“Daddy..” Rose gushed happily and Emerald’s eyes widened to the size of a watermelon.

He stared at the little girl for a while and his gaze finally found it’s way to Lyric’s direction. She wasn’t smiling at all.

“Is this..?” Emerald muttered and Lyric looked away with an eye roll. She grabbed Rose’s hand and separated her from Emerald.

“She seized from being your daughter the very day you decided you could Füçk someone else. I’ll never forgive you for that.. not in this life or the next. Don’t look for us,, we don’t need you. We’ve been okay for seven years..” Lyric spat ferociously and left.

Emerald stared at their retreating figure till they were finally out of sight. He dug his hands into his hair and groaned.

⟨LATER••CASSIDY HALL⟩

Cheers and screams filled the room, as Xscape stepped up on stage,, looking so radiant and hót. With the help of Kingsley’s mom,, they’re now signed artists.

They’ve sang a lot of songs this past few years,, and their fans have tripled.

A warm,,, calming feeling enveloped their body as you, and the hundreds if not thousands of people surrounding them whilst they were ready sing along with one of their favorite artists to their biggest hit.

Being there in a moment like that felt dream-like.

The most striking trend was the peaks before the song.

It turns out that clapping,, and cheering was the most arousing part of the concert,, likely because everyone’s response was amplified by the responses of the people around them.

In comparison,, listening to Xscape’s voice was comparatively relaxing,, and the GSR levels declined through every words they spoke.

The group effect reinforced the positive audience response,, and wss one of the many benefits of the small,, intimate live concerts performed.

From their white pants,, white shoes and white Carrie.

Everything looked perfect,, their skin was glowing brightly,, almost all the girls and a few guys present drooled.

“We’re so happy to be here. We thank you all for your love and support this past few years. As you listen to our song,, may you love it!” Floyd smiled and they both put on their ear piece.

“We love you,, Xscape!” That was Ashley,, y’all know her as Raspberry,, don’t get confused. She’s sitting beside her good-looking husband.

Yeah,, did i mention that she and Kingsley got married two years ago?? Kingsley proposed to her on her graduation day and she accepted. And now she’s heavily pregnant,, with triplets.

Tessa travelled to Mexico,, and got admitted in a rehabilitation center. Quincy is still in prison,, she was sentenced to life imprisonment. As for Mona Lisa,, she found love and left New York with her girlfriend.

And then,, Hardin Scott. He was arrested for trying to rápe Dwayne. He was the master mind behind the private investigation and everything. He’s gay and has been lústing over Dwayne.

“How are my babies?” Kingsley blushed,, placing a kiss on her belly.

She shrugged..

“Until my demands are cleared off,, you have no right to touch me. Get me three bowls of chicken,, grasshopper sauce,, and a novel.

Kingsley’s eyes widened..

“Grasshopper sauce?,, what’s that?. And what do you need the novel for?” Kingsley asked and Berry bursted into tears instantly,, rubbing her belly.

“Babies your daddy doesn’t love me anymore,, because am fat and ugly!!” She sobbed,, Kingsley sighed exasperatedly.

That’s what he’s being going through for the past few months,, her pregnancy hormones were acting beyond normal.

She craved for things that did even exist,, grasshopper sauce?,, like seriously?.

“I need to smell new books,, it makes me feel alive!” She pouted.

“Ok,, ok, i’ll get it after the show!” He said and her face brightened up.

On Stage,, Xscape cleared their throats and closed their eyes,, singing with the most perfect voices ever.

🎶All this time i sink,, drowning like a stone. Tryna close my eyes shut my ears on this throne 🎶

🎶 Losing my way home,, then you came along Everywhere we are,, felt like where i belong 🎶

As they sang,, Floyd heard other people singing along just as loudly as they were.

It made his heart swell to know that people loved their song just as much as they did.

He didn’t know why that surprised him,, really all throughout the night,, the entire audience had been screaming the lyrics along with them and moving their bodies to the beat of the song.

Then audience members who were perfect strangers who were screaming loudest would turn to each other with knowing glances and smile because they were sharing the same excitement and connecting with one another over their love of their music.

There was no pushing,, or shoving to get closer to the stage,, it wasn’t that kind of crowd.

Instead,, there was mutual respect for one another’s space within the confines of the too-small venue.

Nobody wanted to be the person who ruined it for someone else.

