{ STEALING KISSES }
Aubrey sighed for the umpteenth time. She
couldn’t get the scene earlier out of her mind.
“Are you okay?” Daniel asked and she sighed.
“Daniel…” She called and Daniel took his eyes
off the road for a second to look at her then
back to the road.
“Yes.”
“I… I don’t think I want to go on the date
anymore.” She said and Daniel looked at her.
“What do you mean?” He asked and she bit her
lower lips.
“I… I don’t think I’m doing the right thing. I… I
love someone else. I thought getting myself
loose with someone else would help get rid of
the feelings but it’s not happening. I’m sorry, but
I can’t do this.” She said, whilst playing with her
finger nervously.
Daniel gave a short devilish laugh.
“You don’t seem to know where you are.” He
grinned wickedly and Aubrey felt a wave of fear
rushed in her body.
“Wh… What do you mean?” She stuttered.
Immediately, Daniel marched the break and
increased his speed.
“Daniel! You’ll get us killed! Daniel!” She yelled
as she searched for her phone in her bag.
Then she wished she had just listen to Pierce.
She suddenly got a hold of her phone and
immediately she picked it up to dial Pierce’s
number, her eyes widened at what she saw.
A big truck was coming towards their way!
“Noo!!! Daniel!! Noo!!” She screamed, closing her
eyes in fear till she heard a crash.
She blinked her eyes after few seconds when
she didn’t feel the movement of the car again…
Her lips trembled at her cruel fate.
Slowly, her eyes opened and she saw their car
had crashed unto a pole. He evaded the truck.
She turned to look at Daniel who was looking at
her with that look which she could tell… Lustful
looks and she shook her head.
He locked the car doors and undid his seatbelt.
He began leaning closer and Aubrey kept
shifting backward. If only she could vanished
through the door, she would have done that.
“Daniel stop this. Please!” She begged in tears
but he only smirked.
Seems like her tears were only fuelling up his
desire.
“You know you’re beautiful right?” He said,
caressing her cheeks and Aubrey closed her
eyes in disgust.
He slowly trailed his hand down her face to her
lips and he brushed her thin lips which had
lipstick on it.
He leaned further again to kiss her lips and
Aubrey felt disgusted that she wished to just die
than have this bàstard steal her first kiss…
As if knowing her mind, her phone chose that
moment to ring and she looked down at it, she
made to pick it but Daniel yanked the phone
from her and threw it to the backseat then he
crashed his lips on her, kissing her roughly.
Aubrey tried pushing him off as she struggled to
break from the kiss but she was just a weak
lady.
An idea suddenly popped in her head and she
bit his lips and slammed her head heavily on his
that she felt dizzy for a second but knowing the
kinda trouble she was in, she snapped out of it.
“Oww…” While Daniel was still groaning in
pains, she grabbed her phone from the back
seat and unlocked the door then she ran out.
“You bítch! Come back here! Oww!” Daniel held
his head in pains as he got down from the car
as well.
“Pierce where are you? Please save me! Please!”
She said as she dialled his number.
She turned back to see Daniel chasing her and
she increased her speed but she was an
incredible terrible runner.
“Stop right there bítch!” Daniel yelled.
“Please pick up Pierce! Please!” She cried.
“Hello…”
“Pierce please save me!” Aubrey immediately
shouted as he picked up.
“What?”
“Please Pierce save– ah!” Daniel grabbed her
arm and turned her to him, then he slapped her.
Aubrey winced, staggering.
“Aubrey! Where are you?!” Pierce yelled over the
phone.
“You stupid bítch!” He growled and yanked the
phone from her. He smashed the phone on the
floor and Aubrey flinched.
She bit her lips, walking backwards.
“No… No please…” Daniel walked towards her.
“You bítch! Once I want something, I get it. I
want you and I must have you… Today!” Daniel
stated and Aubrey shook her head and began
running again, faster than the last time.
They had ended up in an alley and no one was
in sight.
Daniel chased after her and she kept praying
inwardly for a help… anywhere… So long she
couldn’t get away from him.
She was still running when she bumped into
someone and the person hugged her.
“Are you okay?” The person asked and she
immediately recognised the voice.
“Pierce…” She muttered breaking from the hug
to see his face.
“Yes, it’s me.” He said, caressing her cheeks and
she burst into real tears. Pierce hugged her
again.
“Hey you wench! I see you called him.” Daniel
asked, he was just few inches away from them.
Aubrey immediately hid behind Pierce.
Daniel chuckled.
“What did you say again? He’s your brother? But
I don’t see that… ” He said and Pierce glared at
him.
“Rascal.” He gritted, slowly releasing Aubrey’s
hand which was wrapped around his waist.
“Stay right here.” He said and began walking
towards Daniel.
“Do you know what I h@të most?” Pierce asked,
rolling up the sleeves of his jacket.
Daniel smirked.
“You love her. Interesting.” Daniel chuckled and
Pierce smiled.
“Yeah that’s right. But someone messing with
my thing whether knowledgeable or not, that’s
what I h@të.” With that, Pierce sent Daniel a
flying punch and a hot fight begun.

