“Who the heck is this intruder””Maxwell spat out
as Ivan eyes turn bloodshot as he rushed to
Maxwell angrily….”
Before Maxwell could got up, he grabbed him by
the collar and landed a punch on his mouth as
his mouth bleed with blood ouzing out.
“Hey, who are you to fight me,”Maxwell yelled
and made to hit him but Ivan dodged it and
grabbed the flower vase beside and smashed it
on his head and Maxwell fell on the ground.
And Ivan came on top of him releasing blows
and punches to him.
“You are suppose to be her uncle and you are
forcing yourself on her. How could you be so
cruel and heartless, for how long has you been
sleeping with her bastard,”Ivan yelled with anger
written all over his face punching him all over
his face as it was unrecognizable.””
Izzy seeing that Ivan could kill Maxwell rushed
to him and hugged him but Ivan pushed her
away and she crashed on the ground with tears
rolling down her face.
After beating to him to his satisfaction, he stood
up and by then Maxwell was already weak
groaning on the ground in pains all over his
body.
“You deserve to jail monster, I will make sure
you pay dearly for it,”Ivan yelled and put a call
across to the cops “”
Not long after, the cops arrived and entered the
house and they put the handcuffs around
Maxwell’s wrist.
“Mr. Maxwell You are under arrest for the
molestation and sëxual harassment of Miss
Izzy and anything you say will be used against
you in the court of law,”the cop said as they
dragged him away from the house putting him
inside their van and they drove off.””
“Ivan,”Izzy called out in tears as she stood up
and made to touch him but he yanked off her
head”
“Don’t you freaking touch me, I h@të you so
much,”Ivan yelled as the words pierced deeply
into her heart.””
“Please, I’m sorry. It’s not what you are thinking
of,”Izzy cried already heartbroken”
“Then, what is it. If I haven’t rush back to give
you the gift I bought for you, would I have seen
the truth now,”Ivan fired back at her.””
“Ivan I’m sorry, it all’s started when he picked up
on the road because I was an orphan. Ever since
I grew up, I don’t know who my parents is, I was
abandoned and helpless till he took me in and
turned me into his s*x slave. That’s the reason
why I turned cold-hearted until you came into
my life. I really care for you Ivan, I love you so
much,”Izzy said as Ivan dropped the nylon on
the couch and glared at her h@tëfully.””

friendship,”ivan said and left the house as Izzy
bursted into tears.”
The look on his face shows that he actually
h@tës her. Tears rolled down her face as she
cover her face with her palm.
On the second thought, she was happy that
she’s Ivan saved her and she’s free at last.
“I hope you can forgive me Ivan. I love you so
much,”she muttered””

Pinky was waiting for her driver to repair her car
and that’s why she’s still waiting in the class.
The car was repair and her driver called her on
the phone and she walked out of the class and
start heading to her car when Steve blocked her
way.
“You haven’t go home, what are you still doing
here jerk,”Pinky asked rolling her eyes””
“I’m waiting for my Queen,”Steve replied””
“Move out of my way now,”she snapped and
made to move to the other way but Steve
blocked it too””
“Am sorry beauty but I can never let you go,
“Steve winked at her as Pinky scoffed crazily””
“Are you out of your mind. The kiss we shared is
just a mistake and you are not my boyfriend. I
wonder why I have to play along with you,”pinky
groaned stamping her feet angrily on the
ground.””
“Stop hurting the ground pretty, can I have your
number,”Steve said and stretched out his phone
to her as Pinky stared at him.””
“Seriously, do you think I’m like other girls that
clings to you. Sorry baby boy,”Pinky replied and
made to leave but Steve dragged her by the
waist as she slammed on his chest””
She stared into his eyes and she found herself
melting instantly, his eyes are charming. Her
heart was beating loudly as she felt his breath
on her face.
“Are you drooling at me sweetie,”he whispered
to her as Pinky swallowed nothing””
Pinky realized herself and pushed him off and
rushed off to her car and drove off as Steve
smiled widely licking his lips.
“I think I’m in love with her, I will make her fall
for me. I won’t give up,”Steve vowed with
determination written on his face.””
He turned back and met Kelvin who was
heading to his car as he felt guilty for accusing
him falsely.
“I must make up with him,””he muttered and
rushed to Kelvin and tapped his shoulder as
Kelvin turned as a frown appeared on his face.

