CHAPTER 28~29

“Laurent” Josephine muttered shockingly.
A maid quickly rushed there and took the fallen
spoon, she replaced it with another spoon and
stepped back.
“I bet by your reaction you know him” Chairman
uttered with a smile.
“Did he know anything about this?” Josephine
asked.
“I don’t think so but very soon he will be meeting
you, he’s so handsome” Mrs Kings said and
Josephine scoffed.
“I know what you guys are planning but don’t
you think you both went too far?” Josephine
snapped.
Chairman and his wife glanced at each other.
“How??”
“I lost my appetite, good night father and
mother” She stood.
“Get ready for a dinner night with him”
Chairman said.
Josephine frowned and walked out.
“Do you think she will agree to date him?” Mrs
Kings asked.
“Yes, she will have no choice but to date him”
Chairman replied, and they smiled at each other.
Josephine came out of the mansion in a foul
mood, what do her parents really think of her?
Trying to set her up with Laurent.
He’s a good guy, yeah, but that thought hasn’t
crossed her mind, they can’t click..
“I pray he is against this Sh|t too” She said and
pushed herself into the car.
She drove out of the mansion.
<NATHAN’S APARTMENT>
He’s currently writing a new song on his song
notebook, his whole attention is on what he’s
doing as he listens to slow RnB music on his
phone.
His pen was moving on the white sheet as he
wrote the lyrics down.
The sudden ringing of his phone interrupted
him, he dropped the pen and picked up the
phone.
“Camila” He smiled.
“Nathan” She called in a sweet voice.
“I missed you” He blurted.
“I missed you too” She replied and his lips
curved into a cute smile.
“I’m writing a new song, I will show it to you
tomorrow when you come” He said and he
could picture her smiling.
“I can’t wait to see what it will look like, I’m
writing some lyrics too” She said.
“Got 100 followers on IG already” He said.
“You see what I was telling you, you will get
more in due time” She said.
“Good night” She said.
“I’m not done talking” He said and she laughed.
“I’m listening”
“I don’t have anything to say, I just want to keep
hearing your voice” He said.
“Is my voice that sweet?” She asked, grinning.
“Sweeter than where I came from” He replied.
“Sweeter than where… What!!!” She gasped as
she finally understood what he really meant.
“You are a pervert” She shouted.
“Good night” He laughed.
“Don’t cut that call Nathan or else…
“Or else what?” He interrupted, and stopped
laughing.
“You have a death wish” She replied and he
blinked.
“Seriously?” He laughed again.
“Sweeter dreams” She said and when he made
to talk again, she cut the call.
Nathan smiled softly and placed a hand to feel
his running heart.
“She’s making my heart race so much” He
mumbled.

Josephine’s car drove into the mini garage, and
she came out locking the car’s doors.
She got her phone and started walking inside
with a prick look on her face.
She was still mad at what her parents were
planning.
She got to the living room and she halted when
she saw Mindy and Pascal watching a live
concert.
Her attention went to where Mindy was hugging
Pascal’s arm and somehow that didn’t sit well
with her.
She swallowed and looked away.
“Hey here” She said and they turned their
attention to her.
“Best” Mindy waved with a smile but it didn’t
last a second on her face before vanishing.
“Are you okay? What’s up with your mood?” She
asked.
“I will be in my room” Josephine said after
looking at Pascal.
He looked at her but she looked away before
going in.
Pascal sighed worriedly and tried standing up
but Mindy held him back.
“Where are you going?” She asked, looking into
his eyes.
“I need to talk to her, she is not fine” He replied.
“You can do that later, I think she needs to be
alone, maybe she had a fight with her parents”
She said and he looked at her before nodding.
He sat back and Mindy hugged his arm back.
He was sitting there but his mind wasn’t there,
he was thinking of Josephine. He really missed
her despite Mindy being around with him since
she left.
He can’t stop thinking about her and right now
he’s more worried. Pascal didn’t enjoy the rest
of the concert till the end.
Mindy fell asleep immediately after the concert
came to an end, and her head fell back on the
couch but she was hugging his arm.
Pascal took his eyes to where she was holding
him and he gently released her hold on him, he
stood up and went to Josephine’s room.
He entered the room and found her sleeping
with her face down.
“Miss Josephine” He called and she looked up.
“You came in without knocking. What if I was
naked?” She frowned.
“I’m sorry, what is wrong with you?” He asked,
concerned.
He came closer.
“Did Mindy leave?” She asked.
“She’s sleeping” He replied.
“I’m fine you can go and be with Mindy not like
I’m just coming back now” She scoffed.
“Huh!! Are you mad?” He blinked.
“I don’t have a reason to be” She said.
