Beatrice’s eyes widened as the wolf approached her, Gwen pounced on her instantly biting the side of her face making her scream.
Gwen removed her fangs from her face and dug it into her throat, instantly tearing it out of her neck. She acted like she had been possessed with how she savagely shredded Beatrice’s face and body.
A pain howl escaped her mouth.
Summer was shocked by everything that had just taken place in front of her, she had just witnessed a human convert into a wolf.
Gwen turned back into her human form and she was naked. She ran back to Ricardo and his eyes were closed, she knelt down beside his body and checked his breathing and it was so shallow.
“Mate” Gwen called, she hardly even remember his name
“Ric…cardo” Gwen shook him but there was no response.
Jake stood, dumbfounded by everything.
“Ricardo, please wake up!!!” Gwen screamed at the top of her voice, her wolf was wailing inside her. She impulsively bit him hard on the neck, deeply marking him.
“Gwen” Jake gasped.
“Ricardo!!!” Gwen screamed, with hot tears dropping out of her eyes. “Ricardo!!!”
It was the loudest scream of the Summer ever.
Ricardo gasped and his silver eyes became brighter. Gwen smiled amidst her tears, she had never felt so empty in her like she did a few seconds ago.
His eyes came back to their normal colour. Gwen dug her claws into his abdomen and chest and brought out the bullets.
“Arrrh” Ricardo groaned, hardly knowing what was happening around him. He didn’t even realise when his wounds closed.
“Ricardo, can you hear me?” Gwen asked with her voice quivering.
Jake removed his school shirt and threw it at Gwen.
He stopped staring at them and rushed to Summer who was tied up. He looked over at Beatrice’s mutilated body and he had the urge to do worse to her.
He untaped Summer’s lips and she let out a gasp. He quickly untied her and pulled her into a tight embrace, a probably suffocating one.
“You are alright, I was so scared” Jake muttered and heaved a sigh of relief.
“I’m fine, ” Summer said but she was still shaken by everything that had happened. If Gwen was a werewolf then what was Jake?.
Summer’s eyes widened when she realised that there was a probability that Jake could also be a werewolf.
“We should leave here” Jake said and carried her in bridal style.
Jake walked to where Gwen was and she was licking the blood off Ricardo’s neck but he kept moving away from her.
“Stay still” Gwen warned and licked the wound again and it healed as well. Ricardo touched his neck and there was no wound there, he checked where he was shot but there were no wounds.
“W-what’s going on?” Ricardo shivered.
“Let’s get out of her first, the neighbours might alert the cops about the gunshots and we don’t want to get in trouble.” Jake said and walked out of there.

Sully’s house>
Ricardo sat down wondering how his wounds healed and what he saw in that dream.
” Ricardo “Gwen called and moved close to him.
Ricardo glared at her. “Why did you mark me?” He yelled.
He had been seeing creatures and he knew what werewolves do, he couldn’t still believe that he was mated to one of them. He wasn’t even given a chance to make his choice.
“I understand that you are perplexed by everything but you are not human, you are nephilim and that’s why you see mystical creatures. You are an angel”Gwen said and it caused Ricardo to laugh.
” An angel?, I had my first f*ck when I was thirteen and I went to jail when I was eighteen for drug trafficking and you call me an angel” Ricardo chuckled dryly.
“You are half human and half nephilim, you simply needed something to really provoke your powers, your sins have nothing to do with it” Gwen muttered, she was shuddering a bit.
“And you had to mark me!!!” Ricardo yelled and there was this strange force from him that they all felt, his eyes also became brighter.
“Ricardo, calm down”
Ricardo closed his eyes and tried to catch his breath, the mark was triggering his powers. Gwen could feel all his emotions and he could feel hers well.
Ricardo stood up.
“Ricardo, you can’t leave in this state” Gwen cautioned but she received a glare from him.
“You better stay away from me” Ricardo glared and left the house.
“Ric…” Gwen trailed off.
Scarlett left Summer and went to comfort Gwen who was about to cry. She pulled her into a hug.
“He’s going to come around” Scarlett whispered and patted her back.
Meanwhile Jake and Summer hadn’t said a word to each other.
“Are you a…a werewolf?” Summer asked and faced him.
“Yes and you are my mate” Jake blinked nervously. He was scared that she would reject him, he wouldn’t have been bothered before but he had gotten attached to her.
“Will you dump me?” Jake questioned and gazed intently into her eyes.
Summer smiled slowly. “No, Jake”
“I won’t dump you” Summer shook her head and he kissed her lips.

Ricardo’s apartment>
Gwen knocked on the door of Ricardo’s house. She looked at herself and she was wearing a long and transparent white coloured gown .

