Chapter 76
(Revived)
Five Months Later
Palermo, Sicily✓
Allowing the water from the shower to spatter
on her smooth skin, Jade exhale, turning it off
as her hand slightly brush her prodded tummy.
A light gasp escape her lips, reacting to the
movement of the baby in her womb. She smiled
softly, pulling out a towel which she wrapped
around her body.
Her six month pregnancy is obvious to
everyone, and the fact that the baby kicks every
now and then shows how health it is.
“Phew, she breathed out, draining off the water
with another towel as she made her way into
the room. After properly creaming up, she
decided for what to wear, not having any choice
in mind.
This has been her daily routine. Bath, eat, sleep,
watch videos..and other minor things relating to
her bedroom, she ain’t allowed to go out except
she goes with some guards or Don himself.
Sometimes she finds it frustrating, looking like a
prisoner in a large mansion; no friends or
relation, just maids and guards around.
After settling down for a free gown, which hung
her belly perfectly, she decided to give her legs
some freedom, walking out of the room.
“Breakfast is ready ma’am, I…was about
coming to tell you” A maid who she
encountered on the way muttered. She scoffed.
“Hope it’s not some nauseous food…cos I ain’t
gonna take what happened yesterday.” She
snapped. The maid smiled
“I bet you will like this ma’am, and whereas, I
believe you were just reacting to your pregnancy
hormones yesterday” she noted humbly. Jade
rolled her eyes, walking out.
“Wh@tëver” she whispered, not knowing why
she is acting this way. She just don’t feel that
environment despite how classic it is. She feels
like she doesn’t belong here.
After managing to eat something from what
was prepared, she made up her mind to check
out other places in the so called mansion. She
had visited a few places the previous day,
considering how bored she was. Don hasn’t pay
her a visit for some days now, it’s not like she
cares but she wonders why a boyfriend
wouldn’t check on his pregnant woman, what’s
he up to.
Walking along the aisle that leads to an
unknown building, she strides carefully,
checking out each structures along the way.
Some designed sculpture and many more art
work were placed on the wall. The whole place
was as silent as a grave yard, no single fellow
was available. She had managed to avoid the
guards assigned to monitor her movement, she
hadn’t been to this locations before.
“Whats this building all about?” She thought,
staring at a gigantic structure in front of her,
few miles away from the main mansion. “Let’s
just check it out ”

Within the building, a thousand men could be
seen doing one thing or the other, carrying out
different duties. Some were in the IT sector,
each having a complete computer set in front of
them, observing their trainings as they learn
from their coach. Others were having different
training course; that of guns, swords, fist fight
and many more.
Jade made her way in, trying to understand the
scenario, she stood at the top floor, observing
the sight below. “Who are these people?” She
whispered to herself, enjoying each
performance. She placed her attention more on
those engage in a fist training, checking out
their techniques, wanting to be in the crew. “I
wish I could join them” she noted
“Like what you see?” A voice asked from
behind, walking up to her. She froze at first,
citing Don, who had a weird smirk on his face.
She decided to loosen up, smiling instead.
“Yes….you didn’t tell me we have a training
ground in this mansion.” She noted. He
shrugged, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. “I
wanted you to give birth first, before bringing
you in here, but I think your curiosity to check
out things has brought you here… against my
wish” he added.
She pressed her lips. “I’m sorry, I was just
bored…I had to take a walk”
“It’s ok…though I was worried”
She arched her brows. “Why?” “Cos the maid in
charge of you told me you were missing…even
the guards were looking for you back at the
mansion, I wonder how you manage to get pass
them without them noticing” he cooed. She
smiled
“I also don’t know how I did it, I feel like it’s
something easy for me to do. I’m sorry I cost
them this trouble” she sincerely apologize. “It’s
ok, I saw you came in through the surveillance
cameras, so I have sent a message already”
She nodded.
“So…about this…you ain’t gonna tell me about
it”
“Oh…this is one of our training sector, here in
Sicily. As a clan, we train upcoming ones in
different sector, very soon, we will form a great
army, that even our rivals won’t be able to
compete with us” he explained. She smiled
“I love this”
“Sure you would. My father has lots of training
grounds in different part of the country, onces
they are done with their trainings here, they will
be moved to the United States, where the main
clan is located.
“So…will I get to join..” she asked, with excited
face. He smiled “You were once part of us,
before the baby decided to come…don’t worry
sweetie, the clan all yours…you are free to
compete with any of them, so that we can taste
your strength”
“I have the feeling that I can handle swords” “I
hope so” Don replied. They both kept mute,
watching the scenes below.

