Little Ethan refused to a say a single word to her mother as she drove him to school.
Lauren just sighs seeing he son quiet and mute.

Lauren said as she drives but Ethan still kept quiet.

She asked again. Ethan still became mute. Lauren realized he was deeply hurt Alex left them.
Lauren stopped in front of his School, West Sussëx. As soon as she stopped the car, Ethan stepped down and rushed to meet his fellow colleagues without saying goodbye to his mom. Lauren watched him and a consoling smile was on her face.

She muttered as she watches her little son mingle with the rest of his friends.
Someone knocked on her car window.
Lauren look behind her and was unhappy seeing Mrs Welson again.
She put down the car window slowly.

Lauren greeted Nicely and politely but deep down she doesn’t want to see this woman by this time of the day. She is going to be late for work if Mrs Welson start her lecture on how Ethan is failing some subjects in class and how she can help him by taking him some private classes.

She smile. She wanted to start the same lecture but Lauren quickly spoke out.
“Hmm, I think am running late now for work”
She checked the little wristwatch across her wrist.
“I just drop by to drop Ethan off quick and get going”

She wind up her car window and drove off.

She got to Linde Plc and stopped the car. She stepped down in an hurry and threw the car keys to one of the securities before she rushed inside.

Ellie said as she saw her . She quickly help her adjust her cooperate dress before they enter the conference room. She walked in like a boss she is with Ellie behind her.
She sat down and looked at the three of one (Clients from South Africa). Two females and a male.
“Am sorry, Mrs Quinn for coming so early instead of our scheduled time of 10am”
The male one among them spoke up.

Let’s just get this over with, am going to do something else within that space period”
Lauren replied.

Lauren smile on hearing that. She stood up and walked to the projector which was already set by Ellie.
Ellie began opening of the information slide and Lauren started her speech that could convince them.
As she speaks, she noticed the male client was giving her some kind of flirting look.
Lauren saw it but didn’t allow that to distract her. She remain focus as she render her speech.

As they moved out of the conference room. The man walked up to Lauren.

He said with his south African english accent.
Lauren also know what he wanted to say. She just pretended like she didn’t and nodded with a smile.

Lauren replied.
“I just want to know maybe you will be free this weekend”
He said as they both walked into the elevator.

“Can you go on a date with me?
Lauren looked surprised. She smile.
“I want to know you better, I want us to get to know each other better. And talk about stuffs aside from work related stuff or business”.
Lauren just smile. She doesn’t know what to say.

Lauren stopped in front of her son’s school waiting for him. She saw her son happily chatting and talking with his fellow mate. She noticed a girl trying to get his son’s attention by keeping him in a conversation.
“I guess he is cute as little as he is”
Lauren thought. He might have gotten his good looks either from me or from his unknown bastard father.
He said goodbyes to his friends and walked into the vehicle.
“You can’t greet me anymore?
How was your day or how was office?”
Lauren asked. Ethan just kept mute.
Lauren sighs and held his hand.

She asked as she look straight into her son’s eyes.