“What do you want? Are you here to punch my
face or better still accuse me of betraying you,
“Kelvin said as Steve grabbed his hand””
“Am sorry for accusing you, I was just blinded
by anger. Let’s go back to the best of friends
that we are before. Forgive me please,”Steve
pleaded and made to go on his knees but kelvin
pulled him up and embraced him.””
“I forgive you bro, I’m sorry for my actions,
“kelvin replied and they disengaged from the
hug”.”
“What can I do to make you happy now?”Steve
asked”
“Let’s go and have fun, I miss it especially
licking vanilla ice cream,”Kelvin laughed as they
entered their respective cars and drove off””

“I have been hiding this feelings for so long
Xander and I think this is the perfect time for me
to confess it to you. I love you so much,”Raven
confessed as Xander widen his eyes in shock.””
He wasn’t expecting it, it came as bombshell to
her as he stared at Raven.
He stood up and start leaving the garden but
Raven hugged him from behind rubbing his
chest.
“Please don’t leave me Xander, I love you right
from the day I joined this clan. I can’t stop
thinking about you. Just give me a chance, I will
prove my love for you,”Raven confessed as
Xander pulled her out of his body.”
“I’m sorry,”Xander replied as tears rolled down
Raven’s face. “I’m sorry I can’t reciprocate your
feelings even if I can do it, its too late for me. I
like someone else and she’s the key to my heart,
”
“Is it because of her right?,”Raven asked in
tears”
“Who are you talking about?,”xander asked
confusedly””
“I know it’s because of Karina that Bîtch,”Raven
yelled as Xander eyes turned dark as he
grabbed her by the collar””
“Never you insult the mother of my unborn child,
nonsense,”Xander yelled and throw her on the
ground as Raven coughed out blood””
“Xander, Xander you can’t do this to me,”Raven
cried as she stared at his retreating figure till it
was out of sight.””
Anger was written on her face as she thought of
Karina and she stood up wiping off the blood
on her face with the back of her palm.
“I can’t let you take Xander away, I promise even
it’s means eliminating you from the surface of
the earth,”she vowed folding her fist””

“That girl that was pushed off the rooftop is
you. Your name is Lyla Marshal and your
parents was killed the same day you were
pushed off the rooftop,”John dropped the
bombshell as Karina gasped in shock”
“Hell no, this can’t be possible. What the heck
are you saying?” Karina yelled ”
“It’s true, you are the girl that was pushed down
the rooftop. Your real isn’t Karina but Lyla
Marshal,”John replied as the incident of five
years ago flashed into his head”
(FLASHBACK)
Lyla was rushed into the hospital as soon as
possible as her uncle came in and she was
moved into the ward.
The door was closed as the doctor assured
John of her safety and he sat on the chair there
praying silently for nothing to happen to her.
The doctor were done treating her as she was
moved to another ward having a bandage on
her head as John sighed in relief.
He entered the ward and met her unconscious
but she was breathing as the doctor came in.
“How is she, is she alright?, “John asked ad the
doctor Shaked her head””
“Her chance of surviving is 50/50. She’s in
coma,”the doctor dropped the bombshell as
John staggered”
“What! Is there any chance of her waking up,
“John asked.
“It might take weeks,months or even years,”the
doctor replied as John sighed in frustration”
His phone rang and he picked the call without
hesitation. It was Lyla’s father calling on the
phone.
“Hello, am I speaking with John Marshall,”a
voice said on the phone””
“Yes, who are you and why are you holding my
brother phone,”John asked””
“I’m sorry, the owner of this phone and his wife
have been murdered in their house,”the person
said””
“What,”John screamed loudly””

(STILL ON THE FLASHBACK)
John drove inside the compound and alighted
from the car only to meet a huge crowd in the
house.
He rushed towards and felt his life taken away
seeing his brother and his wife stabbed on the
stomach as tears rolled down his face.
“Nooo brother, you can’t leave me. Tell me this
is a dream,”he cried bitterly as his best friend
Marcus patted his back slowly.””
“Stop crying, you don’t need to cry over the
death of your brother but rather this is the time
for you to start looking for the killer. The
bastards behind everything,”Marcus said as
John looked at him “”
“You are right, I won’t stop at nothing to find the
person that kills my brother, I will make him or
she gets the painful death ever,”he vowed
clenching his fist””