Wolves’ Clan
A number of three cars, a van and one bike
zoomed into the clan, as each occupant alight
with a smiling face. It took the wolves two
months to get back on the field, accepting
offers from clients to go on missions.
This will be the third mission ever since the past
five months, of which have always come out
successful. Kyla had taken her time to make
plans that wouldn’t take the lives of her
members in any mission they endeavor to
partake in.
“Phew…we did it” Autumn proclaimed, exiting
the vehicle alongside the others.
“We ain’t called the Wolves for nothing…you
gotta see the look on the bad guys faces”
Jayden chipped in, as the others bust into
laughter. They all made their way to the power
room to be addressed by Kyla. The SE members
are now back on their feet, having more
members to the crew.
Evans & Raphael are now full members of the
clan, alongside two other trainees who were
promoted to the SE alongside the others. Renata
and Camila; two Mexican females, who replaces
Mica and Jade’s position.
“”I can’t wait to have a change of clothes”
Raphael noted, Evans smirked. “Yea, cos you
stink” he mocked, dodging a playful smack
from Raphael. Kyla walked in afterward, looking
smart in her wears.
“The mission went successful, just as planned.
Thanks to God, and everyone of us..thanks for
your cooperation, I’m impressed, especially with
the new team that joined us..you all did well
with this missions, unlike the first two we went
on earlier. This is a good start, try to put more
effort in mastering your skills, and I trust we will
be better than our rivals” she noted with a soft
smile
Evans winked at her, though, the others were
oblivious of it. She almost blush but kept in
cool.
“Cheers to a new beginning…” Bruce muttered,
raising his hand up as a symbol of unity.
“Cheers” the other replied, either grinning or
chuckling.

