“Here mom, have your medications” I took the medications from Amelia to use.
“I warned you and Daniel not to go against Vincent but you wouldn’t just listen and you’ll never win over him” She mumbled dropping the Mug on the stool beside her.
I huffed at her words.
“Will you shut up this instant? ” I scolded while she rudely rolled her eyes.
“Seriously, Are you sure I’m your mother? ” I scoffed wondering why she never took after me for once.
She chuckled and smiled.
“I don’t think so too,” She mumbled.
The door swiftly opened and Daniel walked having a grin on his face.
“Mom, Are you okay now? “‘ He asked as he sat at the edge of the hospital bed.
” Yeah Dan, I’m good” I gave him assuring smile but Amelia scoffed,
“You had better find a way to get my phone back” Amelia mumbled close to him and he glared hard at her.
“Shut your silly mouth and get out, wanna discuss with mom” He told her but she shook her head, what a stubborn kiddo.
“Amelia please” I pleaded and that is when she finally gave up.
“Fine fine, I will leave” She walked out of the room, as soon as she left, Dan turned to me.
“What is it that you wanna show me? ” I asked him.
“Here,Mrs Smith is back and she is claiming Her daughter is betrothed to Vincent, it’s all over the news’ ‘ He said and I was quite surprised.
“Mrs Smith is back in the city? ” I asked at first and he nodded.
“Yes and Stella, I meet with her last night” He met with Mrs. Smith’s daughter??
“You met with Stella, for what? Why did yiu do that? ” I asked and he suddenly had a grin on his lips.
“I want to get back at Skylar for betraying us” He replied and I scoffed.
“So what did you do? ” I asked curiously and He smile.
“You will know later” He said but I furrowed my brows wondering what thus boy is up to.
The news about Mrs Smith is still shocking to me. I quite know Mrs Smith. She is after something. When is Vincent betrothed to Her daughter? Or is she after what I’m after?

I pulled her closer to me, nuzzling her neck. Her body feels warm against mine.
“Hmmm” I heard her hummed while I smiled.
“Good Morning Angel” I whispered to her ear and she chuckled.
“Good Morning” She replied, snuggling more under me.
“You smell so nice” I uttered while she chuckled.
“Thank you, I should get down to help Ma’am Gina, Oh right I almost forgot, You got a new wife now” She sarcastically said.
“Come on, she is not my wife, she will never be, you are the only one” I reassured.
“Fine, fine I hope so” I heard her movement beside me.
“I will be downstairs” I heard her retorted and the shut of the door follows.
I really wished all this would stop. Obviously, she is not happy with the fact that I’m betrothed to another person. Of course, she can’t be and why I didn’t want her to know in the first place.
“Sir Good Morning” Ben’s voice interrupted my thinking and I sat up.
“Ben, how was your night?” I only heard him clear his throat, making my brows furrowed. Is something wrong?
“Sir, There is no turning back in this, it’s all over the news” He spouted.
“What is all over the news? ” I questioned.
“Mrs Smith disclosed it all over the internet that you are betrothed to her daughter” He spilled out.
No Fuçking way she will do that! Of course she can’t do that to me.
“Tell me you are kidding? What?! ” I Grunted in anger. Why is she going this far?

“Hey Mama” I took the knife from her,
“Pretty Secretary, You are awake” She beamed and I shrugged.
“You know it is not his fault right?” She speaks up,I look up at her stopping what I’m cutting.
“But he should tell me right? Instead he hid it” I spilled the painful part.
“He was just scared to do so, He is scared you might leave, I know him too well” I nodded and smiled.
“I know right, That is why I’m still here” I told her and she smiled, we heard someone clear their throat and we both turned to see the Bîtch she rolled her eyes and walked past us to the fridge, bringing out a cup and pouring herself hot coffee. So rude, not a good morning or something.
“So you are still here in someone else’s husband’s house right, have you no shame? ” She blurted out, I dropped the knife, annoyed by her words already.
“What? Shame? You are the one who is supposed to be ashamed of herself pushing herself on a man! Why can’t you just leave him alone? He doesn’t love you and he won’t” I snapped at her while her eyes widened.
“What? You this filthy Bîtch, how dare you shout at me? Do you know who I am? ” She yelled back, Seriously she is asking me?
“I don’t Fuçking care about who you are! ” I snapped back while I felt Ma’am hand on my shoulder trying to calm me down. She eyed and turned to go.
“Daughter of Bîtch!” She mumbled about walking out of the kitchen but I yanked her hair in anger while she yelped in pain.
“What did you just say? Bîtch? Let me just show you! ” I yelled, fuming.
“Skylar! Skylar, calm down” I heard Ma’am calling my name but I ignore. I need to teach this Bîtch how to talk.
” Bîtch, leave me alone” She yelped and tried to grab my hair too but she couldn’t.
“Skylar!! ” Someone pulled me away from her and I turned to see Amelia looking at me like I’ve lost it.

“What did you just do? She is going to tell her mother everything” Ma’am Gina said with a worried look and I scoffed.
” Who the hell is she? ” I huffed.
“Skylar, We have a problem already because it is all over the news” Amelia blurted out.
And I blinked my eyelashes.
“What is all over the news? ” I asked.
“That Vincent is betrothed to her, And Everyone is so curious now, what about you now?” She worried also.I breathed out and calmed down. It’s all over the news? That he is getting married, then what about me? What if he can’t break the contract? What is going to happen to us?
“Skylar” Ma’am Gina called moving closer to me. I ruffled my hair, confused about what you even do. He is going to marry her. What am I supposed to do now!
“I should leave” I said walking away.I got to his room to meet him dressed up but looking d@mn worried while Ben stood so close to him,I closed the door behind me, I picked up my bag from the bed.
“Skylar” He called and I nodded.
“I need to leave” I mumbled, not waiting for him to say anything. I walked out of his room. Maybe I should walk out of his life, but Can I do that?
