“Yes we are, let me explain everything to you”.
Alex said. He explained everything to her and
she was very happy.
“Wow, am very happy for you both. I can’t
believe that the two who once dislike each other
are now dating?” Jemimah said.
“I realized that I was addicted to her and I
couldn’t do without her. I love you”. Alex said
while Lucy just blushed.
“Hmm hmm, let’s the single breathe”. Jemimah
said while clearing her throat.
“Enough about us, what about you. Why did you
lie that You’re dating Ellis”. Lucy said earning
Jemimah’s attention.
“Well, before I left Jackson’s house, I challenged
him that I will accept Ellis’ proposal but since I
will start working with him again on the behalf
of his parents, I will have to convince Ellis to act
like my boyfriend. He had been there for me
when I was down so he is my friend”. Jemimah
explained.
“Do you think Ellis will agree to this deal cause
he loves you”. Lucy said.
“He will if he truly loves me”. Jemimah said.
“Hmm let’s see”. Alex said.
“Umm excuse me, I have to go to the restroom”.
Jemimah said excusing herself.
” Babe, I am extremely lucky”. Alex said.
“Why did you say that”. Lucy said.
” Cause I found you not so easy but at last

Lucy couldn’t help but to blush.
” Love you too”. Lucy managed to say and Alex
kissed her forehead.

Jemimah came of the restroom when she saw
Ellis going out, she immediately called his name
and he answered.
“Thank you for waiting, I actually want to tell
about something and I don’t know whether you
will like to help me with it”. Jemimah said.
” Sure, tell me I will do it as long it’s in my
control”
Ellis said.
“Umm, Jackson’s parents actually came for my
help cause Jackson had been something else
though you know I had challenged him that I
will accept your proposal, now that am about to
go back there, I want you to act like my
boyfriend whenever he’s there”. Jemimah said.
“Umm, okay it’s not a problem”. Ellis said.
“Thank you so much, I really you for always
been there for me” . Jemimah said.
“It’s…” Ellis didn’t complete his statement when
he pulled Jemimah in a hug.
Jemimah wondered why he did that, she just
stood there like a mannequin. Some minutes
later, he release her.
“Why did you do that”. Jemimah asked.
“Am sorry, I had to do that because. Jackson
was here”. Ellis said and Jemimah’s eyes
widened.
“What, he was here. Umm thanks”. Jemimah
said.
” It’s not a problem”. Ellis said and Jemimah
smiled.
Jackson was going home, his mind travelled to
the hug Jemimah and Ellis shared. He was very
angry and sad, he immediately bumped into
Rose.
“Jackson, what’s wrong”. Rose asked.
“What are you doing here, leave me alone”.
Jackson said and he released his arm from her
grip.
“Haven’t you gotten Jemimah off your entire
mind? Tell me the truth you are in love with her”.
Rose said.
” What are you saying, let me go. Am not
interested in this discussion”. Jackson said and
Rose released him.
Jackson got on his bike, he couldn’t help but to
think about what Rose said.
” It can’t be, I love her?” Jackson thought.
√ Maxwell Mansion√
Jackson got home late because he had been
somewhere trying to clear his mind with
alcohol. He opened the door and He saw
Jemimah sitted on the sofa.
“Jackson?” Jemimah said when she saw him a
drunken state.
“You really came?” Jackson said.
” It’s was your mother’s plea, I had to listen to it”.
Jemimah said not looking at him.
“Thanks”. Jackson said and he went upstairs,
Jemimah wondered that did he really say thank
you to her.
√Night√
Jemimah knocked on Jackson’s room,she didn’t
wait for his response. She opened the door and
found Jackson shivering on the bed.
“Jackson, what happened”. Jemimah said and
she touched his forehead, she saw that he is
freaking hot.
“He is burning up”. Jemimah quickly brought in
a cold Handkerchief and placed it on his
forehead
She gave him drugs to use too, soon he fell
asleep and Jemimah fell asleep too.
A short while later, Jackson woke up and looked
around the house looking for Jemimah when he
saw that She is sleeping besides on the bed
with only her head on the bed. She actually sat
down on a chair besides the table.
Jackson found himself staring at her cute
innocent face and he smiled.
“You are sometimes annoying numbskull, but I
have.. am in love with you now”..
“What”. Jemimah flung her eyes open.
