“I can’t stay away even if I want to…….so just kill me” Natasha said and Artemis couldn’t believe her ears.
She sighed out and the dark smoke all disappeared,she looked at Natasha with her powerful eyes and she stopped bleeding,the cough stopped also and Natasha’s breath became normal.
Artemis sat down on the couch and crossed her legs.
“Did you said that because you knew I wouldn’t kill you?” She asked and Natasha looked up.
“You wouldn’t?” She asked and Artemis sighed.
“I’m the goddess of the wilderness,the moon and hence I stay far away,but because I don’t want to belong in the darkness,I found Light Villa,I wouldn’t use my dark powers to kill,that’s my vow” Artemis said and Natasha swallowed.
“Sit down” Artemis said and Natasha got up,she sat down on the bed.
“The reason why my son became a beast is because…..he rejected his mate ” Artemis said and Natasha’s eyes widened.
“He rejected the mate the deity choose for him because…he was in love with Lamia’s mother,she was a human” Artemis said further and Natasha bit her lips,but she didn’t say a word.
“I don’t know if the woman really loved him back then,maybe I should also blame my son for keeping his real self from her,but it turned out that when he showed him his real self,her love for him vanished and he ran away from him. When he rejected his mate,the deal was to get the true love he’s leaving his mate for,he was so sure his human lover would never betray him,he was so in love with her,she was his weakness,until he was then betrayed and rejected by the woman he loved……..” Artemis was already in tears as she told Natasha all that,she stopped for a while.
Natasha stood up and went to sit beside her,she doesn’t even know how to console her but she did by caressing her back gently.
“He was cursed by the deity………but he had to take the pain all alone,Natasha,that’s how the supernatural world is. You might not know anything because you’re just a witch,a growing witch who doesn’t know anything,but for Lamia he’s different…..He’s recognized as the king of the supernatural beings because of his father’s blood….I don’t want him to make the same mistake his father made,no matter what,I can’t allow him reject his mate,maybe if I had persisted even more back then,my son would have listened to me and accept his mate no matter what….so half of it was my fault I know,but please….” She faced Natasha with teary eyes.
“Can you just do me this favor?? Can you please stay away from him? If you really love him,it’s obvious you do,but this kind of love…..isn’t meant to be,it will destroy him,if you don’t want that for him,then……stay away from him. You’re the only one he can listen to at this point……do we have a deal?” Artemis asked.
Natasha’s whole body was absolutely shaking,tears rolling down her eyes,then she nodded.
Minutes after Artemis left Natasha’s room,she was on the floor,crying her eyes out. The feeling of not being able to talk to Lamia was killing her inwardly but she have no choice.
‘You can do this Natasha’ she inwardly and wiped her tears.

NIGHT★DINNING HALL**
“I wonder if the goddess have decided the people going for the hunt” Damon said as they all ate.
“Hunt? Are we going to kill or something?” Thatcher scoffed and they laughed.
“Are you attacking me because of Sadie or what?” Damon asked and Sadie looked up.
“Sadie? Meaning?” Ruben asked.
“What,are you also crushing on her?” Chase smirked.
“You mean Thatcher have a crush on Sadie?” Speedy grinned.
Sadie bit her lips without looking up.
“I personally think they will make a good couple” Summer said and Eugene winked at her.
“But unfortunately,we are not here for that,let’s get the beast first” Summer added and Eugene frowned.
“All work and no romance makes Eugene a naughty poor,c’mon” Eugene groaned childishly and they laughed.
“Stop it you look ugly” Thatcher scoffed and Eugene slapped his head.
“Let me try checking to see your future” Skylar said with a smile.
“I don’t know why I always forget that she’s a seer” Bryant muttered.
“I know right?” Cat-Girl chuckled.
“By the way,what about Natasha and Lamia?” Winter asked.
“We should ask you where Natasha is and Eugene where Lamia is” Speedy said.
“What do you mean? You can also ask me where Lamia is” Thatcher said.
“Fine,where is he?” Eugene asked.
“No idea” Thatcher muttered and they laughed out.
Heaven was the only one who wasn’t enjoying the dinner or the talks,she was just eating for eating sake but her mind was with Lamia.

RIVER SIDE**
Lamia could see Natasha from afar as he walked closer,she was standing while crossing her arms,even though she was backing him,he could see the beauty. The sea breeze blowing her long hair all over giving the view a ten over ten,a smile escaped his lips and finally he got to her.
“Hey”
Natasha turned and Lamia raised his brows.
“What happened? Your face is somehow….”
“I’m fine” Natasha cut in and he kept quiet.
“I’m going to make this short,really short” Natasha muttered and Lamia became curious.
“Let’s stop wh@tëver we are doing…wh@tëver it is” Natasha said and Lamia shifted a bit closer,not getting what she meant.
“What are you talking about?” He asked.
“Lamia…..we both know where this might lead us to”
“I already said I don’t care,I will be the one to suffer for this not……..”
“And you think I will feel pleased and excited if you suffer because of me?!” Natasha snapped angrily and Lamia looked at her.
“Your granny told me everything,she told me why your father became a beast,because he rejected his mate and he was cursed,Lamia this isn’t working,it’s not going to work,we will just destroy things if we continue” Natasha said and Lamia breathe out before speaking up.
“Do you even love me?” He asked.
Natasha said nothing.
“I told you I am in love with you but you never gave me a reply or something I want to hear,I understand you might not have this feeling right now,but do you think I wouldn’t stop if I can? I can’t control my body when I am with Heaven but I think you’re the real weakness of mine because what I can’t control when I am with you is my heart,even if I try to give up….I don’t think I will be able to. So can you just let’s figure this out together?? I’m different from my father,if my mom betrayed him….I don’t think you will…….”
Natasha shook her head and looked at Lamia closely.
“You haven’t listen to my response yet…my reply to your confession” She said and Lamia swallowed.
“The truth is….I don’t love you Lamia” Natasha said and Lamia shook his head.
“I won’t believe that…….”
“Stop being a coward and listen to me!!” Natasha yelled.
“Do you really think after everything I know,,having demons inside of you,your father being the beast,your granny doesn’t even like me…you think I will still love you?? I never even loved you from the start,you must have mistook my kindness for love”
Lamia shook his head in tears.
“You’re lying,I can see that in your eyes…..”
“Let’s stay away from each other Lamia,don’t act like you know me,to prevent that feelings of yours to keep growing,because I will never reciprocate to that love. So……focus on your mate and stay away from me” Natasha said finally and made to leave.
“Tasha” Lamia grabbed her hand,she stopped but didn’t look back.
“If you walk away……..I’m going to really believe that you never loved me,,,I’m going to believe that you never had feelings for me and all was just kindness like you said,i’m really going to stay away from you” Lamia said.
“Nothing will make me more happier than you doing all that” Natasha muttered and Lamia’s heart broke into pieces,more tears rolled from his eyes.
“Bye” Natasha mumbled and walked away.
Lamia fell on the ground,his heart beating so fast,he held his chest,he was in pain.
“Ahhhhh!!!!!!” He cried out and buried his Face in his palms as he continue crying bitterly.
