CHAPTER 45 & 46. . . .
Olivia gazed at the car till it drove away and out
of her sight.
“Olivia honey?! are you okay? why are you
outside? ” Miss Judy who had came out from
the house
and had saw Olivia standing like a statue asked,
surprised making Olivia to jerk back to reality.
“What are you holding can i–
Miss Judy was saying and tried to take the box
from Olivia’s grip but Olivia quickly took a step
back.
“I…I’ll be inside…” Olivia stuttered, slowly and
ran in.
Miss Judy sighed, sadly and also strolled in too.
When Olivia got to her room, she took a shower,
put on her pajamas and sat on her bed.
She giggled as her thoughts flew back to all
what transpired today, the almighty Alex
Donovan kissed her! Ahhh! He even held her
waist?! Oh gosh am going insane!!
Olivia thought and laughed out loud,
So her dream finally came true, she has always
wished for Alex to reciprocate her feelings and
seems like her wish came to past.
Olivia thought and let out a sweet smile, she
opened the box, her diary and a new brand
phone came into view,
Olivia quickly took the phone as she gazed at it,
stunned.
It was an i phone 14 Pro max! But why would he
buy such for her, it’s too much.
Olivia smiled as she admired the phone, she
strolled through the phone and saw a contact
which
was saved as MY FIRST, she tapped on the call
icon and the person picked at the first ring.
“H…hello? ” Olivia muttered, softly.
But the other end was just silent, the only thing
you could hear was just the calm breathing of a
man.
“Alex….i know it’s you…thank you for the phone
though it’s too much but you’ve already given it
to me so thanks… ” Olivia mumbled, softly.
“Why are you silent? at least let me hear your
voice before going to bed” Olivia pouted.
But there was still no response.
“Alright goodnight…Alex ” Olivia mumbled and
glared at the phone screen.
Why isn’t he hanging up, is he asleep or
something??
Olivia thought and hung up the call, she giggled
as she rolled on her bed, right now she was
feeling like the happiest person on earth.
Olivia opened the diary and started scribbling so
many things inside with a wide smile.
Suddenly her stomach grumbled, Olivia
frowned, she has forgotten that she hasn’t
eaten anything through out today.
Olivia strolled towards the door, she opened the
door slowly and strode downstairs towards the
kitchen, she got to the kitchen and saw her
mom seated on the tattered wooden counter,
ignoring
her, she opened the small fridge and glanced
inside but what she saw inside was just some
bottles of alcoholic drinks,
“Baby are you hungry? I’ll–
Miss Judy was saying but stopped when Olivia
waved her hand in the air.
“Am not hungry–
Olivia was saying but paused when her eyes
met with a bunch of key which was on the
cabinet.
She had seen this key with her mom when she
hurriedly shoved those files inside her drawer,
could it be the key to the drawer?
“Of course am hungry, is there anything else to
eat? ” Olivia added, quickly.
Miss Judy quickly stood up from the counter
happily.
“Wait here baby let me buy some for you
outside ” Miss Judy uttered and quickly left the
kitchen.
Olivia quickly took a stool, climbed and took the
key, she quickly left for her mom’s room.
When she got there, she got in and shut the
door, she used the key to open the drawer and
saw so many files inside,
“Strange…what is she using all these files for?..
” Olivia mumbled as she brought out all the
files and dropped them on the floor.
She took one of it and fixed her gaze on it, what
was written inside made her heart to skip twice,
Wait…? liver failure??? stones in the kidney? a
hole..in the heart? who?
Olivia scattered all the files with her trembling
hands as she scrutinized them all with her eyes,
Operation…2.5 million dollars,
Operation….10 million dollars,
A kidney donor….needed..?
Olivia read and her body went stiff, it felt like
gravity was pulling her down.
“No… no it shouldn’t be… ” Olivia mumbled, her
voice coming out hoarse and shaky…
She flipped the files as she panicked and it
stopped on a particular spot, that was when
heavy tears rolled down her cheek and her eyes
became heavy, her vision went blurry when she
saw JUDY SMITH’S MEDICAL REPORT written
down on it.
