~MY WICKED FATHER~
Episode 5
Two days have passed before I recalled the
employment offer my father made to Mike.
Nevertheless, I didn’t want to tell mike in case he
decided to apply for the position.
I’ll keep the information of the offer to myself, I
thought.
And nothing would make me to disclose it to
mike, I promised.

One fateful Saturday morning when we were
eating, my father called again, however, Mike
was present.
I snapped, “I don’t want to come back,
Is it by force? I asked
and we don’t want your employment offer,
thank you sir, and I ended the call.
Honey, what’s the issue? Mike queried after I
ended the call.
Is it not this evil man?I said.
Which evil man ? He asked.
Is it not my father?
He contacted me the other day and told me to
return home because he had forgiven me.
And that he has acknowledged our relationship,
Additionally, he promised to employ you.
I sigh..
So, how did you respond to him and why didn’t
you tell me since? He inquired with curiosity.
What response did you want me to give?
I informed him that we have no interest, and I’m
not returning home,
Beside I’m traveling out of the country soon.

your father.
Don’t you realize that he might change his
mind? He enquired.
Besides, he said,
when we want to get married, who would sit as
your father if you don’t make up with him now?
He asked.
Whoever i choose would sit as my father, I
answered,
Listen, you are not accepting the job offer
period. I got up and walked away.
Please don’t interpret it that way baby;
comeback and finish your meal. He pleaded.
But I was too provoke with him for not always
standing my side.

In reality, if I had been in love before, maybe I
would have ended my relationship with Mike,
I was just a novice, I didn’t know how to quit, I
would have.
Due to his persuasiveness, I was on the verge of
giving up on him.
Honestly,mike was so obstinate and
argumentative.
He pleaded with me and this time around with
his mother.
So I surrendered to the pressure.
Okay, go get the job; but I won’t be coming with
you.i said.
The next day, Mike got ready and visited my
father’s office.
But before he left , I had planted on him a video
recorder which is inform of earphone.

Despite the fact that my evil Father wasn’t
supposed to be in his office that day,
And to see that he had a very bad intentions for
us,
After his secretary had informed him about
mike,
Without wasting any time, he hurried to his
office to meet Mike.

Good morning sir, mike greeted,
Good morning my in-law to be. He grinned
wickedly,
But mike didn’t notice.
After both had exchange pleasantries,
He continued, l’ve decided to extend an offer of
employment to you,
I was such an idiot for ignoring my daughter’s
situation.
But now that I’ve realized it, I want to make the
correct decision, therefore I kindly ask for your
forgiveness.
Ehhm, Anny, he called the secretary,
Ask my in-law to be what he wants to drink, he
commanded
I prefer water, mike responded,
Water? a rhetorical question by my father,
Please don’t do that, give him juice .
How can you come to my office and demanded
for water, he said.
