She should have known, the happiness wouldn’t last, after all it was too beautiful to be for forever.
“We are going to the event today, I already got you a dress and your spa and makeup artists would be ready by twelve and five pm respectively” this was the first sentence Alaric said to his wife who opened her eyes slightly surprised she didn’t get disturbed in her sleep by the cries of the children as other baby mamas say.
She felt a wet kiss on her lips and came back to her senses realizing what the man said.
‘hm” she tried to push the heavy man off but he tightened his hold around her. His hand slipped through her night silky gown about to touch her behind when the giggle of a child was heard and Alaric felt like yelling into a pillow.
Why now when he was in the mood, he satisfied them through out the night to make sure Sophia’s strength is always replenished by morning yet they treat him this way.
Alaric got off to pick up his little bun by her night jumpsuit like a little luggage and walked out of the room without saying another word.
Sophia laughed so hard she could feel her stomach hurt turning around she was stunned to see her son staring right at her with unblinking eyes.
“Honey let’s go freshen you up. We have a lot to do today”
Sophia excitedly prepared for the day while preparing her two children too because Alaric had important things to attend to and would appear in the evening to accompany them to the event.
Sophia looked dazzling in her becautiful red and black dress and the two little buns were also dressed in an outfit that matched hers. Her hair flowed on large curls at her back looking like a beautiful waterfall.
Her face seemed to glow brighter than ever as she picked up the two kids and entered the car prepared by Alaric himself for his family.
When Sophia got in she met Mrs Quinn and Mr Quinn talking to each other and was surprised they would also be attending the event, then her eyes went to her husband who was at the corner of the car glaring at his father who didn’t seem to have his time.
Mrs Quinn noticed the door was opened and turned quickly to greet her grand children who were all smiles upon seeing her even the ever straight faced Charlie.
“You look breathtaking dear”Mrs Quinn spoke in a buttery tone.
“Thank you mom, You also look stunning. I love your dress.It’s nice to see you both again, you travelled for a while” Sophia said to Mrs Quinn who nodded.
“Yes we did, the place was really amazing and relaxing”
Mr Quinn didn’t say a word to Sophia even when she greeted him out of politeness. All he did was huff before petting Charlotte who was trying to shove her foot in her mouth on the head.
Now Sophia suddenly remembered something, the face of a familiar woman she had to find. It has been so many years and the face might have been full of wrinkles but that’s the only way to get her parents previous boss.
Who was the child they were trying to kill. Who was the woman she saw, when does it all end.
Alaric who was now looking intensely at him wife couldn’t help but pull her closer in the limo to the dark side he sat while the children played with their grand parents.
Sophia’s eyes suddenly widened when she noticed something. She couldn’t help but look at Mrs Quinn deeply before looking at Alaric to see the woman had no similar feature to her son yet Alaric was a carbon copy of his father with some extra features he obviously got from someone else.
Likely a family member, but why not his mother?
Alaric turned Sophia’s face to his getting jealous of his mother who was being stared at by his wife.
Sophia didn’t dare say what was on her mind and instead she pouted her lips at the man which earned her a kiss. Sophia allowed him for as he pleased knowing it’s been a while since they have had a very good time together since the children came.
When they pulled away from each other Sophia burst out laughing seeing the lipstick on Alaric’s lips. Quickly getting out a tissue she wiped his lips clean before wiping her smudged lipstick and reapplying it beautifully.
Alaric seeing they were almost at the venue collected his children from their grandparents. The two didn’t complain and got out first holding each other’s hand all the way like a perfect couple.
Sophia was about to get off but was stopped by Alaric who got down first with the two breathtaking bundles of joy which took everyone’s breath away before he stretched his hand towards the woman in the car.
Sophia placed out her beautiful and slender fingers to clasp around the hand of her husband before letting out one of her milky white legs which made the reporters drool feeling like they couldn’t wait to meet the goddess who gave birth to this two beautiful children.
Finally Sophia got out of the car in all her glory and had to shut her eyes due to the repeated flashes which made the children uncomfortable.
Alaric noticing his restless kids glared at the reporters who all placed down their cameras after this man could just raise his hand and their memory cards would be crushed to dust.
Sophia linked her hand with Alaric’s left hand while he used his right hand to easily support his little buns who were very calm since they weren’t in a place familiar to them.
Just as they were about to leave the red carpet a beautiful and melodious voice sounded which would make one ask if the person was a singer.
Her voice was soft yet powerful, yes the dream voice of every girl.
“Alaric, long time no see” she called out to the man who was playing with his wife’s fingers subtly like the media couldn’t see his actions.