Kyla’s POV
Slumping on the couch in my room, I pulled my
leg upward to take off the boots I had on, same
goes to the other leg. I feel so tired and worn
out, after the whole planning, strategizing and
at last, going on this mission. I wish I could
triple the pay my client is to pay; too bad I had
received money…the stress is worth more than
it, but still, it’s ok.
My eyes wandered to the top of my shelf where
I kept Jade’s picture. I gulp in staring back at it.
Her face held a smile in the picture, but I seem
to be seeing the smile wane, replaced by a
frown. I wonder what I had done wrong to make
her neglect the clan, and not just that, but left
for the enemy’s den. How did Don manage to
convince her…no, I think there is a foul play
somewhere.
Perhaps I have been drown in my sorrow for too
long not noticing it. According to the source I
get infos from, it’s stated that Don flew her out
of the country, but didn’t say more than that.
How I wish I could track this anonymous sender
that messages me about Jade’s well-being . All I
need is for her to deliver the baby safely, then
strike.
The door opened, jolting me off my thought.
Evans stepped in, holding a bottle of wine and
two glasses.
“Hey..” he called, walking closer to peck my
cheek. ” Hey” I replied in a sad tone; he noticed,
going further to drop the drink on a stool.
“Babe…what’s wrong? You don’t seem
delighted” he asked, squatting before me. I
exhale, looking towards the picture’s direction,
he traced it, looking behind him. Getting on his
feet, he walked to the shelf, picking up the
picture as he turned it to face backward.
“Why did you do that” I asked almost pissed.
He returned to seat beside me
“If this is what makes you sad anytime you see
it, then it’s better you don’t see it anymore. Kyla
it’s been five months, you need to get back on
your feet” he snapped. I sighed
“I miss her so much”
“I know….I miss her too..she was my best
friend…but, I still don’t know why she decides
to leave the clan” he noted.
“Don might have done something, I think he is
trying to use her against us…perhaps he wiped
off her memory..” I voiced out, remembering the
last scene when we saw at the Blood Clan. She
looked nervous and at the same time confused.
“He wouldn’t be able to get us, and even if he
does that, he won’t succeed. And as for Jade,
perhaps she indeed lost her memory” he
whispered the last part, trying to remember
something
I gazed at him with a inquisitive face. “The
night she fell, she bled from her head…could
that have caused the….” I cuts in before he
completes his statement.
“Memory loss, perhaps she had a broken skull
or something leading to amnesia. We can’t say
for sure…” I added. He pulled me into a tight
hug. “If she is truly innocent, then I’m sure that
fate will bring her back to us. Don’t lose hope”
he assured, pecking my forehead.
He loosen his grip, getting up to pick the drink.
He poured out a glass for me, handling it over.
“Let’s bother about the present…so, a victory to
the last mission, cheers” he lifted up his glass
into his lips, while I did same, smiling briefly.
“You still haven’t liven up, should I do
something about that” he squinted, licking his
lips. I frown
“Like what” He smirked, closing up the space,
as he bent to my face level. “”I’m gonna pinch
your teats” he winked, making me blush.
“Such a pervert…I ain’t gonna let you do that” I
resorted.
His face fell. “It’s been a while I touch you Kyla,
you are making me feel like you are purposely
keeping your body to yourself” he muttered,
sadly.
Silence took in for a while before I reply. “I’m
having the hunch to bring back Luna’s
law…perhaps that will help keep the clan
together..love is causing havocs.”
Evans scoffed
“Then I will as well ki*ll myself” he noted. I
squinted. “Why”
“Cos you are my addiction, how do you want
me to cope knowing that I love you but can’t
date you. You are indirectly asking for a
breakup right?” He flared
“Evans…” He cuts in.
“Look dear, the members can’t keep the law
while you go against it…that’s gonna be unfair
and you won’t gain their trust anymore. Leave
Luna’s law to her reign, this time it’s Kyla. You
are different from her, you should make your
own law. Love is a beautiful thing, it wouldn’t
affect anything; especially when one doesn’t
make it take the better part of oneself.”
“How sure are you that no one ever dated
during Luna’s reign, they would have done it in
secret..and even if you bring back that law, they
will do the same…secret ” he noted. I gulp in,
not saying a word. He paced round for a while,
with his hands tucked into his pocket. He let out
a scoff.
“As a matter of fact, if you do break up with me,
and I get super horny, I won’t mind coming in
here to drill your hole” he seethed, making me
laugh out. “You’re are joking right?”
He rolled his eyes, as his shoulder drops. “I
ain’t…you know that”
“Oh gawd..Evans…that’s R@PE” I stiffen my
laughter. “Call it wh@tëver…I’m addicted to you,
you’re just finding a way to ki*ll me by turning
me out…please babe, don’t do this” he pleaded,
coming closer to sit beside me again. He had
this pleading eyes on.
“I was only pulling your legs…whereas, I have
thought of it..I can’t bring back any of Luna’s
law. I have this feeling that we weren’t able to
tame it well, that was what led to the downfall
of the clan earlier, but one fall wouldn’t make us
lie their forever. We are back on our feet. I can’t
think of letting you go, I love you so much
Evans”
“d@mn…I love you too” he whispered, capturing
my lips in his. My heart melted; my body ignite
its want. It’s been months since we made
love…I can’t wait to get this started. Like he
said, aside missions and works, one just need to
relax and be happy…it reduces stress.

Three Months Later
The sound of a crying baby filled the ward, as
the nurses in charge of the delivery help attend
to the baby and her mother.
Sitting outside the ward is Don, typing into his
phone as he awaits the doctors report. “Sir” a
voice noted. He looked up to see the doctor
smiling at him. “She delivered a girl” he noted.
“Füçk” Don noted. He wanted it to be a male,
but still, he have known many females to be
stronger than males, and whereas, both the
mother and child will be of great use to the clan.
“That’s good…” He noted. “Can I see her”
“Yes… please”

Amazon stood behind the door as she
eavesdrop on the conversation Don is having
with one of his men in his office.
“She just delivered a baby girl. She will still be
here until the child is three months.. then we’ll
move her back to the clan, while her baby
remains here. I think it’s high time we visit the
wolves, they have been kept jobless for too
long” he noted. She listened further, getting
more information. Bringing out her phone, she
logged on the message app, typing into it. The
message was yet to read sent when a voice
sounded from behind her.
“What are you doing?” Mercury asked. With
fright, she dropped the phone, crashing it to the
floor as she faced the former, who sent dagger
glares to her.
