Ruben was in great confusion, how come he
couldn’t say what he heard.
The father got furious thinking his son wants
him dead to take over his throne.
He ordered his soldiers to take Ruben out and
flogged him.
He reminded him that no one can kill him..not
even the gods.
” Old woman.. I’m sorry about that,you just
came and started seeing nonsense from my
son, please forgive us” the king said as the old
woman smiled.
” My king.. that’s not a problem..my king..you
have three sons but I haven’t seen one since I
came” the old woman said.
” Oh you mean my last son Krabs? He’s in his
room resting,he doesn’t do much work in the
palace because his blood is the one keeping me
going” the king said smiling as Adams looked at
him angrily.
” My king.. what do you mean by his blood keep
you going?” The old woman asked.
” Actually I take a cup from his blood everyday
and take to the underworld for incantations..the
demon king does that for me to get stronger
every Day,so Krabs isn’t always available.. he’s
always weak while I’m always strong… hahaha ”
the king laughed.
” Father that’s enough..that isn’t something you
should be proud of.. I’m warning you to stop it
already.. I’ll take Krabs away if you do not stop
that” Adams said angrily.
” Adams dear..you know you can’t leave my
side,of all my children you’re the only one who
loves me so much so you can never leave me
hahaha ” the king laughed.
The old seer kept observing while a solder
rushed in.
” My prince.. princess Helena is waiting for you
in your banquet” the soldier said as the king cut
in immediately.
” Hahaha..son..can you hear the good news?
Your future wife has arrived…go now and see
her” the king said happily.
” Father..I have no feelings for Helena, please
don’t forget ” the prince said leaving.
” My king..I should leave too, whenever you’re
ready with the snake water.. I’ll come do the
rituals” the old woman said leaving too.
” Guards..show her to her banquet ” the king
said.
The old woman left outside looking for Adams
banquet..
She’s really looking for ways to see the snake
and try her best to rise kira.
Imagine what she just find out about the king
drinking his son’s blood everyday,the demon
king is very powerful…
Does this means that kira won’t only face the
king in their battle but also the demon king?
The old woman really want kira to arise
because she has alot to teach her… even though
kira has supernatural powers but there’s allot to
learn.
She has always been her guardian…
She saved kira and her mum when Miriam was
still pregnant back then.
The old woman arrived Adams banquet and
saw princess Helena sitting alone.
Although she doesn’t know her but with the way
she’s dressed is just like a princess who is
forcing a man to marry her.
” Greetings princess Helena” the old woman
greeted.
Helena stood up and walked up to her angrily.
” What can your greetings do for me old
woman? Who are you and why haven’t I seen
you before?” Helena asked rudely as the old
woman smiled.
” My child,why do you look upset,is there
something bothering you? Why isn’t Adams
here with you..I thought he left to come meet
you? Or is it true that you’re forcing yourself on
him?” The old woman asked as Helena raised
her hand to slap her.
” Stop that Helena” the prince said coming with
the snake in his arms.
Helena dropped back her hand looking at the
prince angrily.
She couldn’t believe what she’s been hearing
was true.. the prince is actually poses by a
snake.
” Helena..why did you come again?” The prince
asked.
” So this is it Adams? The thing that has been
pushing you away from me, Adams can’t you
see she’s now a snake? She can’t be with you
any longer, Adams I also heard she’s your
daughter” Helena said as Adams cut in angrily.
” Don’t call her my daughter,she is the woman
I’m in love with .. wether she’s now a snake or
not.. she’ll still be the one I’ll chose over you”
Adams said rudely to her.
Tears rolled down Helena’s eyes.
“When she was a human you chossed her over
me…and now she’s a snake you’re still roaming
about with her in your arms? Adams you’re
unbelievable” Helena said in tears.
” When you’re ready to come inside.. I’m inside
with Helena” Adams said going in with kira as
the old woman kept looking at the snake.
” Indeed even the snake looks more beautiful
than you” the old woman said smiling as
Helena looked at her angrily.
” What did you say?” Helena asked angrily.
” ERM.. sorry I meant that the snake is very
pretty..wow.. which man will chose an ugly
woman over a beautiful snake” the old said
smiling.
” You better watch your toung before I report
you to the king to send you away” Helena said
about heading in as the d woman called her
back.
” Helena..I can help you get rid of the snake” she
said as Helena paused.
” What do you mean by that,you think I’ll fall for
your little tricks?” She asked frowning.
” Helena.. I’m the protector in Akarundo forest ”
old woman said
Helena looked at her surprisingly.
” Oh my God… greetings eyes of the gods” she
said bowing immediately.
” Please rise.. don’t be formal… I’m here to help
you get your man back,I feel sad whenever I see
the prince with that snake other than you…
which man in his right senses would want to be
with a snake instead of human, Helena I think
the prince was bewitched by kira…” The old
woman said.
” eyes of the gods,yes he was.. please tell me
how to stop that and make Adams love me” she
said.
” Can I ask you a question Helena?” Protector
said.
” Yes please ask me” she said.
” Do snake swim?” She asked.
“Of course not” she said.
“Find a way to put the snake in a drum of water.
.go now and do it.. the snake will die and you’ll
have the crown prince to yourself” the old
woman said.
” Omg..is that all? But eyes of the gods.. how do
I get the snake from Adams” she asked.
” I’ve done my part princess.. it’s time for you to
do yours” the protector said and left.
Helena went inside immediately and luckily for
her the prince was far asleep with the snake on
his chest.
Although the prince might Be sleeping but
Helena knows the kind of soldier he is.
Helena took a stick to Carry the snake because
she was scared and being careful not to wake
Adams.
She succeeded in carrying it and discovered the
snake was looking at her not attacking.
She pushed the snake into the kitchen and saw
a drum of water.
She took the snake with the stick to put in the
water when suddenly the snake said.
” Wow..be quick”
She threw it back to the ground in Shocks.
” You..you really talk?” Helena asked as the
snake kept mute.
She began to hear footsteps approaching the
kitchen as she heard the prince calling her.
” Helena… Helena have you seen kira?” The
prince asked from his room.
” No” she responded while the prince began to
come meet her in the kitchen.
The prince arrived in the kitchen and saw
Helena with a stick while kira was on the floor.
” Helena what are you trying to do to kira” the
prince asked as Helena carried the snake and
put it inside the drum of water.
” Noooooo.. Helena bring it out” the prince
screamed rushing closer.
They looked into the drum surprisingly they was
no snake inside but a great light appeared .