(STILL ON THE FLASHBACK)
Xander stared at Lyla face as tear left his eyes,
he came to the hospital to see her and luckily,
her uncle is not there.
“I’m sorry for leaving you babe, it’s actually my
fault. Find a place in your heart to forgive me,
“Xander cried rubbing her hand softly””
“What’s going on here?”Xander heard a loud
growl and turned to see John standing at the
door with anger written all over his face and he
stood up.
“What are you doing here?”he asked standing
on his feet as Xander stopped on his tracks.”
“I’m here to Lyla. Hope she’s alright,”Xander said
as a slap landed on his face.””
“How can you show your face here after denied
everything about her. You took her virginity and
she’s pregnant for you. You denied ever taking
responsible for the baby and now you are here
to check up on her. You are happy right,”John
yelled with fire blazing in his eyes””
“I’m sorry, I think that it’s going to affect my
father’s image that’s why I act so stupid . Please
let me see her,”Xander pleaded with tears rolling
down his face”””
“I don’t want to see you near or closer to her else
you will rot in jail. I h@të you so much, because
of you she’s in coma,”John yelled angrily as
Xander rushed out of the hospital immediately.
“Am sorry Lyla. It’s my fault that you are in
coma,”Xander cried heartbroken””

(STILL ON THE FLASHBACK)
John was pacing around the house waiting for
his private investigator to call him about the
killer of his brother.
A knock was heard at the door and he hurried to
the door and opened it but he saw no one. He
saw a box there and grabbed it closing the door.
He dropped the box on the table and opened the
box only to meet a horrible scene in the box.
The private investigator he hired was being
killed and his head was inside the box.
“OMG,” he gasped in shock and saw a letter
attached to it. He picked it and starts to read it
which says:
“”NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU TRY, YOUR
BROTHER AND HIS WIFE IS GONE. DON’T TRY
TO COME AFTER ME LEONARD CALLAGHAN
ELSE YOU WILL PAY IT DEARLY WITH YOUR
LIFE””
He fell on the couch weakly as his hands were
shaking.
“I didn’t expect this from Leonard Callaghan,
they might forget what happened today but I
must revenge against them in the future,”John
gritted his teeth in anger.”
(THREE YEARS LATER)
Everything have changed all through the years
as a lifeless pretty girl was lying unconscious
on the bed.
Uncle John stared at Lyla as he was visit her
from time to time all through the years.
“You need to wake up Lyla, you need to make
Xander and his family pay dearly for it,”John
muttered as then her hand moved and John
was surprised.””
Just then, Lyla’s eyes flew open as John
gasped in shock. Lyla sat up as John pulled her
into a hug.
“Thank God for being awake, I miss you so
much,”John said and pulled out of the hug as
Lyla stared at her blankly”
“Who are you,”she asked as John was
confused””
The doctor entered the ward and checked her
with the setoscope as John watched keenly.
“She lost her memories,”the doctor said as John
was speechless. “”
Then an idea came into his mind as he nodded
his head.
“It’s a good thing she lost her memories
because it will make the plan of seducing
Xander and killing him works so easy”he
thought””
“Okay, excuse us for a while doctor,”the doctor
excused himself and left the ward.””
“Who are you and what am I doing here,”Lyla
asked confusedly””
John explained everything to him without
leaving any details as Lyla was filled with
hatred towards Xander.
“From now, your name is Karina Marshall and
not Lyla Marshal. You must deal with Xander
Callaghan at all means,”John said as Lyla
smirked inwardly””
(END OF THE FLASHBACK)
“That’s why I send you on the mission to seduce
and kill the son of the man that I thought killed
your parents”uncle John stated as Karina felt a
bang on her head “”
“Arrgghh,”she screamed loudly holding her head
as uncle John rushed to her.””
“Are you okay,”he asked as Karina closed her
eyes, memories of the past flooding into her
head as she remembers all of them.””
Tear slipped out of her eyes as she blurted out
the shocking word.
“My memories are back”