The day she found out that Ricardo was her mate, she did a lot of research on him,that was how she knew his address.
She rang the bell and the door opened, it was Cameron(Oliver) who opened the door. He recognized her and a smile almost came on his lips.
This was Gwen, Beta Collins’ daughter. He had interest in her the very day he saw her but presently he had keep his feeling concealed.
“Hi” Cameron muttered.
“Hi, I’m here to see Ricardo” Gwen said.
It almost made Cameron frown and become jealous but he held back.
“He went out, he isn’t around” Cameron replied and it saddened Gwen.
“Alright, thank you”
“You can come in for a drink or two” Cameron smiled warmly at her.
“No thanks, goodnight” Gwen said and walked away.
Cameron balled his hands onto a fists. “Why is she after the angel?”

Hunt’s mansion>
” Because you are eighteen doesn’t mean that you can take such stupid descisions, you can’t just leave the house and go stay with Nathaniel! ” Myles scolded over the phone.
” Daddy, daddy! ”
” What! “Myles yelled.
” My new boyfriend is Jake and his mom is here, I am spending time with them and you will get to meet him soon”Summer said.
“First Lionel then Tom, Nathaniel and now Jacob like seriously, Summer???”Myles couldn’t believe his ears.
“Daddy.My airtime is almost gone, so I will talk to you later. Good night” Summer said and hung up.
Myles gasped while staring at his phone.
“How did I raise the girl?, what have I done wrong?” Myles questioned and palmed his forehead.
“Myles” Lola called and he turned to stare at the beauty goddess clambering down the stairs. She was wearing a glittering black dress that made her dazzle.
His heart indeed skipped a beat, for the first time he felt different and genuinely happy.
“You are stunning” Myles complimented and Lola blushed.
“Thank you” Lola flushed. He took her hand and pecked her knuckles like gentleman.
“I never knew you believed in chivalry, Sir” Lola smiled, he looked no less handsome in his Armani suit and handsomely styled hair.
He was handsome, that she noted but it wouldn’t make her h@të him any less.
They were about to leave when Lance walked in on them and he felt hurt while staring at them.
He swallowed hard and walked to them.
“Evening, guys” Lance forced a smile.
“Evening”
“Where are you both going?”Lance questioned, curiously.
” We are going to my penthouse here in Seattle and you are wasting our time” Myles rolled his eyes playfully and took Lola away.
“Bye, Lancelot” Lola turned back with a smile.
“Lancelot, ew!”
“Shut up!” Lola rolled her eyes at Myles.
Lance frowned heavily and quickly dialled a number on his phone.
“I have a job for you” Lance said as the recipient answered the call.

Gwen walked back home and saw Ricardo returning from wherever he went to.
“Ricardo” Gwen called and rushed to him.
Ricardo stepped back as he saw her.
“What do you want,?”
“We need to talk” Gwen said, gently.
“Talk about what!, talk about the fact that you marked me without giving me a chance to make my own decisions” Ricardo yelled.
“You are so ungrateful!, I saved your life and this is all you could say. I had the choice to reject you but I didn’t, do you think that I wanted to be your mate?” Gwen fired back.
“I awakened your powers and gave you a chance to live and you repay me with harshness!!!” Gwen thundered.
“I am a werwolf, I didn’t have a choice” Gwen said with tears stinging her eyes.
“Stay away from me” Ricardo warned and walked away but she held his arm.
“Get away from me!” Ricardo scowled and that energy emanated from him again, throwing Gwen off her feet.
“Ah” Gwen groaned as she landed few inches away from him.
Ricardo instantly became wistful, he walked to her and helped her up but immediately Gwen stood up, she slapped him on the cheek.
“You are an ungrateful bastard!” Gwen sobbed and walked away.

Myles’ penthouse>
They reached there hours later because of the traffic jam. Lola was highly impressed by the beauty and luxury of the house.
They had a few glasses of champagne and Myles decided to go to the pool side even though he couldn’t swim.
Myles always acted like he knew how to swim but he reality he was aquaphobic but he never allowed anyone to know this weakness.
Lola decided to get the pizza he ordered and she wondered if this was a date.
She signed and took the box of pizza from the delivery man. She then decided to cut the pizzas into slices but she suddenly heard some noises but she ignored them.
She heard grunts and groans. She dropped the knife and walked to the swimming pool area. She saw some guys throw Myles into the pool.
“Ahh!!!” Lola screamed.
Instead of attacking her as well, they only exited through a backdoor.
Lola walked closer to the pool and saw Myles drowning. He couldn’t swim.
Lola stood staring at him instead of helping him. Myles thrashed his hands in the water, drowning but Lola simply stared.
She kept looking till he stopped moving.
