**** Yokohama Japan
It was a raining night at the city of Yokohama people could be seen moving to and fro at the busy road along with cars and bikes .
Among the pedestrian a lady could be seen dressed in a black leather pants and coat ,she wasn’t using an umbrella so her clothes were soaking wet and dripping . She carefully walked down an alleyway ignoring a dreaded darkness surrounding her and after a long walk she finally entered her apartment which is little bit dark.
“Ashhh what a Fuçk day “she mumbled and took off her wet coat , she toss the coat on the floor and then locate the light switch .
“Hello Camila” someone said the moment she turn on the light and she flinch , she quickly rush towards her drawer to get her gun but to her greatest surprise she could no longer find it .
“Looking for this “the intruder said and lift up the silver colour pistol , her heart throb fast as she stared at the well dressed man in her room.
“Who the Fuçk are you and how did you even get in when my door is lock “she ask
“Hahaha I kinds messed with your lock anyways that’s not why am here ,please seat “he said pointing at a chair behind Camila , her expression was hard as she show no form of fear .
” Am sure you wouldn’t want me to shoot your legs “he said and point the gun at her ,she huff and carefully seat down and he smile .
” Good girl , my name is Lance and am here to discuss something very important” detective Lance said smiling while Camila glare dagger at him .
” 22 years ago a wealthy family lost their daughter am sure you can remember ”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about ” she said calmly , detective Lance giggle .
” Oh I see maybe this will enhance your memory ” he said and place 3 pictures on the table , Camila throat dry as she stared at it .
” 22 years ago the el Rosa family welcome their baby girl and 2 months later the baby girl was taken by a nurse and that was the last time the baby was seen or heard from . Now listen carefully I have just 2 questions to ask and if you fail to give me the correct answer then am gonna make use of my gun “he said and Camila swallow hard .
“First of all where is Isabella el Rosa and secondly who asked you to kidnap the baby . ” He ask and carefully point the gun at her , sweat roll down her forehead as she stared at the gun .
“Look Ohio don’t I don’t know what you…”
“Bang “was the next sound heard and Camila shriek out as she heard the gun shot , Lance pull the trigger but the bullet was directed at the glass cup beside her .
” The next bullet will go directly to you skull , now start talking “he said coldly , Camila saw the danger and no one needed to tell her she’s at the devil’s mouth .
“Look first of all I don’t have the baby with me , look I swear I…”
“Where is she ” Lance cut in and Camila gulp down , her lips tremble as she try to speak but nothing came out .
” Speak “he holler and the flinch and almost fell off the chair .
” I…I… I abandoned the baby inside a trash truck at St Mary’s street “she said and Lance gasp .
“You left a 2 months old baby in a garbage truck how heartless can you be “he snap
” I was asked the kill her but I couldn’t ,I couldn’t an innocent child so..so I abandoned her in a garbage truck ”
“It was a freaking September night , a cold and freaking season . Even if you didn’t kill her with your hands your actions alone is enough to kill her . Sh|t “Lance sigh out in frustration .
” And for the second question who the hell sent you ” he ask and instantly Camila face flush white and her heart thunder hard inside her chest , she dare not speak the unspeakable else she’s as good as dead .
“I said who sent you ”
“Am sorry but..but I can’t tell you that , he’s gonna kill me please I don’t wanna die ” she cried , Lance rose up and point the gun directly at her head while glaring dangerously at her .
“I don’t have all day so start talking who the Fuçk sent you , who were you working for . What is the person connection to the el Rosa household “he yell at Camila who quivered, more tears pour out from her ears .
“I can’t tell you who he is ,I…I can’t he’s gonna kill me ”
“What makes you think I won’t kill you first ” he said .
” He has my son as leverage, not scared of dying am only scared of what will happen to my son “she said bitterly, Lance huff and put down the gun and as soon as he did Camila leap forward and kick the gun away then she push him down , his head slam hard at the edge of a wooden couch .
“Ahh Fuçking Bîtch ” he wince and quickly stagger but she had already ran out of the apartment , he grab his gun and rush out hoping to get her on time but before he got outside she was no where to be found .
” Fuçking Çüñt “he said and touch his bleeding forehead , he quickly pull out his phone dialed a number .
” Good evening sir “a female voice rang out of the speakers .
“Eliza I want you to get me records of trash collection at the month of September 10 2001 at around 10: 00 pm . The trash point is St Mary’s street ”
“Okay sir give me 2 minutes to get into the unit data base “she said and hang up , he sigh and glance around hoping to catch a glimpse of Camila .
He walk back to his car which is packed under a tree and as soon as he entered into it his phone rang and he quickly took the call .
” September 10 2001 ,St Mary Street . Trash evacuation tool place at 10: 57 by track 1957AU and the trivet name is Santiago Tom currently retired . The truck disposed the trash at sype trash disposal point at sype town Northeast or central city “Elisa said
“Okay any other details ”
“Nope that’s all , is this still on the case of the el Rosa missing baby “she ask
” Thanks Elisa I owe you one “he ignore her question and hang up , he quickly log into his Google map app and search for sype town .
