snap before ending the call.

Though it’s late, Michelle was told to clean one
of the guest room before leaving and that’s
where she was headed to when she heard
Donald voice.
“Why the hell do you keep doing things to piss
me off? Why did you pretend to be me and went
away on a trip which was meant for me? Why
do you keep hanging around Michelle knowing
very much that it displeases me?”
“Relax. I don’t mean any harm, I just wanted to
have a bit of fun” Felix said in return.
“Fun? For how long will you keep using my
identity all in the name of fun?”
“Until have had enough. Don’t you think I
deserve that from you? It’s nothing compared to
what you put me through in the past” Felix
retaliate, also sounding angry.
“But I have been doing my best to make up for
it, I__”
“Your best isn’t what I want. I want my life back,
I want the life you stole from me ” Felix yelled
glaring at his twin brother.
“Am sorry but that’s not up to me to__”
“If it’s not up to you then you shouldn’t
complain about me having fun. It’s what I
deserve for what you put me through years ago.
So, you are going to turn a blind eye to this just
like you’ve been doing for years, pretending to
be you shouldn’t be a big deal and messing with
Michelle shouldn’t be either” Felix said knowing
that his brother will surely turn a blind eye to
this.
“Sorry Felix but I won’t let you have your way
this time, have been paying for my sins a long
time ago and I think it should stop now” Donald
stated firmly angering Felix in the process.
“You are only doing this for Michelle right? Why
bother when you will be marrying someone else,
stop keeping her hopes up and let her be. Apart
from not being worthy of you, you don’t love
her” Felix said.
Michelle who had been listening didn’t wait to
listen to Donald response and so she quickly
left the door way, heading back downstairs.
It’s true that she’s not worthy of Donald since
she came from a poor background but still, she
had hope that Donald will look past that and fall
in love with her but she had only been dreaming,
it’s time to wake up from her dream.
She thought as she got back to the kitchen.
Everyone had retired for the night and she was
in the process of pulling off her apron when
Donald walked in.
“We need to talk” he said, taking hold of her
hand but she quickly pulled away.
“We have nothing to talk about and am running
late, I need to go back to my hostel” Michelle
said as she discarded the apron and once
again, he took hold of her hand.
“I don’t know what Felix has been telling__”
“Felix doesn’t have to tell me anything, I already
know how you feel about me but like a
fool__like a fool I thought that one day, you
might still notice me but that will never happen,
right?”
“Michelle I__”
“Let’s just stop this. Arguing with you will only
get me fired, do me a favour and leave me
alone” she said and was about to leave when he
took hold of her hand once again and pulled her
into the store room.
“What are you__” Michelle didn’t get to say more
when his mouth descend on hers.
Her first thought was to push him away and she
did try but Donald didn’t budge, he kept kissing
her until she yielded to him, kissing him return.
“Does this tell you how I feel about you?” Donald
asked starring down at her and when she said
nothing, he kissed her again.
“I love you, Michelle. Am madly in love with you”
he said when he broke the kiss.
“But you are engaged to someone else”
“An unwanted engagement. It’s not something I
want but my parents don’t care about what I
want. They are adamant about this marriage
and I can’t refuse since I already caused a mess
once but for you, am willing to resist”
“How?”
“I haven’t thought of it yet but I will, I swear to
you that I will do something to stop this
engagement. Just don’t give up on me, your
love is the only thing that gives me strength”
Donald said as he held her close, kissing her
hair.
Michelle had a lot of questions for him but she
chose to stay quiet and enjoy this moment after
all it’s been one of the things she has been
wishing for.
“I love you ” he whispered and that got her
smiling.

<< THALIA & MICHELLE HOSTEL>>
Thalia was studying when she heard the door
bell. Thinking it to be Michelle, she went to open
the door only to see Peter there.
“Good evening. I saw this and thought of
sharing it with you, may I come in?” He asked
while holding onto a bag filled with chicken and
beer.
“Sure” a confused Thalia said, making way for
him.
“Have heard that eating chicken and beer makes
someone feel good and you certainly need it
after what happened with Romeo” he said as he
brought out the chicken and beer.
“I heard about it from Jerry and thought of who
to console between you and Romeo, I decided to
come here instead” he explained.
“Thanks. I really do appreciate it but you
shouldn’t have bothered since I don’t have to be
consoled” she said and that made him stop
what he was doing to stare at her.
“I don’t think Romeo meant what he said. I know
there’s an explanation for his action and am
willing to wait until he’s ready to tell me and so,
I don’t acknowledge our break up” Thalia said
looking wistful, failing to see the angry look that
cross Peter face.
“He broke up with you, he ended the whole
thing. What explanation are you waiting for?
Romeo is a playboy and would always be one,
so stop hoping he would come back to you and
move on” he half yelled, looking like a different
person and though his action surprised Thalia,
she immediately mask it with a smile.
“How can I move on from someone I love? It’s__”
Thalia gasp out when he suddenly hit the table.
“Love isn’t what he feels for you, Thalia and am
sure that you also feel the same” he said gently,
moving towards her.
Thalia wanted to move away from him but he
held her by the waist and pulled her towards
him.
“The world doesn’t revolve around Romeo, if you
look well enough, you will see that there are
people more better than him” he said now
wearing a sad expression.
Letting go of her, he walk towards the door and
was about to open it when he turned to her.
“Remember that Romeo isn’t the only guy in the
world” he added lightly before going out of the
hostel.