Suddenly, the door burst open,
A loud gasp was heard behind her,
“Olivia?!!! “……….
<ARMSTRONG’S VILLA>
Violetta sighed, sadly as she gazed at a picture
of a newborn baby girl,
“It’s so hard…am trying so hard to forget that
you’re no more but I still can’t forget ” Violetta
muttered to the photo.
“If you’re alive, am sure you’ve grown up into a
very beautiful girl” Miss Judy mumbled and
sniffed.
They’ve searched and searched but found
nothing, Julie was the one who had stolen her
child. The day she gave birth to Olivia, it
was in the night and they were in the hospital, at
that time, Vince was still schooling in the state
and Charlotte was at home with the nanny while
her husband was with her in the hospital.
When she gave birth to Olivia, she fainted due to
exhaustion so the doctor had told her husband
that he should get her food to eat
because she would wake up anytime.
Immediately Michael left, according to the CCTV
camera, a woman with a black
Veil was seen inside the hospital room, she
don’t know how the lady got in but it felt like it
was a planned something. She took her
baby which on her body, fast asleep and left,
hurriedly. She wasn’t able to get a glimpse of
her baby’s face but her husband did took
pictures of the baby. When she woke up and
heard the news of how her baby was
missing, she had cried and almost sue the
hospital but still, they weren’t able to find the
culprit.
Though they checked the CCTV camera and
found out that it was a woman, she gave
someone to investigate on it but they could only
get only her name which is Julie and nothing
else was found again.
Violetta sniffed as she wiped her tears,
The door jerked open and Vince strolled in with
an annoyed look on.
But it vanished when he saw Violetta wiping her
tears,
“Mom is everything alright? ” Vince asked,
worriedly.
Violetta let out a faint smile.
“Yes…my lashes got into my eye. what
happened? is anyone looking for me? ” Violetta
muttered and quickly diverted the topic.
Vince gazed at her for a while and huffed,
“How well do you know this Patricia of a
woman?” Vince asked, seriously.
“You rude brat! how dare you call her by her
name, I’ve told you before she’s a friend of
mine” Violetta muttered with an eye roll.
Vince scoffed,
“Friend? when and where did you meet her?”
Vince asked, again.
Violetta frowned,
“Hey why are you interrogating me? must I tell
you everything?” Violetta retorted, annoyed.
“Of course you must tell me everything, that
woman doesn’t seem like a good person,
whenever she’s with you she
always pretend, her smile is fake, her talking is
fake, her smile is scary infact everything about
that woman is fake! ” Vince snapped, irritated.
“Oh gosh..! Vince honey don’t say such, Patricia
isn’t a bad person…besides you’ve never liked
her from the start ” Violetta mumbled.
Vince chuckled, coldly.
“Bad person you say? she’s close to you
because she’s after something! ” Vince retorted,
seriously.
Violetta frowned,
“Vince!!! how da–
Violetta almost flared up but bite her words
back in.
“This discussion is over, leave now” Violetta
mumbled, tiredly and sat down on her bed as
she rubbed her forehead, her eyes tightly shut…..
“Oh… Aigoo..my head hurt” Violetta murmured,
tiredly.
Vince strolled to where she sat and started
massaging her forehead and her shoulder,
He didn’t like to see his mom looking so tired
and sick.
“Don’t worry just forget about what I said, you
look so stressed out” Vince muttered, gently..
“Ah… I love it better when your father is giving
me a massage…” Violetta pouted.
Vince smiled and shook his head,
“Aigoo, why did you say such about Patricia…i
feel so scared” Violetta mumbled.
Vince got down from the bed,
“Am only saying what I saw” He muttered, lowly
and left the room.
“Ugh?! what he saw? what did he see? Aish am
going crazy ” Violetta mumbled, confused.
Vince got to the sitting room and met two girls
with decent dressings,
“Good evening sir!” They greeted at the same
time.
“Sir they’re the new employees from your
company, they’re here to give you feedback
about the
success of your company” Dan which is Vince’s
personal assistant uttered, politely.
