Their eyes remained locked in a tense Snow bore a mean expression, while Mirabella’s emotions swirled like a turbulent sea.
Taking a slice of pizza from the plate, Mirabella ventured, “I’ve heard you’re angry with me.”
Snow’s response was cold and calculated. “Anger is a feeling, and I don’t think I possess it,” she retorted, leaving Mirabella sighing in frustration.
“You probably believe I’m to blame for your mother’s demise,” Mirabella muttered, her voice heavy with guilt.
Snow couldn’t suppress a bitter laugh. “You were the catalyst, making our lives a living hell,” she shot back, raising an eyebrow.
“Is this the nonsense Marco’s been feeding you?” Mirabella inquired, her voice tinged with hurt. “I didn’t cause your family’s tragedy; your mother’s actions led to it.”
“Show some respect for the deceased,” Snow warned, her glare intensifying. “I’ve also heard your daughter was involved in her demise, quite the twist.”
Mirabella explained, her voice trembling, “It’s not what it seems. My daughter was just five and was abducted by Isabella, nearly killed.”
“But she didn’t die, did she?” Snow probed, leaving Mirabella stunned by her response.
“Snow, what’s gotten into you? You’re only sixteen; you can’t comprehend everything!” Mirabella’s voice grew louder, her frustration evident.
“Rubbish! Lies and nonsense!” Snow shouted, and Mirabella rose to her feet.
“Is that what you think? I just don’t want you to repeat your mother’s mistakes!” Mirabella retorted, trying to reason with her.
Snow erupted in laughter. “Don’t play innocent; you never wanted my mother, and you’re not even related to us! I h@të you!”
Tears welled up in Snow’s eyes as she choked back her emotions. “You h@të me?” Mirabella repeated, her voice filled with disbelief. “I can’t believe this; I used to be your favorite aunt.”
Snow’s voice trembled as she responded, “But you were never there when I needed you. Where were you? In those lonely nights when I felt like I was dying inside, were you anywhere to be found?”
Mirabella’s heart sank as she watched her niece’s tears begin to flow. She moved closer, wrapping her arms around Snow in a tight hug. “I’m so sorry, Snow. I should have been there for you. I never meant for you to feel this way,” she whispered, her own tears joining Snow’s.
Snow’s anger and hurt melted away as she clung to Mirabella. “I just wanted someone to understand, to be there for me,” she sobbed, her voice filled with pain.
Mirabella held her niece even closer, whispering words of comfort and love. “I promise, from now on, I’ll be there for you, no matter what. I love you, Snow, and I’m so sorry for not being the aunt you needed.”

“What do you think, huh? I’m gonna let you be the superhero?” Ricco asked, slipping into a Batman costume.
“I’m Wonder Woman, and I’m here to save the world!” Hailey exclaimed, bouncing on the bed with excitement.
Vincenzo, secretly watching them, couldn’t help but smile at the beautiful sight.
“Hey, sweetie,” Vincenzo called out, and Hailey dashed into his arms.
“Hey, Dad,” she smiled.
“How are you doing? Missed me?” he asked, raising his eyebrows, and she nodded with a warm smile.
“I did. Where’s Mommy? I really miss her,” she pouted sweetly.
“Mummy is coming back soon. Hey, Ricco, what’s up, man?” Vincenzo patted his son’s shoulder, but Ricco playfully pushed him away.
“I’m not a kid anymore; you have to stop that,” Ricco protested.
“Are you disrespecting my boyfriend?” Hailey asked, and Vincenzo shook his head with a grin.
“No, I’m not. Come on, it’s time to have your lunch.” He said, leaning down to kiss Hailey’s tummy, causing her to giggle loudly.
In his room, Ricco sat down on the bed and couldn’t help but smile when he thought of Hailey. “She’s cute,” he muttered and pulled out his homework from his backpack.
Meanwhile, Lorenzo and Adriana were engrossed in a passionate moment at the dining table, and when Vincenzo reached them, he covered Hailey’s eyes protectively.
“For Christ’s sake, there’s a baby here! Go to your room!” he shouted, and the couple quickly disengaged.
“Sorry, it’s his fault,” Adriana explained, dragging Lorenzo upstairs.
“Piece of…,” Lorenzo muttered and playfully placed Adriana on the table. “Flakes or burrito?”
“Ewww… I want pasta or KFC chicken and fries,” she replied with a smile.
“What about ice cream?” Vincenzo asked, and she eagerly nodded.
“Yes! I want chocolate and strawberry,” licking her lips with excitement.
“Yummy,” Vincenzo smiled and hugged her tightly. “You’re so sweet.”