It was that respect,, that made the ‘audience members’ connections with one another that much stronger, they were all there to listen to their music,, and see their performance,, and,, of course,, they were there to enjoy it.

🎶 These bruises and wounds,, fractures on my bones. Tryna fix it all but i failed all alone 🎶

🎶 But just to be with you,, just you lying close. I can see the scars fade away on their own 🎶

After the music ended,, everyone felt slightly empty.

They had waited days,, and months for that night,, and it was over in the blink of an eye.

Although they were sad that the show was over,, they felt completely content.

Now,, when they hear their songs,, they get to remember what it felt like to hear them perform for them live.

“Xscape!,, Xscape!!”

“So amazing!!”

“This is the best night of my life!!”

“Sing some more,, sing!,, sing!!.”

“AWWW,, Floyd’s voice is spectacular and dashing”

“I love you Dwayne”

North who was sitting at the back turned and glared at the girl. Ashton saw her and he chuckled at how furious she looked.

Lyric suddenly entered and everyone’s eyes widened. Those who remembers her though.

“Lyric Dunlop is back?”

“I thought she was never gonna return”

“No way,, she even has a daughter”

“I bet she’s married to a wealthy man”

North quickly ran to her and gave her a tight hug,, so tight that she couldn’t breathe.

“Heey. Can’t breathe..” Lyric said and North released her with a pout.

“I’ve missed you so so much. You still deserve beatings for leaving without telling us goodbye. Why did you decide to just leave like that??” North said and Lyric sighed.

Ashton,, Kingsley,, Ashley approached them too. Ashley held her tummy and frowned.

“Who are you?? Dunno” She rolled her eyes and Lyric chuckled. She grabbed her hands and kissed it.

“I missed you too. So much..” Her eyes were already teary. She couldn’t control it.

“So where’s Rose??” North asked.

“Home,, with her new babysitter. She doesn’t like crowded places like this,, so i decided to leave her behind. You guys can come to my place for dinner,, then you’ll finally meet her” Lyric offered and North nodded in acceptance.

“Who’s ready for some more??” Both Floyd and Dwayne chorused and the crowd cheered.

“Meeeeeee!!!”

They resumed singing and everyone waved their hands in the hair and sang along.

⟨A COFFEE SHOP⟩

“That’s so shiny and gorgeous!!” Lyric gushed when North showed her the sparkly diamond ring on her finger. Ashley just rolled her eyes,, this is like the 100th time she’s saying it.

“I know right? He proposed to me last week!!” North smiled.

“I know,, i was there dummy” Ashley chuckled.

North smiled,, her mind going to her cutie pie. As if he knew she was thinking of him,, her phone began ringing.

She immediately picked it up while blushing.

“Cutie pie” North gushed.

“How is my future wifey?” Dwayne saabd her cheeks flushed red.

“I’m great,, now that i heard your voice” North said.

“Mind if we go to the park together after my concert?? I want to be alone with you..” He asked.

“Yeah sure sweetheart,, i’ll love to” North smiled.

“Jalgayo ⟨Bye⟩. Saranghae ⟨I love you⟩…” Dwayne said.

“Nado Saranghae ⟨ I love you too⟩” North said and ended the call.

“Let the single breeeeeath” Lyric pouted.

Ashley and North bursted into audible laughter.

⟨THE NEXT DAY⟩

“Argggh” Lyric screamed when her bedroom light suddenly went off. She woke up very early and was heading for the bathroom,, when the lights went out.

She heard footsteps approaching her bedroom. The person entered and shut the door. Her heart skipped a thousand beats as fear rushed into her,, she closed her eyes.

Suddenly,, the lights came back on,, she opened her eyes only to see Emerald kneeling down. He had a bouquet of flowers in his hands and his eyes were red and teary.

“What the h*ll are you doing here?? How did you even get passed the guards. Get out of my bedroom this minute,, and i mean it..” Lyric yelled and wanted to leave when Emerald grabbed her hands.

“I know sorry can’t bring back the happiness i stole from you,, but i am very very sorry for hurting you,, Lyric. I’m sorry for leaving you to suffer all alone. For taking advantage of you,, for letting you take care of our daughter on your own. Lyric Dunlop,, i am very sorry for ruining your life. Nothing happened that night okay,, Tessa was only there to apologise to you. She got the address wrong and ended up at my place. She waited till late and i asked her to spend the night. I swear,, nothing happened between me and her” Emerald rushed his words and Lyric didn’t realize when tears began to drop from her eyes.

