♣A WEEK LATER♣
It’s been a week since Dr. Mark promised to get
a special school for Janet. He has been ding
just that, and luckily he found a school fit for
her. Ultra Minds Academy.
She came downstairs into the living room,
dressed in the school’s uniform. She was
looking smart and natural, no one could ever
suspect that she was an android.
Dr. Mark came to meet her with her school bag,
wearing it for her.
” Promise me that you’ll be safe at school. You
won’t get into trouble, and you won’t bring back
any problems.” He said and wore the bag for
her. She held it by the straps.
” I promise, Dad. I’ll be extra careful at school
today.” She promised, and they hugged.
Beatrice came down from the stairs too, dressed
in a different school’s uniform. She frowned
when she saw the hugging and walked past
them, going to the door.
” Beatrice, Wait! You’ll be walking with your
sister to school today!” He said when he broke
the hug, and Beatrice groaned, turning back to
them by the door.
” I don’t want to! I’m going to my school, and
she’s going to her own! We have nothing to do
with each other!” She spoke annoyingly and
scoffed.
” Don’t talk like that. Janet is your sister , and
you’re both supposed to be by each other, to be
there for each other. You will follow her to her
school.” He said, stepping forward to her.
” I won’t follow her to school! You always want
me to care for her, when she isn’t even my
sister! She’s an android, not a toddler I have to
follow around!” She spat back, and he froze on
his tracks.
She panted afterwards, glaring angrily at him.
Her eyes darted to Janet, who said nothing
since.
” You see what you’re making me do, right? You
shameless robot. You’re making me say things
that I don’t wanna say, I h@të you.” She said.
” Don’t talk to your sister that way.” Dr. Mark
defended her, stepping in front of Beatrice.
She walked away from him and went to stand in
front of Janet.
” You’re not my sister. You’re just a robot that
wants to steal my father’s love from me, and I
won’t let that happen. I pray that SpiderWall
finds you on time, so you can Cary your stupid
self out of here. Don’t ever see me as your sister,
because we’re mortal enemies. You made my
father care more about you than me, and he
even shouts at me, all because of you!” She
shouted emotionally, already at the brink of
tears.
Dr. Mark approached her from behind and held
her shoulders.
” Beatrice Pearl Coleman. You have no right to
speak to Janet that way. She’s a part of this
family, and she deserves respect as much as
you respect me. Got that?” He said sternly, but
tears rolled down her eyes. She started crying.
” Füçk you! I don’t even respect you anymore,
Füçk you both! I h@të you both so much, get
outta my life!” She spat with rage, storming out
of the house.
She slammed the door hard on their faces
loudly, disappearing from their midst. Dr. Mark
faced Janet, who didn’t look disturbed by the
whole event that just took place.
” Is she… Angry at me? Angry people shout and
sometimes cry when they can’t control their
anger. She even said things that she has never
said to me before.” Janet spoke concerningly,
and Dr. Mark held her shoulders.
” Ignore her. She’ll come around soon, back to
her senses. Just focus on your school, and be a
great student there.” He said, and she nodded.
They exited the house together, and went
towards his green car. When Janet opened the
backseat door, Beatrice was there, folding her
arms grumpily and staring forward.
” Don’t you dare sit beside me.” She told without
looking at Janet, and Janet shut the door on
her.
” Janet, come sit in the front!” Dr. Mark said
from the driver’s seat and Janet went there,
sitting beside him.
He started the engine and began driving off.
♣ULTRA MINDS ACADEMY♣
The school was buzzing excitedly with gists
and murmurs as students entered the school,
looking smart in matching uniforms.
The air was normal and calm as everyone
minded their various businesses, until a girl
came running into the hallway screaming.
” They’re here! They’re here! Platinum boys are
here!” She screamed at the top of her lungs.
Everyone screamed with her too and they ran
out of the school at once.
Truly, an expensive limo was outside, sparkling
with diamonds on its body. ‘Platinum boys’ was
boldly written on the car in diamonds too.
The door to the car opened, and three hot guys
stepped out. Rocky, Flash, and Mario, all looking
dreamy and handsome in amazing outfits.
Melody stepped out of the car too in a luxurious
outfit as well, standing beside Rocky with
sunglasses on.
” Aaaaaarrrrgghh! I love them!”
” Marry me Flash! I love your hair!”
” I love your outfit Mario, you look so cute!”
” So hot! They’re all on fire!”
” My dream boys!”