“Guess what, we’re gonna bring a baby boy into this world,” Vincenzo announced, and Hailey’s eyes widened with curiosity.
“Momma is gonna have a child? Is it gonna be a boy or a girl?” she asked, her excitement bubbling.
“Ummm… I don’t know. Which one do you prefer?” Vincenzo inquired, and she sucked her lower lip in thought.
“I think a boy.”
“A boy? Aww…me too,” Vincenzo agreed and headed to the fridge. He returned with an ice cream and handed it to Hailey. “This is for you.”
“But where’s yours?” Hailey asked, concerned, and he simply shrugged.
“I don’t have any,” he replied.
“In that case, share it with me,” she insisted, pushing the ice cream plate toward Vincenzo.
“You’re the best, Angel. I love you a million countless times
Vincenzo’s phone chimed, and his heart skipped a beat as he swiftly answered. “Hey, my love,” he said with warmth, and Hailey clapped her hands with sheer excitement at the sound of her mother’s voice.
“Mummy! Mummy! I miss you already,” Hailey gushed, eagerly reaching for the phone that her father handed her.
“I miss her too,” Vincenzo admitted, a hint of longing in his eyes.
“Please come back soon… I heard you’re bringing my baby brother into the world?” Hailey inquired, her eyes sparkling.
“Yes, honey,” Mirabella responded, her voice tinged with anticipation. “I’m praying for a little boy.”
“Any baby is a blessing,” Hailey replied, casting an adoring glance at Vincenzo. “Dad is so dull without you here.”
Vincenzo reassured her, “Don’t worry, sweetheart. I’ll be back tomorrow morning, okay?”
“Okay,” Hailey agreed, feeling a sense of comfort in her mother’s promise.
“Hey, babe, how have you been?” Vincenzo took the phone, yearning for his wife’s voice.
“Good, I guess,” Mirabella replied with a gentle laugh, the love in her tone undeniable.
“What about Snow? Is she improving? Are you two getting along?” he asked, concern evident in his voice.
Mirabella sighed softly, “It wasn’t easy, but yes, we’re getting along just fine.”
“Always keep yourself safe, okay?” Vincenzo urged, his voice filled with genuine care.
“Okay, I love you so much, sweetie,” Mirabella whispered with deep affection.
“Is there anything else to share? Did you happen to see Marco, your stalker?” Vincenzo inquired, concern lingering in his eyes.
“Nope, that guy seems to have turned a new leaf,” Mirabella replied, her laughter echoing over the phone. “We’re working things out.”
Mirabella sat on the bed, her gaze fixed on Snow. She found Snow’s fragility and sweetness captivating.
“You don’t want to eat?” Mirabella inquired, offering her some chicken wings.
“No, I’m not hungry,” Mirabella replied, and Snow nodded, continuing to eat.
“So, I came across a boarding school here, and I think you’ll love it,” Mirabella said, and Snow shrugged.
“I don’t really have a choice, do I?” Snow replied. Mirabella pulled her closer for a comforting hug.
“I love you, my angel,” Mirabella whispered, planting a gentle kiss on Snow’s hair.
“Will you visit me, though?” Snow asked, and Mirabella nodded with a warm smile.
“Of course, I’ll come to visit,” she assured, and Snow laid her head on Mirabella’s lap.
“It feels good to know that someone cares,” Snow murmured.
The NEXT DAY~
Mirabella bid Snow goodbye as she boarded her jet. As the tears welled up in her eyes, she wiped them away and settled into her seat.
“She’s so sweet,” one of the flight attendants remarked, and Mirabella chuckled.
“She truly is, an angel,” she agreed, gazing at Snow.
After hours of flight, they returned home. Mirabella had drifted off to sleep, and she woke up when the driver brought the car to a stop at the Salvatore mansion.
“Ma’am!” the driver called, rousing her from her slumber.
“Are we home? Ouch…my back hurts,” she groaned, stretching her stiff muscles.
Stepping out of the car, she was greeted by the house staff.
“Good evening, Ma.”
“Welcome, Ma’am.”
Mirabella acknowledged their greetings and looked around the sitting room, but no one was in sight. She headed to her room, only to discover Vincenzo playing with Hailey.
Vincenzo was dressed in a Halloween costume, while Hailey was dressed as the Joker.
“What in the world is going on here?” Mirabella exclaimed, eyeing her makeup box.
Both Vincenzo and Hailey smiled in response. “It’s not funny. My makeup is so expensive…how could you play with it?” Mirabella scolded them, picking up the makeup.