<MACDONALD’S MANSION>
Snowy walked out of the bathroom with a towel
in her hand which she was using to dab her wet
hair dry.
She was already cladded in her pajamas. She
stopped in front of the mirror and dropped the
towel on the stool. She plugged in her blow-
dryer and began drying her hair.
She stopped when she saw the hair band on the
dresser and she sighed before picking it up.
It was on her 7th birthday her mom gifted her
that. That was their last birthday gift she got
from her.
She dropped the dryer on the table and began
caressing the hair band.
“I missed you mom… Dad. You daughter is all
grown up now and is in love.” She said with a
blush.
“I wish you both were here. But then, it’s alright.
I’m fine with my new family.” She said and
smiled.
She suddenly remember Starr’s confession.
“I like you? Seriously?” She scoffed.
She dropped the hairband and walked to her
bed then she collapsed on it..
She tossed on it and finally settled on staring at
the ceiling.
She picked up her phone to chat with her ai.
*Hey, what does it mean if a guy tells you he
likes you?* She asked.
*It can be a great confession. If a guy tells you
he likes you, he holds strong feeling of affection
towards you. So what’s up? Did a guy tell you he
likes you?* It replied and she scoffed.
“Such a nosy ai. Isn’t love supposed to be
greater? Ugh!” She whined, tossing on the bed.

<NEXT DAY ≈ CLARKE’S MANSION>
Pierce walked into Aubrey’s room with a tray
containing her breakfast. She was still on the
bed when he got in.
He dropped the food on the bedstand beside her
and stared at her face. He brushed the strand of
hair on her face behind her ear and she
snuggled in her sleep.
He went ahead to open the curtains and Aubrey
whined in her sleep.
He went to her and waved his hand on her face.
“Wakey, wakey.” He said and Aubrey grumbled.
She slowly opened her eyes and her gaze met
with that of Pierce. She blinked and immediately
sat up.
“Huh?”
“Here… Your breakfast.” He said, shifting the
tray towards her. It was a pancake and tea.
Aubrey nodded and began eating it while Pierce
stared at her.
She blinked uncomfortable with the stares then
she looked at him.
“Don’t you have work to do?” She asked and
Pierce shook his head.
“No. The only work I have is to be beside you.”
He said and Aubrey blinked.
“Don’t you remember anything?” Pierce asked
and she choked on her tea.
“Bit by bit.” Pierce said and she nodded.
“I see you remember.” He said.
“Aren’t you gonna scold me?” Aubrey asked and
Pierce shook his head.
“It was a lesson you had to learn and I’m pretty
sure you learnt it very well.” He said and she
scoffed.
Pierce chuckled.
“What did you do to him?” Aubrey asked after a
short silence. She couldn’t remember everything
that happened coz she passed out while they
were fighting.
“Nothing. I left the rest for the cops to handle.”
He said and Aubrey nodded.
“Get ready. We’re going out.” He said, standing
up.
“Where?” Aubrey asked.
“You’ll find out soon. Till then.” He said, and left.
Aubrey scoffed. “Such a punk.” She said and
smiled.
“Cute punk.” She mumbled and giggled.

