✓ Maxwell College: Cafeteria✓
“What do you mean by that”. Rose said in shock,
she actually been crushing on Jackson since
high school.
“Don’t you dare touch her”. Jackson said with a
serious face.
“Why are you supporting her too huh. Who is
she”. Rose said.
“I don’t know about that, but Dare to disobey
and see my other side”. Jackson said and he
dragged Jemimah out of the Cafeteria.
Lucy followed them and she stared at the duo.
They were both staring at each other without
saying anything. Jemimah broke the silence.
“Thank you boss”. Jemimah said.
“What for?” Jackson said.
“For defending me in there”. Jemimah said.
Jackson just scoffed loudly.
“Do you think I did that because of something
else, I did that because you are my maid and if
anything happens to you I will held responsible
cause you are staying with me”. Jackson said.
“Have always knew he is up to no good”.
Jemimah thought.
“Wh@tëver, Lucy can we go and visit my mum”.
Jemimah said.
“Without asking me?, Did I give you the
permission”. Jackson said.
“Am… Sorry. I didn’t know I will have to seek
permit before going to my mother’s house”.
Jemimah said with an annoyance in her tone.
“You can go”. Jackson said.
“Thanks”. Jemimah said.
“But you have to come back before it 8:00pm”.
Jackson said.
“Okay,bye. Lucy let’s go”. Jemimah said and she
walked out with Lucy.
“She’s annoying, numbskull”. Jackson said and
he drove home.
✓ Jemimah’s house✓
Jemimah and Lucy walked in to her house and
met her mother in the kitchen.
“Wow, seems we came at the right time”. Lucy
said happily.
“Wow my children, what a surprise. Am so
happy to see Jemimah”. Mrs Jubel.
“Hello mom, how have you been doing”.
Jemimah said and she hug her.
“Am fine dear, and you hope you are alright”.
Mrs Jubel said.
“Yes, we only came to greet you, I will go back
when it is 8:00 because that was Jackass gave
me”. Jemimah said giving him another name.
“Who is Jackass”. Mrs Jubel said.
“Jackson Maxwell of course, that’s his new
nickname”. Jemimah said.
“Hmm, don’t cross your limit ooo. Be careful and
take care of yourself”. Mrs Jubel said.
“Okay ma, common let’s me check the food
cause am hungry”. Jemimah said and she
stood up.

Alice and Olivia got home expecting to meet
Jemimah but she wasn’t home.
“Brother, where’s Jemimah”. Alice asked im
mediately she Saw him.
“She’s in her house”. Jackson said.
“What, did you send her away? What did she do,
you aren’t supposed to send her away. I will
really miss her cause she is really nice…”.
“Alice”. Jackson shouted and the two girls
fidgeted.
“Am sorry”. Alice apologized.
“She went to greet her mom, I didn’t want to act
like a wicked boss but I think I will start now”.
Jackson said and he went to his room.
“Hmph, am sorry Olivia but I think you will come
tomorrow”. Alice said.
“No problem, Bye”. Olivia said.
“Let’s me escort you”. Alice said.
✓ Jemimah house : 8:00pm✓
Jemimah was sleeping on the couch in the
sitting room, Lucy already left. Mrs Jubel Came
to wake her up.
“Jemimah, it’s already 8pm, wake up”. Mrs
Jubel said.
“Hmm, I want to stay with you”. Jemimah said
and she hug her mom.
“But, it’s 8 already and Jackson will…”
On hearing that, she flung her eyes opened and
looked at her mom.
“What says the time now”. Jemimah said.
“It’s already past 8”. Mrs Jubel said.
On hearing that, she rushed out and waved to a
cab, she arrived at the house but was really
afraid to go in.
✓ Maxwell Mansion✓
Jackson was at sitting room expecting
Jemimah when she entered.
“Stop,” Jackson said and she halted.
“Check your time”. Jackson said.
“Am sorry, I know I passed 8pm but….”.
“Now, since you disobeyed me you will receive
your punishment”. Jackson said.
“But…”.
“Clean all the mansion and sleep in the tent I
made outside”. Jackson said.
“But, it’s cold outside”. Jemimah said.
“I don’t care”. Jackson said.
“We have a project tomorrow and I can’t afford
to fail it”. Jemimah said.
“Good night”. Jackson said and he went to his
room.
“Fuçk you”. Jemimah said and she begins her
work.
✓ Maxwell college: next day✓
“Now, today is your project and you guys have
been grouped. I will give the work. Meet me in
my office now, see you”. The lecturer and he
went to his office.
But a lecturer also came and the students
groaned.
“You guys have my lecture now, so settle down”.
The lecturer said.
Time passed and the he left the class, they all
went to the first lecturer office.
“These are what you need to do, the best team
will get a distinction in their test”. The lecturer
said.
They left the office and went home.

Alice was coming out from the restroom when
she bumped into Adam.
“Watch your steps Adam”. Alice said and tried to
walk away but he held her hand.
“Have I offended you before, I really like you”.
Adam said.
“What, stop it and let’s me go…”
She was cut short by a hug from him.

Jemimah stood up from her bed and went to
Jackson’s room. She just finished taking a
shower.
“You called for me”. Jemimah said.
“Start the project”. Jackson said with a tone of
authority.
“What!” Jemimah exclaimed.