<< NEXT DAY ~ COLLEGE >>
“Why the hell won’t he pick up!” Cherry half
yelled as she left the business building.
Ever since she cast the spell, she hasn’t been
able to get the chauffeur off her back.
He keeps following her around like a dog and
just this morning, he tried to force a kiss on her.
She has to find a way to reverse the spell and
that can only be done by Peter who refuse to
take her call.
She dialled his number for the fifth time and
quickly he picked the call.
“Why have you been ignoring my calls!” Cherry
yelled down the line.
“What the hell do you want?” He said not
minding her outburst.
“Tell me how to reverse this spell. The chauffeur
is driving me nuts, he keeps on following me
and__”
“Didn’t I tell you to figure it out yourself?”
“How can I do that when I know nothing about
it. We both agreed to work on this plan, you
can’t refuse to help me “
“Oh really? Says who?”
“Peter!” She yelled startling the passerby.
“Our deal is off Cherry, I don’t have the time to
bother chit chatting or helping you. Have got
something more important to work on and so,
it’s best we go our separate ways from here”
” You can’t do this to me, Peter. You’ve got to
help me, we both made a deal and__”
“Weren’t you ever told to never make a deal with
the devil? You shouldn’t have expect the devil to
be fair. Like I said I have more important things
to attend to, do me a favour and don’t ever call
me again. We are done!” He said before ending
the call.
“You bastard!” Cherry cried out in frustration
and dialled his number once again but he didn’t
pick.
“How can you do this to me? I won’t let you
discard me! You have no right to ” Cherry kept
muttering to herself as she began to walk off
but someone at a distance caught her attention
and a mischievous smile splayed on her lips.
“Two can play this game” she said as she went
to Thalia, obstructing her path.
“What do you want?” Thalia asked, annoyed at
seeing her.
“To tell you something”
“I have no interest in wh@tëver you have to__”
“It’s about Peter. I want to tell you something
about him and am sure you are going to be very
interested” Cherry added, gaining Thalia’s
attention.

As soon as the professor left, Daniella began to
pack her things wanting to leave but she didn’t
get to accomplish that since what she’s trying
to run from came to her instead.
“We’ve got to talk” Jerry said.
“We’ve got nothing to talk about” Daniella
replied wanting to leave but he took hold of her
hand and began to pull her out of the class.
“What are you doing? Let go of me!” Daniella
said trying to pull free but that only got him
tightening his hold on her.
He pulled her into the judo club and
immediately bolt the door.
“What is wrong with you?” She yelled.
“Why are you avoiding me? Why won’t you give
me the chance to talk to you?”
“Cause I don’t want to listen to it, I already know
what you want to say and I’d rather not hear it”
she said and was about to leave when he pulled
her back.
“Do you even know what I want to say?”
“Yes! I know what you are going to say. I know
that you intend to reject me, I know that you
going to say that you love Cherry and that I
should get on with my life and__”
“Cherry is history”
“And that I__ what did you say?”
“I said that Cherry is history. You are right, like a
fool I kept on wanting a girl who felt nothing for
me. I thought that if I had another girl by my
side, she will end up getting jealous and fall for
me but fate had another thing in store ” he said
moving towards her, cupping both her cheeks.
“My plan was to get cherry back to my side but I
ended up falling in love with you” Jerry Confess.
“Am sorry it took me long to see it but I__”
“If you are saying this to mess with me then you
should stop. There’s a limit to what I can take”
Daniella said cutting him off, tears br!m-mln in
her eyes.
“What do I have to do to make you believe me?”
Jerry asked wanting to take hold of her hand
but she move away from him.
“Nothing, don’t do anything and leave me alone”
she said and walk past him.
She was about to open the door when he spun
her around and claim her lips.

<< ROMEO’S PENTHOUSE >>
For the sixth time, Thalia called Romeo phone
but he left it ringing.
It’s been like that ever since he broke things off
with her yesterday.
Who would have thought that she being his
aura would end up being a dangerous thing for
her___ he thought as his mind drifted back to
the conversation he had with his aunt and the
monk .
If Thalia kept staying by his side, she will end
up dying which is something he doesn’t want.
Thalia called him again and quickly he left the
sitting room, heading to the bathroom to take a
bathe.
A while later, he got back to the sitting room to
see a missed call from Michelle.
He was about calling her back when her call
came through.
“Hel__”
“Romeo” Michelle cry drifted into his ear making
him alert.
“What’s wrong?”
“It__its Thalia, she’s been kidnapped” Michelle
said.
