are you okay?” she asked aloud.

“A little sleep will do. And please, tell Cecilia not to wake me for dinner. I ate a lot from those guys,” Blueberry replied from his room, and Devyn shook her head.

“At least you could have answered the other questions,” she said but she received no response from him.

“That diçkhead,” she cursed and sat on the couch.

“It’s a good thing they’re all fine now,” she smiled.

NEXT DAY

Devyn was prepared to go to school when her notifications kept making annoying sounds. She sighed and decided to check what it was. Her mouth went wide open.

It was a video showing Nash lying lifeless on Maikel’s lap, while the others were crying, with the caption: “A MYSTERIOUS INCIDENT ALMOST CLAIMS THE LIVES OF MARVINS.”

“This isn’t good,” she muttered and left her room. Blueberry was also ready, but he was in the dining area eating breakfast.

He felt something off in his school trousers, so he dipped his hands into the pocket and noticed Mu Yul’s hair radiating and shaking.

“Mu Yul,” he muttered and stood up immediately.

“Devyn, go without me. I’ll meet you at school. I need to go somewhere,” he said and rushed out of the house.

“Are you both in a hurry?” Cecilia asked, and Devyn smiled before running out of the house too.

UNDERWORLD

Mu Yul could be seen in a dark room, with loud cries echoing in his ears as he groaned. His hands were chained, preventing him from covering his ears. The loud shouts seemed to be causing him trauma, although he couldn’t remember anything about himself. The only memory he had was of being pulled into a dark room and locked inside when he was still alive.

Yeomra walked into the dark room. Though Mu Yul couldn’t see her, he knew it was her.

“Why are you doing this?” he cried out.

“I gave you a warning to stay out of the affairs of humans, and what? You came here and stole the Sword of Hell just to save humans?” Yeomra’s thunderous voice echoed.

“I believe I was like them. I believe I was also struggling to live, just like that boy. What did I do that was so wrong? Death is something everyone is scared of…” Mu Yul didn’t complete his statement when a slap landed on his cheek.

“Just a few days with humans, and you’re already developing feelings towards them? If this continues…” she paused.

“What will you do?” Yeomra heard, and she turned, only to see the room glittering with light. Recognizing who it was, she frowned.

“What are you doing in the Underworld? And how did you find him?” she asked.

“I knew this would happen, so his hair led me here. I’m here to take him away because he promised to take me to the amusement park,” Blueberry smiled.

“You should leave, Berry,” Mu Yul said.

“Of course I will. Who said I came to save you? I just want you to keep your promise, that’s all,” He replied, and Mu Yul sighed.

“You can’t save me unless she agrees to it.”

“Well, let’s see about that,” Blueberry smirked and moved towards Mu Yul. However, as soon as he took a step, an invisible string went through his arm, causing him to withdraw his hand with a laugh.

“Wow,” He chuckled annoyingly, and Yeomra smirked.

“Release him right now, or I’ll bring down this whole place,” Blueberry said with all seriousness, and Yeomra frowned.

“You’re not allowed to do this. You aren’t allowed to misuse your powers” Yeomra shouted, while he scoffed.

“You’re wrong. Unless I decide not to do it, then I’ll pass by. But not this time, because I won’t let go cos he’s coming with me,” he smirked. “I hope you release him,” he added with a smile, while Mu Yul stared at the guy who had become confident enough to stand up against Yeomra.

The news was everywhere, not only on the school website but also being broadcasted live.

Anyone could tell MARVINS weren’t happy with the expression on their faces, yet they tried to play alright with no one trying to say what was wrong.

” Let’s go to class” Rema muttered and they all left the house. Passing through the hall way, the students screamed their names, but this time, they waved with no smile on their faces.

👥 What’s wrong?

👥 Is it because of yesterday’s incident?.

The students wondered aloud yet the boys said no words until they got into their class.

Lizzy tried to hug Maikel immediately she sighted them, but he shifted back, and she felt bad. She glanced at Nash, who shrugged before going to his seat.

Elvira stood up and went to Valerie, who was facing his brothers. “I feel burdened with her here. I’ll go take some fresh air,” He said, and Sweetheart stood up to follow him.

“I’ll be fine,” he told him and walked out of the class. Elvira bit her lower lip, while Lizzy scoffed at her attitude before taking her seat.

Valerie entered the practice hall and sat in front of the keyboard, playing a rhythm his mom had taught him. He closed his eyes as he softly played.

Devyn, who had come to check if MARVINS were at the practice hall so she could talk to them, only found Valerie playing.

“Wow, he plays well,” she muttered and turned to leave. However, she stopped when she felt the melody sounded familiar. She walked to Valerie and stood behind him until he played the entire song. That seemed to calm him down a bit, so he stood up, and turned to see Devyn behind him.

“Hey, Devyn ” He waved and made to leave, but she spoke up.

“That song, how did you know it?” she asked.

“Why?” he asked, but she remained silent as she stared at him.

” My mom… It was a song she said her husband sang to her on their wedding… Why?” he asked, and she approached him until they were standing close.

She took a good look at him, then laughed like a maniac.

“You… You’re Kelvin, aren’t you?” She asked seriously, and he blinked rapidly.

“How did… Wait…” His eyes widened as reality hit him hard.

He was standing before his childhood crush without even knowing it?