“Sorry, Mommy,” Hailey said, hugging her from behind.
“Really? Vincenzo Salvatore, you should know better,” she scolded, and he grinned. “It’s not funny, stop with those smiles!” she exclaimed, and he frowned.
Mummy are you mad at Daddy?” Hailey asked.
“Yes, honey don’t play with my makeup box ever again. It’s so expensive” She sighed and went to sit on the couch.
“You don’t have to be mad at me” Vincenzo said, rubbing her arms
Her eyes widened when she noticed him wearing her gown. “Babe, take off my clothes,” she demanded, her frustration showing.
“I’m so stressed right now… maybe later,” Vincenzo replied, but she wasn’t having it.
“Off my dress now!!” she shouted, her patience wearing thin, and Vincenzo groaned while complying.
“You always wear my clothes, and now because I’m putting on your favorite gown, that’s a problem? You’re not allowed to wear my clothes anymore!” Vincenzo quipped as he entered the bathroom.
Hailey took the opportunity to leave, while Mirabella kept murmuring.
“I can’t believe this, how can a grown up man behave like this!? Why!!” She shouted, hitting the bathroom door.
“You’re so Fuçking sweet!” Vincenzo replied and she screamed.
“I’m mad at you for putting on my favourite gown, now it looks so big and… you know what!?” She paused and laughed. “Forget about your Gucci hoodie, all of them are mine now!!” She said and kicked the door.
“It’s alright, what’s yours is mine too” He replied and she sighed.
“Vincenzo, I h@të you so much! I’m not sleeping here!” she shouted, before storming out of the room.
Finding solace in another room, she slammed the door shut, jumped onto the bed, and hugged a pillow tightly. “My life is so stressed out… I thought I was getting married to a mature man, but it ends up being a man who plays with my makeup and wears my dress? Awesome!” she muttered to herself, rolling her eyes.
Vincenzo, after freshening up, entered the room and Mirabella rolled her eyes.
“I’m so sorry…oh my love” He danced while singing.
Mirabella shook her head and threw him a pillow. “Stop, your voice doesn’t suit it”
“Would you forgive me if I asked you to do…would be my lovely wife…. I would be your hero baby ….” He sang, climbing on the bed and twerking for Mirabella.
“What the … you have to stop…your @$$ isn’t even shaking” she laughed and kept dancing.
“Would be my lovely wife…I can be your hero baby…I can take away your sorrows ohh yeah…you are so beautiful” he said and kissed her.
She chuckled, her annoyance melting away. “You don’t have a choice.”
“You smell like vanilla. I wanna eat you,” he whispered, trying to be charming.
She laughed softly. “How did the trip go?” Vincenzo asked, offering to massage her legs.
Mirabella sighed, sharing her worries. “It wasn’t as easy as I thought. Snow thinks I ruined her life.”
Vincenzo comforted her, “It’s a pity. When our parents died, no one came to our rescue. Instead, they took the properties and tried to kill us. She should be happy you actually care.”
Mirabella nodded, feeling conflicted. “Yeah, but she’s still a child. What does she know?”
Vincenzo changed the subject, trying to be helpful. “Oh, I made dinner.”
Mirabella raised her brows “Really? I’m not hungry.”
“But I’m still hungry. Care to be my last meal?” Vincenzo teased, running his fingers along her thighs.
“You’re a bad boy,” she said, playing along.
Uhmm… I like that,” he said, slowly peeling off her shirt.
Mirabella’s mind raced as she glanced at the door. “Did you, uhmm… did you lock the door? You should know Hailey by now,” she muttered, her anxiety evident. Vincenzo turned and sighed.
He grinned mischievously, “My battery percentage is low… kiss me,” as he leaned in to capture her lips. Mirabella playfully used her hands to push his face away.
“I’m not in the mood,” she hissed, moving to lock the door. “It was an easy job, and that was locking the door!”
Vincenzo chuckled, trying to be seductive, “Alright… come to Daddy.”
Mirabella burst into laughter, “Really? That sounds so weird right now… try something else, like ‘crawl to me,'” she suggested, a hint of humor in her voice.
Vincenzo tried to hold back his laugh, “Omg… what about, ‘spread those legs so I can wash them?'” He said, causing Mirabella to blush.
She smirked, “What about this, ‘I’m good at taking shots, why don’t I give you one?'”
Vincenzo shook his head, “Nah, not feeling it.” Mirabella rolled her eyes.
“Okay, what about… I don’t know, I’m not good with all this dirty talk,” she said, her confidence wavering as they both shared a laugh, finding humor in their playful banter.
