“You,What are you doing here?”Vera asked
shockingly.
“Well as you can see am your new boss,”Clark
replied.
“Are you stucking me?”Vera asked.
“And why would I?”Clark scoffs then he pick up
the coffee and sips a bit,he spat the coffee out
immediately.
“What the hell is this?”Clark yelled and Vera
looked at him shockingly.
“Are you planning to kill me?”Clark added.
“i don’t know what you are talking about?”Vera
asked confusingly.
“what don’t you taste the coffee?”Clark said and
hand over the coffee to Vera. Vera took a sip
and spat it immediately.
“I didn’t know it taste like this,”Vera said.
“go and make me another coffee,”clark
demanded then Vera left to make another
coffee for him but he also rejected the coffee
and told her to make another one.
“Ahhh,I will soo much kill you Clark Medina,
“Vera said to herself immediately she step out
of his office.
Clark wasn’t expecting Vera to be one of his
employees,he was shocked to see her and also
excited because he can’t wait to teach her a
lesson for what she did to him the other day.
Clark make sure he send Vera on different
errands,he even sent her to look for an old file of
the company. Vera was very tired and she kept
on cursing Clark in her mind.
“I will make sure I revenge,”Vera smirks.
**IN THE NIGHT**
It was already late when Vera found the file
then she head straight to Clark’s office and drop
the file.
“This is the file you asked for,”Vera said and
drop the file then she left his office
immediately.
“It late,I hope I see a cab,”Vera mumbled to
herself then she picked up her bag and left the
hotel.
Vera walk down the street because she
couldn’t find a cab, suddenly a car horn which
makes her to turn back to look at the person.
The car horn to her attention then the car stop in
front then Clark step out of the car.
“Get in,I will drop you home,”Clark said.
“You don’t need to,I will get a cab soon,”Vera
replied.
“Stop being stubborn and get in the car,you
won’t find a cab because it already late,”Clark
said.
“You are the reason why am late,”Vera replied.
“And that why I want to drop you off at your
apartment,”Clark replied.
Vera thought it over and decided to allow him
drop her off at her apartment. The ride to the
apartment was very silent,the two of them
decided to keep their thoughts to themselves.
Some minutes later,they arrived at the
apartment.
“Thanks for the ride,”Vera said immediately she
step out of the car.
“It my duty,”Clark replied.
“See you tomorrow then,”Vera said.
“Sure,”Clark replied and drove off.
Vera stare as the car drove off and sigh then
she entered the apartment.
“Hey bestie,”Vera greeted immediately she step
into the apartment.
“Hey,you are late today,”Ella replied.
“Yeah,I have some much to do today,”Vera
replied and slum her body on the couch then
she begin to remove her shoes.
“Today was soo hectic and also I have a new
boss,”Vera said.
“Sorry bestie,did your new boss stress you?”Ella
asked worriedly.
“Alot,”Vera replied then she explained what
happened at the office.
“I wasn’t even expecting him to be my boss and
am sure he stress me out just to revenge for
what I did to him,”Vera explained.
“sorry bestie,”Ella said and hug her tight.
**THE NEXT DAY**
**AT THE MAXWELL COMPANY**
“Sir,one of the company decided to invest in our
business,”Lious’s personal assistant reported to
lious.
“Let them know we will like to meet them to
discuss more about the business,”Lious replied.
“Okay sir,”he replied.
“You may leave,”Lious said then he left his
office.
Ella step into the office immediately Lious’s
personal assistant left.
“Here is the file sir,”Ella said and drop the file on
his desk.
“It Lious for you,”Lious replied and stare at her,
Ella rolled her eyes at him.
“You should stop rolling your eyes like that,
“Lious warned.
“And why shouldn’t I?”Ella asked.
“Whenever you roll your eyes it makes you look
more sëxy and irresistible,it turns me on seeing
you like that,”Lious answered which ella blush.
“You look soo geogerous Ella,”lious said and
walk over to her.
“thanks for the compliment,”Ella replied.
“A company has decided to work with us,”Lious
announce.
“wow,that great news,”Ella giggled.
“You look soo happy than me,”Lious said.
“Aren’t you happy that you were able to find a
company that will help you invest in your
business?”Ella asked.
“Iam but,”lious trail off.
“But what?”Ella asked curiously.
“I don’t know w anything about the company
and they just decided to help me,”Lious explain.
“Am sure you will get to know more about them
when you both start to work together,”Ella
replied.
“yes, you are right Ella,”lious said.
**AT THE MAXWELL MANSION**
“Sir,a lady is here to see you,”one of the guards
announce.
“Who is she?”Diego asked.
“I have no idea sir but she request to see you
and madam,”the guard replied.
“Let her in,”Emily said then the guard left to
bring the lady.
“Who could he be talking about?”Diego
mumbled to himself.
Not long,the guard came in with the lady and
both Emily and Diego were shocked to see her.
“You,”Diego yelled angrily.
“What the hell are you doing here?”Emily asked.
“It soo nice to see you guys again….,” The lady
said with a smirk on her face…