The girls gushed over them as they all remained
standing by the limo. Mario was smiling and
waving, Flash was looking cold with hands in
pockets while Rocky and Melody held hands.
” Same pattern of screams, every single day.”
Rocky said.
” Let’s hope that something changes today.”
Melody replied and yawned, then they walked
into the school together.
” So happy to be in school once more, right?”
Mario spoke cheerfully, and Flash faced him.
” You’re only happy to be in school because of
the girls you flirt with.” He said and walked into
the school. Mario rolled eyes funnily and
followed him.
” I heard something exciting today. A new
student will be joining us.” Mario said.
” I don’t really care, and new students join us
almost everyday. What’s so exciting about this
one?” Flash asked.
” She’s a girl. She took tests for all the talents in
the school, and she passed everything. Isn’t it
amazing!” Mario said gladly, and Flash stopped
walking.
” It’s not amazing, it’s crazy. How can an
ordinary girl pass all the talents tests? It’s a
joke, and you know I don’t like jokes.” He rolled
eyes and resumed walking with Mario.
” I’m not kidding. You’ll see for yourself anyway,
let’s wait and see.” Mario uttered, and they went
further into the school.
They had already gone into the school Janet
arrived in Dr. Mark’s car. She stepped out of the
car, looking at the school interestedly.
” Janet.” Dr. Mark called from the car, attracting
her attention as she turned back to him.
” I just wanna tell you one last thing before I
leave. Promise me that you’ll never speak
anything about your android status to anybody.
Also promise me that you won’t get into fights
wuth anyone, please.” He pleaded.
” I promise you, Dad. I won’t violate any of your
orders.” She replied, and he smiled.
” I love you Janet. Take of yourself, I’ll be
keeping an eye on you.” He said, and drove off
in the car.
Janet walked into the school afterwards. As she
stepped in, she began to look at everything
around her with interest, studying everything
carefully.
It was her first time being in a school with other
people, so she was curious to know a lot of
things.
She walked further into the school, looking at
the students interestedly. They all kept on
minding their businesses like she was invisible.
She was still walking in when she bumped into
someone. She remained standing but the other
student went down. She rubbed her head with
slight pain on the ground.
” I’m so sorry.” Janet spoke and stretched out an
arm to the student. She looked up while holding
her head and looked at Janet’s hand. She held
it, then Janet helped her up.
The girl looked at Janet astonishingly from
head to toe. Janet studied her behaviour closely
too. She had blue streaked hair and looked
pretty, but not as much as Janet.
” I’m sorry for bumping into you. Are you okay?”
Janet asked, and the girl looked into her eyes.
They were so blue and radiant.
” Yeah, I’m fine.” She replied, and Janet made to
go away when the girl pulled her back, and she
stopped.
” Uhmm… I’ve got one question though. Are you
a new student here? I haven’t seen this face
before.” The girl said.
” Yes, I am a new student here. My name is
Janet Coleman, nice to meet you.” Janet said,
and the girl smiled.
” My name is Cleopatra Santiago, but just call
me Cleo.” She replied.
” But… What is your course? You have a talent
you came to focus on, right?” Cleo asked.
” Talent? What kinds of talent?”” She inquired.
” You can’t be in this school if you didn’t come
without a talent. I have talent I’m singing, so I’m
in the music department. What talents do you
have?” She asked.
” I have all talents possible. I took all talent tests
that this school has to offer, and I passed it all.”
She said, and Cleo’s mouth went wide in
surprise.
” No way!” She gasped out, and they both began
to walk into the school together.
” You must be a superhuman to have passed all
tests. I mean, it’s just so impossible!” Cleo said.
” It’s not impossible, since I passed the tests in
reality. I don’t know what talent to choose for
study.” Janet said.
” Wow. You are so lucky. I wish I was as
talented as you. I mean, the only person that’s
closely talented as you are is Rocky, the head of
Platinum Boys.” Cleo muttered.
” What is ‘Platinum Boys’?” Janet asked
curiously.
” They are the top hottest and richest group of
boys in this school, and they don’t get to wear
uniforms like ours, they always wear the trendy
and most expensive outfits ever. Rocky is the
leader, Flash is the second member and lastly,
Mario.” She said, smiling dreamily afterwards.
Janet looked at her while Cleo stared into space,
smiling sheepishly. She later turned back to
Janet while they continued walking.
” I could tell you about Mario, but there’s just nit
enough time in the world for that. So tell me,
what department will you be choosing?” Cleo
asked.
Janet was about to respond when she bumped
into someone, and the person fell immediately.
