Ella fainted after hearing the recording she was
rushed to the school’s infermary.
Dorcas was free from the allegations laid
against her. She hugged me in front of the
Senate. I guess it was due to adrenaline rush
and happiness.
I noticed our HOD was staring at us before she
finally said,
“this is not a love arena you guys can go now”
We thanked the Senate and went back home. I
called Cynthia and told her we succeeded and
won the case.
She was very happy she said,
“We gonna party tonight”
I laughed and reminded her,
“cra*zy girl don’t forget you have an exams to
write tomorrow morning”
She shouted,
“ayyyy let me go and read there’s this topic
that’s giving me tough time thanks for
reminding me I love you. My regards to Dorcas
our future wife”
I responded,
“I h@të you more. I will extend your greetings. My
regards also to Chidi your future husband.
Infact let me inform Isah”
Cynthia cuts in,
“Hardguy please am not ready for Isah’s trou”ble
right now. Maybe after my exams you can do
that but for now please don’t. Infact I will
prepare your favorite meal tomorrow after my
paper”
We ended the call and I promised not to inform
Isah.
The reason she doesn’t want Isah to know
about Chidi is because she swore never to fall in
love and now she is.
Things went well, we finished our exams with
less stress.
Ella was charged to court, she was to pay the
sum of two million naira as compensation to
Dorcas.
Her husband nearly divorced her, what saved
her was the DNA test that came out positive.
It was time for clearance. I and Dorcas did ours
together since we are in same department.
Everything was moving fine not until we got to
Mrs Aishat’s office.
I entered and greeted her,
“Good afternoon ma I am here for my clearance.
I need your signature on this please”
She looked at me and smiled,

I just smiled so she could just sign on the paper
I don’t know why she was talking too much.

friend or should I say girlfriend in your hands”
I asked,
“how ma?”
she replied,
“You are the best graduating student that’s a
fact you are really bright, but do you know I can
give you second class lower instead of first
class and that your friend she wasn’t that bright
so I think third class will be a pleasure and
honor to her”
I replied,
“but ma we did everything right, we passed our
exams why would you want to do that”
She stood up walked up to me placing one hand
on my shoulder and the other hand walking it’s
way up from my lap to my chest.
She said,
“you did everything right but you still have one
more to make everything perfect. A taste of
what’s down thier and that all”
I was about to talk when she placed a finger on
my lips and said,
“don’t worry your friend won’t know and even if
she does it won’t hurt because you did it for the
both of you”
I picked up my files and left her office in anger.
I meet Dorcars who was at the receptionist
waiting for her turn. I held her hands and we
walked out of office.
Dorcars kept asking,
“Hardguy what’s wrong ”
“talk to me”
I didn’t say anything we stopped a biked and
went back home.
I entered and slammed the files on a table.
Dorcas walked up to me, placed her hands on
my cheeks and asked,
“what’s wrong? what happened back there?”
I didn’t reply,
“common talk to me it been long I’ve seen you
this an*gry”
I asked her,
“is it a cri*me to be in love? Is it a cri*me to
finally find peace”
She looked straight into my eyes and said,
“love is not a cri*me hardy”
I continued to rant,
“the last time it was Ella trying to spoil our
future now it’s HOD trying to give us lower
grades. Is this karma trying to punish me? Or
am I a bad luck to you always putting your
future at risk……”
I was ranting when Dorcars shut my up with a
kiss. 😁We were still kissing when Cynthia
showed up and she asked,
“Can’t you guys use the bedroom and stop
oppressing we the virgins”
We broke the kiss and laughed. We sat down in
the sitting room.
I explained everything the HOD said and how it
will affect both I and Dorcas if we refuse to do
what she wants.
We can’t report to the school’s authority
because she kinda own everyone in the school.
Dorcas asked,
“Can I have your phone”
I gave her my she opened the recorder and
played a recording of what transpired between I
and the HOD.
I asked,
“how did you do it”
she replied,
“you remembered I asked for your phone before
you entered her office.
I replied
“yes I remembered”
she said,
“I placed it on recording. I never trusted that
woman from day she followed us into the
restroom and her reaction during my
malpractice case with Ella. I had to look out for
my loved one”
I smiled kissed her.
Cynthia stood up to leave and said,
“You guys are disgusting. You don’t only make
out in the sitting room but also in the restroom
taaar”
She walked into her room and banged the door.
I sent the record to Mrs Aishat threatening to
expose her to the Senate.
she laughed and texted,
“try it and you won’t get any result or certificate I
own a strong hold in this school the senate
won’t even listen to you don’t waste your time”
I kept a screenshot of her reply and texted back,

school and on social media”
She deleted the text. I sent her a screenshot.
She texted back,
“come tomorrow with your papers and delete
those things. Nothing of this nature ever
happened”
The next day we took the papers to her office
and she signed everything without saying a
word to me.
We had a mini party after our graduation Isah
also came to celebrate with us. During the party
Chidi walked up to me and said,
” Bro thanks very much you saved my life and I
owe everything to you”
I replied,
“bro code, I got you”
he replied,
“I want to talk to you about Cynthia I really like
her alot I would love to take it to the next level
what do you think?”
I replied,
“I have been seeing the spark. All the best bro
just don’t hurt her if not I will haunt you down”
He smiled and said,
“I love her I won’t hurt her. Bro my papers to
Canada came out the afternoon so I will be
traveling out soon by God’s grace”
I happily replied,
“congrats bro does she knows”
he replied,
“I wanted to surprise her”
Life wasn’t easy after school I had to to hustle
for work and it wasnt for coming so I and Isah
travelled to Lagos to hustle but Lagos seemed
not to favour us so we travelled down to Abuja
our land of prosperity and riches.