“Located outskirts of central city , I guess I will have to go there first before informing Mrs Cristal” he said to himself.
**** Sype town
Mrs Jenny sat inside her room with a small boss on her thigh , she slowly open the box and inside Is a baby design handkerchief, a necklace and a well design pin . The 3 items inside the box all had one think in common, a symbol of a multicoloured chameleon and a red butterfly was imprinted on them .
The handkerchief had the chameleon and butterfly boldly design on it ,the green crystal necklace also had the same design imprinted on it while the pin had IER printed on it . Below the handkerchief just under the chameleon IER was also imprinted there , she pink up the handkerchief and held it up .
“What are you doing Jenny ” Mr Mikki who just walked in ask and his wife sigh and put down the handkerchief.
” Mikki Maya birthday day is coming up in 3 days time “she said and Mr Mikki sigh
” I know I really miss her , anyways why are you with that “he ask staring at the box .
“This were the items I kept behind the day you brought her home , Mikki what if her real parents come to take her . What if…” She gulp down ,he sigh and quietly took a seat beside her .
” What ever happens in the future let’s home we do not run into trouble , no one is gonna take our daughter from us ” he assured her and she nodded calmly .
” Yeah no one will take her away ” she said to herself.
“Mmm I need to return back to my shop I gat alot of work to do there “he said and got up
” Be careful “she said
“Yeah don’t worry anyway see you later “he said and kiss her lips then he walk out .
She return her gaze back to the items deep down she has always dreaded the thought of losing Maya and will do anything to safe guard her daughter .
“Maybe I should burn this , yes I should burn it “she said and pick up the box ,she walk into the kitchen and carried a lighter then she went behind the house .
“Mom what are you doing “Dan ask the moment he saw her then his eyes widen when he saw the box on fire burning on the ground.
“What the hell mom , those are Maya’s” he yelled and quickly put off the fire but the handkerchief had already burn half.
“What are you doing Daniel”Mrs Jenny yell , he quickly pick up the half burn handkerchief and the necklace which is still in good shape .
” Are you sick mom , why are you burning this things “he ask but she glare dagger at him.
” I have to burn it ,it has no use to us “she said .
“No use this is the only items left which connects Maya to her real family”
“We are her family Daniel , there’s no other family aside from us .”she snap and Dan arch his brows .
“Look mom I don’t know what’s going on in your head but I can’t let you burn the only information left of Maya real identity ,what if she finds out one day and try to search for…”
“Shut up Daniel , shut the hell up . Maya will never find out and she will never search for her family because they don’t even know if she’s alive “she snap again , Dan click his tongue .
“Mom Maya family out there , the logo imprinted on this handkerchief, necklace and the writings on the pin can help her locate her family . Wealthy families from the big city all have their own crest and logo which is use to identify them from generation to generation. The logo on this handkerchief is not just a design it’s a crest which prove that she’s a from a wealthy family ”
“Enough I don’t wanna hear a word from you now hand over those things now “she demand while glaring at him .
” Even if you burn all this Maya will eventually find the light , nothing is hidden for ever ”
“Shut up and hand it over “she snap .
” Do you know what IER means , do you know who’s family uses a multicoloured chameleon and a butterfly ” he ask , Mrs Jenny swallow hard as she stared at her son .
” Daniel “she grit her teeth .
” The ER means El Rosa , I did my research on that symbol and found out the el Rosa are the only ones in America who make use of that logo . Most of their designs has that logo , mom Maya is working for Mrs Cristal el Rosa so no matter what you do the truth will eventually come out . The truth that Maya is Isabella el Rosa and there’s nothing you will do about it “he said and a hot slap land on his cheek .
“Shut up idiot , her name is Amaya..Amaya and not Isabella and she’s my daughter “she scream out loud ..
**** Private jet
Inside the well decorated private jet mrs Cristal was seated while Maya was sleeping peacefully with her head on Mrs Cristal thigh , Mrs Cristal ran her hand on Maya hair while staring at her sleeping face . The connection between her and this girl is getting pretty strong and she’s left to wonder why .
“She’s so pretty , am sure if my Isabella was here she would be like Maya . I wonder where my daughter is , have she eaten , is she still alive , is she living a good life , is she comfortable, is she being maltreated by anyone ,is she married , is she dead ,is she sick , is she happy ” tears roll down her cheek as she think about all this , she smile sadly and wipe her tears and just then he phone rang and it was call from detective Lance .
” Hey Lance “she said after picking the call
“You have a lead on Isabella “she said with eyes wide open ,hope instantly flush down her body .
“Sype town , the lead is pointing at sype town. Okay thanks for the update “she said and hang up , she manage to smile but then something hit a bell on her head and she glance down at Maya .
” Am from sype town a small town outside the city ” she membered Maya said this few minutes ago before falling asleep .
“She’s from sype town , the same town Lance is talking about “she grumble .