They both stopped walking as the person stood
back up, and Cleo gasped.
It was Melody, and her sunglasses were gone
from her face. They fell to the ground when she
fell down, and she glared angrily at Janet.
” How dare you bump into me, you twit!” Melody
spat arrogantly and grabbed her by uniform by
the neck. Janet stared back with no reactions.
” Hey, leave her alone!” Cleo tried to defend her,
and Melody glared at her.
” If you know what’s good for you, step out of
this.” Melody warned and faced Janet, still
grabbing her uniform tightly.
” You think you can just bump into me and I’ll let
you go freely? You must be joking. You think
you can fight me right? Come on, let’s fight. I’ll
end you seriously.” She said and left Janet’s
uniform, putting her fists in front of her face.
Students already gathered around and began
filming the moment with their phones. That was
when Rocky also appeared at the scene, right
behind Melody.
” What’s going on here?” He asked, and she
turned to him.
” This girl here is what’s going on. She pushed
me down and didn’t even apologise to me. I
want you to expel her immediately.” Melody
demanded.
Rocky looked at Janet, who was looking
beautifully blank. He seemed to grow hatred for
her and smirked.
” You’re expelled from this school. Leave here
now, I don’t want to see you here again.” He said
without a second thought, and Melody smiled,
turning to Janet.
” You’re not the school’s wonder, so you have no
right to expel me from this school.” Janet
retorted expressionlessly.
” I am the school owner’s son, so you’re still as
good as expelled. Will you exit this school
immediately?” He said again, and Cleo grabbed
Janet’s hand.
Cleo pulled her away from the scene and began
to run off with her. They didn’t stop till they were
far away from them all, and Cleo turned to
Janet.
” Why would you do that?” Janet asked.
” Because that was the leader of Platinum Boys
I was talking about, Rocky.” Cleo replied.
” But what does it have to do with you pulling
me away?” Janet asked again.
” Because, he has a bad temper. The girl you
bumped into is Melody, his girlfriend. Anything
that she wants, he does it without a second
thought. I only pulled you out of problems.” She
said, sighing afterwards.
” Why would he try to expel me when I did
nothing wrong? It’s only my first day here, and I
haven’t violated any rules so far.” Janet said.
” Just forget about him, and Let’s both go to our
departments. What talent do you wanna study?”
Cleo asked her, and Janet looked away in
thoughts.
She was good at possibly ever talent, so it was
impossible for her to choose. She was still
thinking when Cleo snapped her fingers in front
of her face, bringing her back.
” Which talent are you picking?” She asked
curiously.
” I don’t know which talent to choose, Cleopatra.
I’m good at almost all of them that I can’t make
a choice.” Janet said.
” Don’t worry. You’re good in all talents, so
you’re good in music too. Join my music
department with me, it’ll be a perfect choice.”
She suggested, smiling large.
” Okay then. I’ll join the music department.”
Janet agreed, and Cleo squealed lightly.
Janet simply watched her with no expression.
They both later left for the music department.
Melody later went to meet Violet after Cleo left
with Janet. Violet was her bestie, her fellow
partner in crime.
” Hey Melly! How are things going?” Violet asked
cheerfully.
” I’ve told you not to call me Melly, the name
sucks. And things are not going great.” She said
seriously, and Violet frowned.
” Then what’s the issue?” She asked.
” Could you believe that a new girl pushed me a
few minutes ago? She was so proud not to even
cower before me, but thankfully Rocky arrived at
the scene. I asked him to expel her immediately,
and he did.” Melody narrated, and Violet raise
her eyebrows.
” So? What’s the problem in that?” She asked.
” After Rocky expelled her, she said that he had
not ight to do do. She later ran off with another
girl, I think her name’s Cleo.” She said, and
Violet’s eyes widened.
” What? No way! She’s still in the school right
now?” Violet spoke surprisingly.
” Yes! In fact, I won’t rest until I get her out of
this school. She thinks that she can do wh@tëver
she wants and go scot-free with it, so I’m gonna
teach her a lesson.” She muttered and smirked.
” What do you have in mind?”
” We’re gonna prank her. We’re gonna prank her
so hard, she’d be so ashamed to set foot into
this school the next day, and she’ll run out of
the school crying.” She said.
🥺🥺Sorry guys. This was the little I could
type, and my mind isn’t really clear today, I
couldn’t think clearly at all. I’m sorry if the
chapter looks a bit awkward or strange, but
please accept it. I can’t write more than this for