<NICO’S PLACE>
Nico walked into the kitchen to get himself
breakfast. Looking at him, he looks like
someone suffering from heartbreak. His hair
looks ruffled as if it haven’t had a proper care
for days.
He groaned when he found nothing to eat. He
would have to prepare something for himself.
“Mom!” He whined, ruffling his hair.
The doorbell suddenly chimed and he left the
kitchen to get it without checking the camera.
He opened the door and he frowned seeing
Rayne at his doorstep. He made to shut the door
at her face but Rayne put her foot in the way,
then she pushed the door and got in, walking
past him.
“What are you doing here?” He asked, shutting
the door.
“To see my boyfriend of course. Ugh! Where’s
mom?” Rayne asked as she eye searched the
house.
“None of your business. Get out.” Nico said and
walked past her, going into the kitchen.
“Nico!” She ran and stood at his front.
“I’m sorry Nico. Please forgive me and stop with
the silent treatment. I promise to tell everyone
you’re my boyfriend please.” She begged but
Nico scoffed.
“Please Nico. I’m sorry.” She apologized.
“Tell everyone first.” He said and she nodded.
She immediately brought out her phone and
typed in their class group chat.
*EVERYONE! I’M DATING NICO!*
She showed him afterwards.
Nico scoffed. “You think they’ll believe you?” He
walked past her.
“I’ll make them believe me. Just forgive and let’s
go back to how we used to be. Please.” She
begged but he didn’t reply.
“Nico please.” She held his hand and Nico
sighed looking at her.
“Please.” She pouted making a puppy face.
Nico exhaled. If he said he didn’t miss her, then
he’ll be the world’s best liar but he had to do
something. He couldn’t put up with her harsh
behaviour.
“Please Nico…”
“I already forgave you long ago. Now let me
prepare something.” He said.
“Really! You’re not lying?” Rayne asked.
“I can’t be more serious. I was mad at you at
first but it died within seconds but I wanted you
to tell everyone about us so I had to pretend to
be mad.” He said and Rayne grinned.
She stood on her toes and placed a kiss on his
lips.
“I love you Nico.” She said and Nico smiled.
“I love you more, sharp tongue brat.” He said
and she gasped.
“What! Sharp tongue what–” Nico immediately
claimed her lips before she turned into a
tornado.

<HOSPITAL>
The door opened and a doctor walked in.
“Hey Starr. You’re here.” The man said, taking
off his coat.
“Yeah.” Starr replied and the doctor sat down.
“How can I help you?” He asked and Starr
showed him the tablet pack he picked right in
front of the room his father was kept.
“What’s this?” He asked the doctor who took the
pack and look at it.
“Oh my gawd, where did you get this?” The
doctor asked.
“Is that important?” Starr inquired.
“This is an anesthetic. It is used to render
someone unconscious but it is only used by
medical practitioner, why do you have it?” He
asked.
“My dad. It seems the doctor taking him has
been giving him this.” He said and the doctor
gasped.
“Really? This has a terrible side effects such as
memory loss, mental disorder, coma… It can
even lead to dead. Why would a doctor be using
this when he is supposed to regain
consciousness to a patient?” He asked and Starr
looked at him.
Everything registered to him.
“Doc, can you do me a favour?” He requested.
“Ask right away.” The doctor said and he looked
at him.

<AMUSEMENT PARK>
“Wow… You brought me here! OMG!” Snowy
squealed and Starr smiled beside her.
“You like it?” He asked and she nodded.
“I love it.” She said and Starr smiled.
They spotted a cotton candy shop and Snowy
smiled.
“Let’s go buy that first.” She said and pulled him
towards it.
“Hey, I’m the one who said I wanted pink not
you! Give me that!” Aubrey yelled and tried to
grab the cotton from Pierce but he raised his
hand.
“If you can get it, I won’t drag it with you.” He
smirked and she glared at him.
She began jumping but she couldn’t get it.
“Aubrey! Pierce!” Snowy called surprisedly as
she saw them, they were just beside the shop.
“Snowy?” Aubrey called.
“What are you doing here?” Aubrey asked.
“Isn’t it obvious? They’re here on a date.” Pierce
replied with an eye roll.
Snowy grinned.
“What about you guys?” Snowy asked.
“We? We’re here…”
“We’re here on a date as well. Or can’t we?”
Pierce smirked and Aubrey gasped.
Snowy chuckled.
“That’s a shocker actually.” Starr mumbled and
Pierce scoffed looking at him.
“Talking about shocker, I still just can’t picture
you in love. Like how’s it possible?” Pierce said
and Starr smirked.
“Hit your head on the wall if you can’t take it.”
Starr said and walked to the shop.
“Wow! That was a savage reply.” Aubrey said
and Pierce scoffed.
Starr and Snowy returned with one cotton and
Aubrey and Pierce stared at them.
“Why one? Doesn’t Pierce likes cotton?” Aubrey
asked.
“Well, as a couple. Why should we buy two?”
Snowy asked and took a bite from the cotton.
She stood on her toes and made Starr eat the
cotton on her lips and Pierce and Aubrey
gasped.
They looked at the two cotton they were holding
and Pierce immediately handed his own to a kid
who was walking pass.
He grabbed Aubrey’s own and took a bite from it
then, he nudged at Aubrey to eat from his lips
and when she did, he used the opportunity to
steal a kiss from her.
