Chapter 45
He grinned and placed his hand on her cheek, gazing at her before bringing his eyes to her lips.

Kiara gave him a quick peck on the lips before bringing her eyes back to the clothes she was folding.
“Come on” He said, wrapping his arms tightly around her.
She chuckled “I’m still packing”She reminded him
He sighed and later let out a grin before he began planting kisses on her neck, playfully.
“Hey” She said amidst her giggles.
She turned to face him and he pecked her lips, smiling at her. She bit her lower lip and stared at him. Her hands released the cloth it held and went up to his face. She let her lips brush his lower lip and also give it a gentle suck before looking up at him.
Erik looked down at her, holding her gaze as he unwrapped his arms around her waist, slowly bringing it down to her hips and encircled his lips around hers afterwards.
Kiara smiled into the kiss as it sent waves of excitement through her. Her hands slowly came down to his shoulders, brushing his earlobe in the process.
That little unplanned gesture of hers increased the sparks already coursing through him. His hold on her hips became firm as his tongue rolled into her mouth, winding around her tongue and sucking it.
Her tongue curled under his as he sucked while her fingers rested firmly on his shoulder, moving sideways occasionally, caressing him.
Their lips moved in sync as their tongues moved back and forth in each other’s mouths.
Erik pulled away from the kiss a couple of minutes later with a gentle brush of his tongue against her lower lip.
He rested his forehead on hers, smiling down at her.
Her face was all smiles also as she stared up at him.
Daphne left the kitchen to go to the living room when she heard a knock on the door.
“What are you doing here?”She questioned in surprise when she met Lex at the door after opening it.
“I told you I’d be back to check up on you”He said.
She chuckled “I’m home now, I’m no longer at the hospital. You can quit coming to check up on me”
“I still have to make sure you stick to all of those things the doctor said that day”
“No you don’t”She shook her head.
“Please just let me in and don’t turn this into an argument?”Lex pleaded.
Daphne stepped away from the door before releasing a scoff.
“I didn’t realize I was the kind of person who unnecessarily brings up arguments”
Lex close the door.
“No, you’re not. But,when it comes to me,you…sort of become that person”He said and faced her “Why do you love arguing with me?” He moved closer to her. “Do you like me or what?”He chuckled
“I wouldn’t argue with someone I like”
“No, people argue most with the people they like” He said and grinned at her
She laughed”What? You think every lady you come across will fall for you because of your handsome face?”
He chuckled”If I’m not mistaken, I’d say you think I’m handsome”
“No I don’t”She denied
“Well,”He took a step closer to her “You may not. But,I think you’re pretty”He smiled at her “You are pretty”
