She tried to speak again but no sound came out.
Not only is she trapped in Cherry’s body, she also couldn’t speak.

Cherry kept humming to herself as she stood in front of the mirror starring at Thalia’s body which she currently possess.
“This potion is the real deal” she muttered just as she got a call.
“You must be glad to be in Thalia’s body” the male voice drifted into her ears.
“Glad? Of course not! Her body is a horrid one. I can’t wait to get back into my body” Cherry bit out airily.
“And you will In due time but make sure you don’t do anything to Thalia’s body”
“I already gave you my word, I will do my best to care for her body and so, as soon as am back in my body, I want you to return my voice” Cherry stated.
“Don’t worry, you will get back your voice when you get back into your body” he said which got her smiling.
“As of now, Thalia must be finding it hard to talk to anyone. Well, it’s her price for not listening to me, she should have stayed away from Romeo when I told her o”
“Remember that while in Thalia body, you’ve got to make Romeo h@të her and also don’t do something that will hurt Thalia body cause if you do I….”
“Have been meaning to ask you this but what exactly is Thalia to you? You wouldn’t have approach me if she meant nothing to you” Cherry said.
“That’s none of your business, just do what have told you to do. Once everything is done, I will prepare the potion for you to switch back” he replied steely before switching off the phone.
“Such a jerk! ” Cherry muttered as she let out a sigh.
The knock on the door got her going to open it and immediately Thalia came into the room pushing Cherry out of the way.
“Oh, it’s you” Cherry said nonchalantly.
“What did you do to me?” Thalia showed her the phone which she had typed the message.
“Just a little bit of voodoo. I switched our souls” Cherry replied.
“Give me back my body” Thalia typed.
“Not until I get what I want. I wouldn’t have gone this far but you pushed me Thalia. You should never have come into Romeo’s life!” Cherry said looking furious.
“Romeo doesn’t belong to you or to me. So quit it with your nonsense and set things right!” Thalia texted.
“Never! I will make use of your body and ruin the relationship you have with everyone most especially Romeo. I will make sure he h@tës you just as much as I do”
“Do you think me being in your body will stop me from doing nothing? You are wrong Cherry, I won’t let you succeed with this” Thalia showed her the last text and when she tried to leave.
Cherry pulled the phone out of her hand and threw it on the floor, stepping on it too.
“Now there’s no way you can communicate with anyone. As far as I know everyone doesn’t want me here not even Romeo. Your friends h@të me as much as I h@të them, they wouldn’t even want to talk to you as long as your soul is in my body and don’t think Romeo’s Friend will help either, they also don’t like me. So it will be hard for you to get any help, you can’t talk right?” Cherry said fuelling Thalia’s anger.
Frustrated at the way things were, Thalia rush towards Cherry pulling her hair not caring if the witch was in her body.
Cherry returned the favour and Cherry screams filled the room and they both struggled on the floor.
“What are you doing?” Michelle yell as she and Daniella came rushing into the room to separate the both of them.
Unknown to the two girls, they pushed Cherry away while they held onto Thalia, a fake one to be precise.
“What the hell is wrong with you, Cherry? Don’t you ever get tired of causing trouble?” Daniella asked.
” It’s your fault that Thalia got into the water last night and now you are having a fight with her? Isn’t that too much?” Michelle added as they both glared at Cherry whose body held Thalia’s soul in it.
“Don’t scold her guys. Cherry also suffered too, she can’t talk” Cherry said making a sad face further angering Thalia.
“What do you mean by she can’t talk?” Daniella asked.
“When she came to me, she couldn’t speak and so…she thought I did something to her and got violent” Cherry explained.
“If something is wrong with you then it’s best you see the doctor, don’t take it out on Thalia ” Daniella lash out.
“I really think you should see the doctor, something must have happened when you fell into the water last night” Michelle added.
“But I don’t think there’s a doctor on the island? Why don’t we just send her back to city” Cherry suggested and that infuriated Thalia more.
She wants her out of the island so she can get her way with her evil plans but Thalia won’t let her succeed, she has to think of a way to stop the witch but her only means of communication has just been destroyed by her… Thalia thought as she kept starring at broken phone.
It got Thalia boiling with rage and a angry Thalia move towards Cherry wanting to hit her but she never got to do that since she hit someone else instead.
