Standing far away from the pool, he heard a
faint scream
“Emily!!”he murmur, running off to where the
scream came from
When Cassano got to the pool, he met Matilda
there, squatting beside Emily who laid on the
floor like someone who was lifeless
Her clothes was soaked with water and her
eyes were closed
Immediately, Cassano went to Emily, carrying
her in his arm…. In a bridal style which made the
others gasp, including Matilda
She knew that he already loved her but not to
this extend. She stare at Cassano as he walked
away
Well, if it wasn’t for her, Emily would have
drowned and died..
She had followed Emily when Emily walked out
of the party but lost her when she went back in
to take her purse. She stood outside, only for her
to walk in but saw someone jump through the
roof
As she was about to trail who it was, she heard
a scream in the pool and getting there, she
found Natasha drowning.
She had wanted to leave but her heart could not
accept to see what belong to Cassano suffer so,
she dived in to the pool
“You should get changed else you’ll catch cold”
Wayne said behind Matilda, causing her to
scoff
“You don’t tell me what to do Mr” Matilda
snapped at him. She tried to walk out but he
grabbed her
“You must be out of your mind to believe that I’ll
leave you like this” Wayne replied putting on a
straight face
“What are you trying to do?” Matilda yell at him
“What does it look like I’m trying to do?”he ask
back, not yelling

CASSANO’S ROOM
Cassano sat beside Emily, hoping that she
would just open her eyes. Already, the guards
who were supposed to be in duty were already
receiving their deserved punishment
Cassano sigh, his face on his palm. He regretted
ever taking his eyes off her for a minute. The
door opened and Tommy came in
“Cassano, I think you should take your rest. The
doctor already assured you that she will be
fine”Tommy said, patting Cassano’s shoulder
“For how long will she stay like this? Those
guards are suppose to be in their verge of death
by now. Do you know how I’m scared? I know
that there’s no other person that will do this
except a spy from Aguero”
“Meaning that there is a spy within us?” Tommy
questioned, bewildered
“Isn’t it obvious?” Cassano replied with a
question
Tommy sigh
“Whoever it is…..If I finds out that it’s one of us,
I’ll so much make life unbearable for him or her..
…I’m sweating with my late parents grave”
Cassano said. He took a glance at Emily and
then walked out
COMPUTER ROOM*
Cassano walked in and his eyes fell on Cat who
was operating the system
“Unable to find a footage?” he ask her
“Yes. Seem like the cameras were tampered by
someone” Cat replied, still punching the
keypads
Just then, Rusty walked in together with Jojo
“Were you both able to find anything?” Cassano
asked, facing them
“No. Everywhere in the clan is cleared”Rusty
replied
“What happened to your finger?” Cassano
questioned when he saw the injury on Rusty’s
finger
“I got injured. It’s a minor injury” Rusty smile
while Cassano scoff
There was nothing to smile about
“I hope so” Cassano said, turning to Cat
“Since the camera was tampered, you should
forget about searching for a footage” he said to
her
Cat nod
He left them, walking out of the computer room
and Cat followed. Just as she was about to
walk out of the door, she collide with Lucas and
was about falling but he grabbed her waist
“Pretty” her wink at her
“Pervert” she snap at his, yanking his hand off
her waist

BACK IN THE COMPUTER ROOM*
Jojo turn around, wanting to leave but Rusty
grabbed her hands, causing her to glare at him
“I… I’m sorry” he apologise
“To be honest, I h@të the silent treatment you’re
giving to me. It’s really killing me slowly and… ”
“It won’t still change the fact that you’re a
murderer, Ruben” Jojo impeded, calling his real
name. She stare at him, trying to hide the
betrayal, hurt and pain in her eyes
Rusty looked away
“I know that you won’t believe me no matter
how much I explain to you” Rusty said, leaving
her hand
“What do you have to explain to me? The fact
that you hurt me deep down? The fact that I felt
betrayed? I tried Ruben, I tried not to believe that
you weren’t the one because I loved you and
never stop doing that but, it’s not working
because I saw you! I Füçking saw you that night”
Jojo yell at him
“You still love me and you keep on pretending
all these while? You know deep down that I
can’t do such thing. Even though I knew Mandy
was a traitor I still couldn’t bring myself to kill
her. I love Mandy just the way I do for you. Do
you know the risk I took back then and now just
for you? Do you know that I would have been
long gone if Cassano knew that I was aware
about Mandy being a spy? But I did this out of
love. Just because I loved you right from the
very first time you were brought here and you
still blame me for Mandy’s death? You’re cruel
and heartless Jojo” Rusty yell back. He too was
feeling pained and it was obvious
“I… I just don’t know what to do” Jojo cried
“I think I should leave you but, have this at the
back of your inner mind that I am not your
sister’s killer. He’s around you, just a hint” Rusty
said with a cold voice and walked out
Jojo squat on her knee, still crying
“I don’t want to blame you Rusty and I don’t
want to blame myself either. I just needed
someone to take the blame…..i really love you,
Ruben” Jojo murmur, still crying uncontrollably

THE NEXT DAY
Emily slowly opened her eyes and the first
person she saw was Cassano.
His head was on the bed and his hands on hers.
It was obvious that he slept while watching over
her.
She stood up, trying to take her hand of his but
he tightened his grip
“You should go back to sleep. Take enough rest”
Cassano said as he raised his head up
“I already took enough rest” Emily replied
“Why did you leave the party alone?” Cassano
ask, staring at her
“I was feeling uncomfortable and… ”
“Uncomfortable? Could you not tell any of the
guards to escort you? Do you know how much
scared I was when I saw you in that state? You
were Füçking unconscious and I thought that
you might die. I couldn’t even stop blaming
myself because of your carelessness and now,
a lot of lives are out there, receiving their
punishment for failing to do their job” Cassano
growl, causing Emily to flinch
She was really scared of him right now
“Cassano! Why are you overreacting?” Emily ask
“Because I love you and I don’t joke with anyone
I love” Cassano answered, causing Emily to
widen her eyes
“Y…you love me?” Emily asked, with a broken
voice
She couldn’t believe what she just heard. The
ruthless Mafia in the whole of Italy, I love with
her
“Yes! You are my weakness because I love you
insanely” he confessed.
