“Have got it all planned and so relax. Thalia and
Romeo might be together for now but it’s not
going to last” Peter said with a evil smirk on his
face.

Thalia and Romeo stood outside, gazing at the
jet which is currently taking Cherry back to the
city.
“There goes the trouble maker, am glad she’s
gone” Thalia said feeling so relieved.
“Me too but I can’t help but to wonder how
Cherry got her hand on the potion. She hardly
knows anyone dealing in stuff like that” Romeo
said looking wistful.
“What about your aunt?”
“Cherry has never met my aunt before and she
has no idea that she’s a shaman” Romeo
replied.
“Then she must have gotten it from someone
else, someone close to us” Thalia said letting
her imagination run wild but a sudden kiss from
Romeo got her returning to earth.
“What? Can’t I kiss you again?” Romeo asked as
he made to kiss her again but Thalia quickly
move away from him.
“What’s wrong?”
“I don’t know where I stand with you? I don’t
know what you feel for me? I don’t know if you
are just doing all this to keep me by your side
since am your strong aura protecting you from
death” She said.
“Yes, we kissed a while ago but I don’t think you
did that because you like…” She was prevented
from saying more when Romeo kissed her.
“What does this mean?” Thalia let out softly
when he broke the kiss.
“That you are wrong in your assumption. From
the very first day I saw you, I knew you are the
one for me. Have been in love with you for a
very long time Thalia” he confessed making her
feel giddy with excitement.
“Why aren’t you saying a thing? Do you still
doubt my feelings for you?” He asked feeling a
bit uneasy.
“It’s unfair”
“Unfair?”
“Yes. Just a while ago when you still thought
Cherry was me, you prepared a lot of things just
to confess and now that am back in my body,
you didn’t prepare a thing ” Thalia said faking a
disappointed look.
“I didn’t really think of that, am sorry” Romeo
apologised while scratching the back of his
head.
Thalia couldn’t resist the laughter that was
bursting in her.
She wrap her arms around his waist and gave
him a tight hug.
“I like you or better yet, am crazily in love with
you. Don’t ever let me go” she murmured
against his chest and Romeo tightened his hold
around in return.
“Am never going to let you go, never” he said in
return.

<< MORNING >>
Thalia was still in bed when Daniella and
Michelle woke her up.
“Why are you so lazy today?” Daniella asked
which got Thalia remembering how she spent
the night chatting with Romeo.
They had been talking about a lot of things that
they failed to see how late it was. It was around
three in the morning that Thalia finally slept off.
“Let me sleep some more, I slept late last night”
Thalia let out drowsily before falling back on
her bed.
“Then we will just have to leave you out of the
surprise” Michelle said and that got Thalia
sitting up.
“What surprise?” She asked thinking Romeo was
really going to prepare a surprise confession for
her like she said last night.
“The surprise is for Dennis new girlfriend.
Apparently he met her here on the island and
fell hard for her, he’s been pleading with us
since last night to help him prepare a surprise
confession and we are short of hands, we need
your help” Daniella said.
“Then let me get dress and…”
“You don’t have to. You look gorgeous in just
your pyjamas” Michelle said and before Thalia
could stop them they had pulled her out of bed
and out of the room.
The next hours was preoccupied with them
decorating the hall for Dennis girlfriend.
“Dennis is definitely going to pay us for this”
Thalia said as she blew on a balloon.
“He sure will” Michelle replied as she exchange
a knowing look with Daniella.
“I think we are done here” Thalia said a while
later starring at the well decorated hall.
“While we go get Dennis, you should stay here
and keep watch” Daniella told her.
“But am still in my pyjamas, I still have to
shower and….” Thalia let out a frustrating as
she decided to wait for them to return.
She stood with her back facing the door way
and failed to notice the arrival of someone until
a large bouquet of flower appeared in front of
her.
“Dummy! Do I look like your girlfriend, Den…”
She stopped her sentence when she turned
around to see Romeo instead.
“What are you doing here?” She asked feeling a
bit shy and hating her friends for letting Romeo
see her in her pyjamas.
“What do you think?” He said in return as her
gaze went back to the bouquet he was holding.
“This isn’t a surprise for Dennis girlfriend right?”
Thalia asked.
“It isn’t!” Michelle who walked back in with
Daniella said.
“It’s all for you” Daniella added which got Thalia
starring at Romeo again.
“You were angry about me not confessing in the
right way and so I came up with this plan, hope
you like it?” Romeo asked and by now Felix,
Jerry and Peter had join Daniella and Michelle
to watch the confession take place.
“Don’t you like it?” Romeo asked when Thalia
just kept shut.
“You should have at least gave me a heads up.
Am in my P.J for crying out loud” she said
feeling a rush of excitement and happiness.
“You look lovely in wh@tëver you wear” he said
and gave her a kiss right in front of everyone.
“What do you say, will you do me the honour of
being my girlfriend?” Romeo asked just as a
smile splayed on her lips.
“Just say yes already” Daniella yelled while
everyone except for Peter echoed the same
thing.
“Yes” Thalia said and immediately Romeo drew
her into his arms capturing her lips in his.
Everyone who were happy clapped and wish
them the best of happiness and although Peter
had a smile on his face, he was bubbling with
rage from within.
“Enjoy it while it last cause it won’t be for long”
Peter thought before forcing the fake smile on
his lips again.