“Can you sit up?” He asked and she looked at
him.
“Why?” She asked.
“Just do it, please” He replied, blinking.
Josephine reluctantly sat in bed and he finally
got closer to her. He sat beside her on the bed
and took her hands.
She looked at him confusingly wondering what
he’s trying to do but at the same time her heart
started racing.
“Tell me why you are this way?” He asked softly
and she was almost tempted to blush but she
stopped herself.
The deep care and concern in his voice was
killing.
“I had a disagreement with my parents” She
replied, looking into his eyes.
“You don’t have to be sad, ok, it’s normal to
have disagreements with your parents, you are
punishing your cute face but being moody” He
said gently and she smiled.
“You just smiled, I was missing you badly” He
said, caressing her nails.
“Mindy was with you”
“But I was still missing you” He said and pulled
her into a hug.
The loud beat of their hearts came instantly as
he hugged her.
“The truth is I was missing you too” She replied
and slowly wrapped her arms around him.
“Your heart is beating fast” He suddenly said
and embarrassment covered up her cheeks.
“It….it happened when I’m angry” She bit her lips
at that awful lie.
“Wait! Yours is beating fast too” She said.
“It’s because of you” He replied before he could
stop himself.
“Huh!! Me? Why?” She asked.
He smiled and broke the hug.
“I’m less worried now seeing your face back to
the cheerful one” He winked handsomely, and
she smiled.
“Thank you for making me feel better”
“You are welcome auntie Josephine” He said
and she laughed loudly.
“Have you eaten?” He asked and she nodded her
head.
Mindy walked into the room sleepily, and they
turned to her.
“Are you okay now?” Mindy asked, falling on
bed.
“Yes”
“You look cuter now, good night” She said and
closed her eyes immediately.
Pascal stood after giving her an affectionate
look before leaving.
“I suck at lying, what’s happening to my heart?”
She giggled at how he was acting so cute and
nice.
“He really cares about me, such a cutie” She
blurted and quickly hit her head.
“Stop thinking weirdly” She said and fell back on
the bed.
<NEXT MORNING>
Pascal and Josephine were in the kitchen when
Mindy came in already dressed.
Her dad needs her at home.
“Good morning” She smiled and hugged
Josephine.
“You are leaving?” Josephine asked.
“Yeah, dad wants me at home” She replied as
they broke the hug.
“Pascal” She smiled and pecked him.
“I will give you a call” She said and walked out.
“Do you allow everyone to peck you?” Josephine
faced him with a slight frown.
“No, she is the only one who does that” He
replied.
“She has your number but I don’t and we are
living together” She said silently but he heard
her.
What is the sound of that? Is she jealous of her
friend right now?
“Why are you sounding that way?” He asked
and she looked away from his face.
“Let’s continue with what we were doing” She
said and took a spoon but Pascal turned her to
himself.
She looked into his eyes and what she wanted
to say went back in her throat.
There was this charm in his eyes that got her
and she started staring. She got lost in it and
totally forgot he was staring back at her. She
was alone in her world of admiration
She gasped when she found herself in his arms,
he smiled at her and placed her on the counter,
coming in between her legs.
His sweet breath fanned her face and her heart
skipped a loud beat.
It started thumping hard against her chest and
he did the worst by licking his lips.
It became so wet and her eyes couldn’t leave
that spot.
It was tempting and irresistible, she was greatly
tempted and almost crashed on it but the
thought that she is his teacher hit her and she
stopped but she didn’t look away.
“You are naturally beautiful, you don’t need
makeup, you are the make up yourself” He
whispered and she blushed, she didn’t fight
hiding it this time, she let it out.
Her n*pples hardened on her chest as he
wrapped his hands around her waist.
“Say something Josephine” He whispered
seductively.
She wanted to say something so badly but the
intense stare in his eyes pushed the words back
and she only moved her lips.
He brought his face deep closer and she
grabbed the counter edges tighter, not breaking
the contact with his eyes, she wanted to keep
looking at the charm in his eyes.
She doesn’t know what he’s doing to her but
wh@tëver that’s making her vulnerable now she
wants it to continue.
“Pascal!” She called in a small voice and his
heart almost exploded.
“Can you call me that again?” He asked sëxily.
“Pascal” She called and he kissed her cheeks,
his breath started fanning her face and she felt
the sensation hitting her.
What is happening now is something she can’t
control.
He brushed her hair to her back and started
caressing a spot on her neck.
“Pascal!!”” She whispered a sweet Mõ@n.
“Do you want me to kiss your lips?” He asked
seductively, giving her that intense mesmerizing
look.
“Yes” She replied senselessly, and his throat
moved hungrily.