Her gaze move away from the broad chest to stare up at Romeo who was glaring down at her with so much anger.
“I knew you being here would be a bad idea” Romeo said just as Daniella move towards him.
“She was bothering Thalia again, you’ve got to get her to leave the island ” Daniella said glaring at her.
“I think Cherry lost her voice after last night ordeal. It’s best you send her back to the city to get checked” Michelle added.
* I don’t want to be checked. I need to stay here if I want to get back my body, why doesn’t anybody see a difference* Thalia cried out inwardly.
“Then it’s best we send her back. I will prepare everything for your departure, I will also explain everything to your mom. If you hadn’t gotten into the water last night, none of this would have happen to you ” Romeo said starring at her in a cold way.
Thalia quickly took hold of Romeo hand while making a sign for him to give her his phone.
She has to tell him the truth, she can’t let Cherry succeed with her plan.
On the other hand, Cherry who saw this decided to do something.
She staggered a bit, pretending to be sick just to gain everyone’s attention and she did succeed.
“Are you okay, Thalia?” Romeo asked as he held her in his arms.
“I am…I just feel a bit dizzy” Cherry said which got Romeo lifting her into his arms and back to the bed.
“I feel sick, Romeo. Can you ask everyone to leave” Cherry added lightly.
“I will take care of Thalia, you can all leave” Romeo said but Thalia didn’t want to leave.
Once again, she took hold of his hand but he pulled away from her.
“Leave Cherry! Can’t you see that Thalia isn’t doing well?” He yelled at her.
*I am Thalia. She’s a fake!* Thalia said inwardly as a tear fell from her eyes.
But Romeo ignored the tears on her face and taking hold of her hand, he pulled her roughly out of the room shutting the door on her face.
Romeo returned to Cherry who had gotten out of the bed.
She had seen the way he pulled Thalia out of the room. If her soul had been the one in her body then she would have been hurt by his action once again.
“You shouldn’t be out of bed” Romeo said as he pulled her back to the bed to seat on it.
“Why are you always mean to Cherry?” Cherry asked wanting to know exactly why he h@tës her.
“Mean? Am not mean to her. Cherry just doesn’t get that there’s no future for the both of us” Romeo said.
“We’ve been close since child hood and I grew up thinking of her as a younger sister, I don’t see her as a lover. Have made it clear to her on several occasion but she doesn’t listen” Romeo added further breaking Cherry’s heart.
“So, nothing is going to change your mind about Cherry. You don’t intend to give her a chance right?” Cherry asked again.
“I don’t and enough talk about Cherry. You need to get more rest” he said as he pulled back the duvet but Cherry held onto his hand instead.
She move towards him and claimed his lips.
Romeo was at first stunned by her action but he shut his eyes and deepened the kiss.
The kiss went on for a while and when they let each other go, they said nothing to one another.
“Get some sleep” Romeo said instead before leaving the room.
Cherry on the other hand touched her lips, recalling the kiss they both shared.
Hearing from Romeo lips what he thinks of her made her come to a conclusion.
“I will stay on as Thalia. If the only way to be with Romeo is by staying in Thalia’s body for good then so be it” she muttered before closing her eyes to get more sleep.

<< EVENING >>
Cherry woke up only to see that it was evening already.
She had slept for a long time…she thought as memory of the kiss she shared with Romeo came back to her.
She let out a shy smile as she wondered how it will be with Romeo when they do make love.
A knock on the door got her sitting up and Michelle came into the room.
“Thank God you are up. You’ve got to go the beach” Michelle said looking excited.
“Why should I?”
“Romeo is preparing a surprise. Am not meant to tell you but I couldn’t hold it in. I think he plans on asking you out” Michelle confided.
“Then I should get dress immediately” Cherry said as she got off the bed.
A while later, she made her way to the beach.
A gasp left her lips when she saw how well decorated her surrounding was.
Slowly she made way to a waiting Romeo and when he stretch his hand towards had her, she quickly put her hand in his.
“Is all this for me?” Cherry asked while starring around.
“What do you think?” He replied giving her a smile.
“Well, I….is this a proposal?” She asked starring up at him.
“Of course it is but a proposal can’t be made when there’s an imposter” Romeo said and that wipe off the smile on her face.
“You are not Thalia, right?”