Vince nodded and sat down on the couch, leg
crossed.
“Go on” He muttered, lazily….
……..
Soon, they were done with their report, they
stood up to go when the door flung open and
Charlotte staggered in, her cheeks were flushed..
..
Immediately she saw Vince, she composed
herself.
“Oh…good evening vince” She greeted, softly.
Vince didn’t even spare her a glance or acted as
though he heard anything,
“Thank you for coming please have a safe
journey ” Vince uttered.
The two girls laughed,
“Don’t worry sir we will, am so happy to have a
boss like you” One of them blurted out,
excitedly.
“Oh… Thank you ” Vince retorted with a warm
smile.
Charlotte who saw Vince smiled at the two
ladies but had never ever smiled at her felt
anger rose up inside of her,
Her eyes darkened, her jaws were clenched hard
and she gritted her teeth in anger.
The aura around her was so tense, deadly,
dangerous and murderous.
She glared daggers at the two ladies as they
bowed at Vince, As they were strolling out, one
of them glanced at her and smirked, they left.
Vince strolled upstairs without sparing Charlotte
a glance, Dan followed behind.
Charlotte clenched her fist, tight as all what she
felt was anger, anger and anger.
Those slutty Bîtches! such gut!
“No…no… It’s not possible, another lady must
not see my Vince smile when I have not, if I
can’t see his smile, if he can’t
love me then no one else will too” Charlotte spat
out venomously through clenched teeth.
“Yes..hahahaha! Vince is only mine” Charlotte
muttered as she roughed her hair and laughed
like a psychopath.

<SOMEWHERE AROUND THE VICINITY >……
A car speeded towards a particular direction, a
sound laughter of a girl was heard from the car,
“Oh my our boss is so cute and nice ” A girl
uttered as she conversed with her friend,
excitedly.
“At first I thought our boss would be a middle
aged man with big pot belly not knowing that
he’s just in his mid twenties ” The second girl
retorted, coolly.
“Kira did you see the black American girl that
walked in? do you think she’s his girlfriend or
housemaid? ” The first girl uttered, curiously.
“Nah I think she’s just a housemaid there, tch..
so ugly ” the girl known as Kira uttered with an
eye roll..
A loud sound was heard and the car came to a
halt,
“Sir is there any problem? ” The first girl asked
as she glared at the cab man, hopefully.
The cab man hissed as he got down from the
car,
“We’ve got a flat tire! ” He yelled as he checked
the car tire.
The two girls got down from the car, fearfully.
“Oh my God, what are we going to do now, we
can’t sleep out here in this dangerous road” Kira
uttered, panicky.
“Let’s call for help” The first girl known as Stella
said, fearfully.
Suddenly, Kira felt pressed
“Hold on let me urinate near the bush” She
muttered and scurried off.
She got near the bush and emptied her bladder,
she suddenly heard some weird sounds inside
the bush and fear gripped her,
“Anyone there?! ” She called out but heard
nothing.
She hissed and turned to go when she heard a
whimper inside the bush,
“H… help me… ” A soft whimper erupted from
the bush…
“Who’s there?! ” The second girl called but the
only thing she heard was just the
whimpering sound of a girl.
“P… Please… Help…me “
“Kira?! are you done?! geez why does it feel as
though you’re giving birth out there?! ” The first
girl known as Stella called out loud.
“Am coming…someone needs help here” Kira
muttered to herself as she went inside the bush
looking for the person.
She flinched when she saw a black cat in front
of her, staring directly at her.
“Oh God this seems like those horror movies,
hey cutie are you lost? ” She muttered,
nervously.
Suddenly, light footsteps was heard behind her
and a hand tapped her shoulder, the girl known
as Kira turned back and a hammer landed on
her head as blood gushed out.
“Ah! ” She shrieked in pain and fell on the floor.
The person hit her head with the hammer hard
until she gave up to ghost. The last thing she
saw
was a person wearing an all black and covered
his or her face with a black Veil. Blood
splattered everywhere………