She was broken.. shattered and hopeless. People criticized her.. they spoke badly about her and made her feel bad about herself.

She nearly lost Rose during labour,, but at the end of the day everything went successfully. Emerald hurt her so much,, but him coming here to apologise was a really brave move by him.

She couldn’t stay mád at him. Just staring at him weakens her. Everything about him is just perfect.. he’s a god.

“I.. i forgive you. For the sake of our daughter,, Rose” Lyric stuttered and Emerald stood up. He carried her and twirled her in the air.

“Thank you.. Thank you…” Emerald smiled and they heard the door creak open once again. Rose walked in,, smirking.

“I hope the sneaking in and stumbling on my favourite vase was worth it.. Dad?? I was dreaming about Jace Norman,, and you just had to wake me up when we were about to kiss..” Rose frowned and Lyric and Emerald exchanged glances. They bursted into laughter immediately.

“Come here..” Emerald spread his hands,, but Rose just stood still like a mannequin.

“I’m no longer a kid Dad. I’m seven years now. There’s no need for hugs and kisses. Ewww!!!” Rose rolled her eyes and they resumed laughing.

⟨A YEAR LATER≈ 2PM••@ THE ANDERSONS⟩

Dwayne’s car drove into the luxurious area and he parked his car. A guard immediately walked to his car and opened the door before he could do so.

“Good afternoon sir,, and ma’am” The guard greeted politely as both Dwayne and North stepped down from the car.

With a nod,, Dwayne locked his hand with North’s and walked into the building. Kingsley invited his friends for lunch,, and also to celebrate the birth of his children. Heaven,, Nevaeh and Sky.

They got into the dining room and met everyone already seated. Emerald and Lyric are sitting together,, Ashley and Kingsley,, Sasha,, Kristen,, Floyd and then Ashton.

“Wow! So you guys finally decided to arrive. We have been waiting for hours. Come and join us for lunch quickly” Kingsley said and North sat down.

“Good afternoon guys” Dwayne mumbled before taking his seat.

Kristen smiled at she stared at everyone,, the dining table was full.

“It’s been long we’ve had dinner like this,, like a big family. I’m so happy right now” Kristen said and Sasha smiled,, nodding her head.

“It’s so sad that dad d!ed before i even got to meet him” Ashley said sadly,, referring to their dad.

Ashton’s dad d!ed 2 years ago. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

The maid walked in and served them food and they began eating. Rose walked in,, with a smile on her face.

“Mom. I have already put the triplets to sleep. But Sky is quite a stubborn one. It took me twenty minutes before i could put him to sleep” Rose sighed and everyone bursted into laughter.

“What?? Why’s everyone laughing??” Rose cried out.

“She’s really cute with that look on her face” Emerald said and Rose rolled her eyes before sitting on his laps.

“Mom,, Dad. Do you guys have an invisible car in your bedroom. Every night,, dad screams ride faster,, ride faster. And mom replies with oh yeah,, oh Füçk. Can i ride too??” Rose suddenly said and Lyric choked on her food. Her cheeks flushed red in embarrassment.

“Hmmn. Seems like some people have been getting busy. Rose you’ll love to have a little brother,, right??” North grinned and Lyric slapped her shoulders lightly.

Rose’s eyes widened.

“Really mom?? Can we call the storks?? Will they really bring us a baby boy?? Yaaaay” Rose jumped happily and Emerald just palmed his face.

“Can we stop talking about babies and get back to eating. Nobody is ready for another kid. Are are you??” Kristen said and Lyric shook her head immediately. Rose’s smile fell instantly.

“Daaad…” She cried and Emerald cleaned her tears. He pecked her temples and said.

“Don’t worry kiddo,, in no time,, you’ll have a baby to call your brother. Don’t cry okay??” He assured and Rose nodded with a smile.

“Who’s up for a game after this. I can’t remember the last time i used a PS” Floyd and Dwayne said and everyone nodded.

“Yeah me too..” Emerald said and turned around. He scowled lightly when he saw the video recorder still on.

“What are y’all still watching huh?” He carried it.

“What’s more for y’all to watch??. It’s the end already. The End!!!. Don’t worry,, we all lived happily ever after” He grumbled with an hilarious smile,, and switched it off.

The scene suddenly blackened out.
