“Because I. I was missing you”.
“What”.

“I mean, I didn’t have anybody to disturb me you
know. I was just kinda bored”. Alex said while
scratching his head.
“Hmmmmm, really”. Lucy said.
“Yes, of course. Why did you think I will miss
you cause of something else”. Alex said but
Lucy just started laughing.
“What’s funny”. Alex asked with a frown on his
face.
“Am..am sorry but with that look on your face.
You looked…” She began to laugh again.
Alex just found himself smiling too, Jemimah
came in and found Lucy laughing.
“What’s going on, what’s funny”. Jemimah
asked.
“I don’t know, she said the look on my face
amused her”. Alex said with a tone of anger.
“Am.. sorry”. Lucy said.
Jemimah too burst into laughter, and Lucy
joined again. Alex just smiled, unknowingly to
them Mrs Queen was at the door watching
them.
“There’s a reason why they are besties, and that
boy something is fishing, he is reason why my
daughter laughed. God bless you”. Mrs Queen
said.
✓ Coffee shop✓
“Answer me Adam, please don’t reject me”.
Olivia said.
“I.. umm, you know that I like Alice so why all
these”. Adam finally said.
“But she doesn’t like you, I love you please give
me a chance”. Olivia said.
“Hmm, you will have to give me sometimes to
think about it”. Adam said.
“I hope the outcome will be positive”. Olivia said.
“I think we are done here, Please let’s go. I will
pay for this”. Adam said and he went to pay for
the coffee, they left the shop.
✓ Lucy’s house ~ 4:25pm✓
They were about to leave the house, It’s was like
their visit gingered Lucy up. She had become
more better within their visit.
“I will miss you”. Lucy said.
“Make sure, you come to college tomorrow
okay?” Jemimah said.
“Sure”. Lucy said.
They noticed a black car coming towards them
and someone got out of the car revealing Ellis.
He was holding a bouquet of flowers, he walked
towards Jemimah and knelt down in front of
her.
“Jemimah Jubel, I know my arrival here must
have surprised you but I have something to tell
you”. Ellis said and Jemimah just stared at him.
“I LOVE YOU”. Ellis shouted.
“What”. Alex and Lucy exclaimed.
“Will you be my girlfriend?” Ellis stretched the
flower to her.
They all looked in shock and people started
gathering around.