<< AIRPLANE >>
Thalia woke up from a short sleep only to see
Romeo still busy with work on his lap top.
“Did I wake you up?” Romeo asked.
“You didn’t. You’ve been on that for long, I hope
everything is fine?” Thalia asked and he nodded
giving her a kiss on the forehead.
“It’s just some pending work I left undone. Just
get some rest, I will wake you up when we get
back to the city” Romeo informed and that got
her resting her head on his shoulder before
dozing off again.
Thalia opened her eyes some time later and she
knew that something isn’t right.
She lifted her head expecting to see Romeo but
she was startled to see Peter there instead.
“Did I startle you? Am sorry, it’s just that I saw
Romeo leaving for the private room and you
were dozing off and I decided to lend you my
shoulder” he explained lightly.
“Thanks” she said starring around for a sign of
Romeo.
“Don’t worry, Romeo will be back soon but you
can keep on using my shoul…”
“No! You don’t have to worry about that ” Thalia
said quickly.
“Do I perhaps make you feel uncomfortable?”
Peter asked which got her hesitating.
“Feel free to give your reply” Peter said quickly.
“Well I…to be honest we are not that close to be
comfortable with each other” she answered.
“What about starting now?” Peter asked and
before she could give a reply, he continued.
“My name is Peter, a close friend of Romeo. Am
a cute lovable and lively person, once you get to
know me you won’t regret it” he said earning a
smile from Thalia.
“Not bad, I like the intro” Thalia teased finding
herself enjoying his company.
They chatted for a while more and Peter kept
making Thalia laugh.
There were times that Peter was lost starring at
Thalia smile, he wanted her smile for him alone
and he will surely make that possible in
wh@tëver way he can.
“Can I get back my girlfriend attention?” Romeo
asked startling them.
Though Peter felt reluctant, he left the seat for
Romeo who immediately settled in it before
claiming Thalia lips in his.
Peter who was watching this tightened his fist
with holding the anger.

“Why did you ask me to meet you here when we
could have meet up at school tomorrow?”
Cherry asked as she approach Peter.
” I want you to apologise to Romeo and Thalia
tomorrow ” Peter said.
“What!”
“Just do it since it will be useful for you when
the time comes” Peter said.
“I can’t do that. Romeo and Thalia made a fool
out of me, I might forgive Romeo but I can’t
bring myself to forgive Thalia” Cherry said.
“Then our deal will be cut off ” Peter said
wanting to leave but she held him back.
“Fine! I will apologise but tell me, what’s this
grand plan of yours?” Cherry asked.
“I plan to use Romeo’s weakness against him”
Peter replied having a smug look on his face.
